Things Aren't Always As They Seem
Chapter 2

Before you read, I feel like I should dedicate this chapter to FallenAngel234, because they were the first to comment:3 like, ever because I'm new to the site cx. And they wanted me to update. I was going to wait till later, but I decided against it. Anyways, enjoy!
It was Andy Biersack! The Andy Biersack! I looked down at my notebook and blushed. I was almost finished drawing the whole band, but I was working on Andy's face. I shut the notebook quickly and stood up.
"What? Did I scare you or something?" He smirked, but in a nice way.
"I... n-no... maybe..." I muttered.
I had barely spoken above a whisper, but it was enough to make everyone in the room stop what they were doing and look at me weirdly. Let me enlighten you a bit. I don't speak to people. I'll talk to Gillian only when we're in the room, and no one believes her when she tries to say that I actually can talk. Which I can, I just don't like to. I've only spoken a handful of times since the Incident.
"Uhm... okay then..." He trailed off, looking around at everyone, "Anyways, what's your name?"
Everyone leaned forward a little in hopes of hearing me talk again, probably thinking it was their imagination or something.
"M-my name is Andilena..."
"Ooo, that's a cool name. Why don't you come with me? There's some people here that you might like to meet. Well, maybe. I'm only assuming you're a fan, since you were drawing us. Plus, I could hear Savior on repeat from outside! But loud music is the best." Andy rambled on. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me along to the Meeting room. It's where the people wanting to adopt meet with Jenny and the kid they're interested in.
I just followed silently, keeping my head down and my hair in front of my face. I could hear snickers following me out. When the door closed behind me, it only got louder. I sighed quietly, but Andy was right in front of me so he still heard me. He turned around and hugged me.
"I know it hurts, but just ignore them."
I only nodded back.
He sighed and started walking again. "Come on, the rest of the band is in the Meeting room. Juilet's here, too. We're the people looking to adopt, in case you haven't already figured it out."
I followed him to the Meeting room, but I couldn't go in yet. I stopped just outside the door, and started to panic. What if they don't like me? What if they make fun of me, too? What if-
My train of thought was interrupted with a soft "hey" from Andy. I looked up quickly, then looked right back down to signal that I was listening.
"It's okay to be nervous. I can practically see the negative thoughts racing through your head. They'll love you. Okay?" He said in a calming tone.
And it worked. It actually worked. Nothing's been able to calm me down since the Incident. Except for listening to music, of course. Maybe that's why it calmed me! I'm used to hearing his voice through music. Oh shoot, he's talking again. But I can't focus, what is he saying?
"homsgjen...hskh... ANDILENA!" That's the only thing I can make out before I crash to the floor. Well, Andy caught me before I could hit the ground, but you get the idea.
"S-sorry..."
"It's fine..are you okay?!"
"Yeah.."
"People don't just fall over like that, Andilena."
"Well, this person does.."
Andy sighed "Are you okay enough to come and meet everyone? I'd like to get to know you more, and once the rest meet you, I'm sure they will, too."
"I guess.." I trailed off.
"Okay." He said quietly, then turned to the door.

Hopefully soon! I'm having a bit of an indecisive streak, I guess you could say. I want to create something really good for everyone to read, and I don't want to just settle with something I'm not 100% happy with. But I've got several ideas to go through. And a bit of frustrating writer's block. xc
