Things Aren't Always As They Seem

I was bouncing slightly as I waited for everyone to get out of the bus. Uncle CC came and bounced slightly beside me. I looked over and giggled at him.

"Would you guys stop bouncing and hurry up! We're going to be late at this pace!" Daddy Andy whined, laughing softly.

"Ugh... okay okay, fine!" I laughed and hurried up to the front with Uncle Ashy.

He linked my arm with his, and we skipped all the way to some the field that had band members and workers scattered everywhere. It was right in front of a stage. There were a few tables that had various foods packed tightly on top of them, and there were a few people who were still cooking to replace what was demolished by the huge group of people.

"Well, this looks interesting." I said, and Uncle Ashy laughed.

"It's not even the best part yet." He replied.

"What's the best part?" I asked, confused.

"That, my darling girl... is a secret." He said, then pulled me towards the stage.

"Uncle Ashy! What are we doing?" I asked frantically as he forced me to go to the middle of the stage where a microphone was placed.

"If I could have everyone's attention, please." He spoke into the mic. When everyone got quiet and turned towards the stage, he continued. "First of all, tonight, quite obviously, is the last night of Warped. I hope all you mofos had as great of a time as I did!" He paused while they all cheered. "Now," quiet again, "this beautiful girl that I have on stage has a not so beautiful story to tell. For those of you who haven't had the immense pleasure of meeting this girl, her name is Andilena Biersack." Cheers came from those I've met, making me blush and try to hide behind Uncle Ashy. "Ah ah." He said, stopping me from hiding. "This is the surprise, munchkin."

"Now," Uncle Ashy continued after he wrapped his arm securely around my waist, "back to this story. Could the rest of the Black Veil Brides, Juliet, Vic, Skylee, Chris, Austin, Alan, Kellin, and anyone else who would like to come up here for Andilena's support please, well.. come up here on stage!" He chuckled.

The people who were named made their way onto the stage, as well as Ronnie, the rest of Pierce The Veil and Of Mice & Men, Jordan from The Ready Set, Oli, and Lee. Uncle Ashy was replaced by Daddy Andy and Momma Juliet, his arm tight around my shoulders and her's around my waist. The other BVB guys were closest to me. Vic was next to Daddy Andy, Austin was next to Momma Juliet, and the rest were crowded around in various places.

Daddy Andy leaned to the mic and said, "About a month ago, we met Andilena at an adoption house.. thing. She's seventeen, been through hell and still going through it. Juliet and I are kind of obviously the ones who adopted her. Unfortunately, she came home yesterday with some really bad news. Andilena?"

I looked up at him and he smiled down at me encouragingly. I smiled back and took a deep breath. "I went to the doctor yesterday... and I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse. I also have severely damaged lungs. They've gotten really weak from past... injuries... that apparently didn't heal all the way. I was always told that when I had fainting spells and other symptoms that it was because of anxiety and breathing problems were because of the broken ribs I've had. Well, that didn't help, but it was more so caused by the heart disease. Anyways, I waited too long to see a doctor... and.. um. Sorry, everyone," I choked out, I didn't think this would be so difficult. I took a deep breath to calm down some, and Daddy Andy rubbed my shoulder gently. "Anyways, I waited too long, and now, it's um... it's too late for treatment. My body wouldn't be able to withstand the surgeries and medication and things. They said I only have a month left, if I'm lucky..."

Everyone looked so shocked and sympathetic. It was slightly annoying, no offense. No one said anything for a while, but that's okay. I'd rather avoid the apologies from random people, even if some are my heroes.

Suddenly, Daddy Andy and Momma Juliet were replaced by Vic and Austin. Austin spoke first, "So, in hopes of cheering everyone up, especially Andilena, we're going to have a mini concert!"

"I'm gonna go first, so everyone but Andilena.. get off the stage." Vic laughed.

Everyone eventually made it off of the stage, and Vic brought out two chairs and an acoustic guitar. We sat down, him in front of the mic and me next to him. He started playing the first notes of "Kissing In Cars", making me gasp and tear up and him smile warmly at me.

He sang that, then played "I Don't Care If You're Contagious", "Don't Fear The Reaper", and "A Match Into Water". At the end, I had tears rolling down my face. Damnet! Good thing I used waterproof makeup...

Vic placed the acoustic guitar in the stand that was next to him, then stood us up and pulled me into a hug. I hugged back tight and everyone started clapping as Vic left the stage.

"My turn," Oli smiled, coming onto the stage and sitting where Vic had been. He picked the guitar up and played "Drown". Then he looked at me and said, "I'm gonna need a little help with this next one, love. Sing with me?" He smiled.

"I-I can't sin-" I tried to say before I got interrupted by Vic giving me a look from in front of the stage. "I.. mean... sure. I'd love to." I said smiling back at Oli. Skylee brought me a mic and smiled encouragingly at me. I smiled, then she walked back off stage.

"Okay, so this next one is called 'Don't Go'. You've heard this song before, right?" He asked me, I nodded and he continued with, "Good, that'd be a lil awkward if you didn't, dontcha think? Anyways, you can sing the girl's part, I'll sing mine, obviously. Ready, love?"

"Sure," I smiled as he started playing.


(Oli)

He leaned over after he put the guitar down and hugged me, then stood up and everyone clapped. Austin and Aaron came on stage next and played "You're Not Alone" and "This One's For You". They hugged me, and as they left the stage, everyone cheered.

All of the BVB guys Momma Juliet came on stage next and played "Carolyn" and "Savior". After that, our mini concert was over, so we left the stage. Then, someone turned on the radio and played some random songs.

Wow, I messed up so many times in this chapter o.o I don't even know. I'm sorry I haven't updated yet, guys. I'm four states away from where I live because I'm visiting family so I haven't had time to yet xc sorry! Oh, and I tried to fix this as much as possible lol.
