Things Aren't Always As They Seem

Chapter 26

~skipping the shopping trip~
We got back to the PTV bus and snuck the bags inside. Luckily, no one else was in the bus.

I set the bags I had on their kitchen table, Vic setting his down beside mine. I started laying the stuff out on the table with Vic helping. In all, we had bought 78 small balloons, several water guns (two large sized ones, two medium sized ones, and a ten pack of small ones), four silly string cans, two walkie talkies, washable neon paints, three containers of baby powder, food coloring, six cans of whipped cream, two boxes of strawberry poptarts, eight bottles of water, two one-shouldered bookbags, and two utility belts with compartments along the front so that we could put things into them and easily take them out if need be.

"Okay, plan?" I asked, looking up at him.

"Well, let's get everything ready first, then we'll come up with a plan."

I nodded and opened the balloon package. I gave Vic 13 balloons and nodded towards the kitchen sink. I took 13 more, grabbed one of the bags, and headed to the bathroom to fill up the balloons with water. Once I was done, I carefully took the bag back into the kitchen. Vic was already done and waiting for me.

I filled up the water guns with water and a few drops of different food coloring in each gun. Vic filled 24 balloons with various paints and some water. He placed 12 in my bag, and 12 in his. I grabbed 8 balloons and filled them with baby powder, various food colorings, and a little bit of water in each, then shook them up to mix it together. I placed 4 in each bag.

I grabbed the utility belts and placed two silly string cans, one medium sized water gun, a container of baby powder, and two cans of whipped cream in each. We filled the remaining 20 balloons with whipped cream and placed ten in each bag. I put four bottles of water in each bag, placing them in the side pockets. I put a box of poptarts in each bag.

Vic grabbed some Ziploc bags and filled four of them with baby powder from the remaining bottle. He handed them to me, then I placed two Ziploc bags and five small water guns in each bag.

"Okay. Everything's ready. Planning time." I giggled.

Vic motioned to the living room and sat down on the couch, pulling two folded up maps of W.T. and handed one to me. He spread his out on the table, picking up a pen.

"Okay, what bands are we mainly targeting?" He asked.

"BVB, SWS, OM&M, and BMTH are the main ones. I feel like they will probably be easier to get without them getting too pissed. We can try to hit them when they're busy, so it's less likely for them to be able to strike back."

"BVB is the first one playing out of those, then BMTH about an hour later. FIR is playing in between and they're on the way to BMTH so we can try to hit them, too. OM&M is playing at five, and SWS is at five-thirty. It's 2:55 now and BVB plays at 3:10. The stage they're playing at is close, though, and if we hurry, we can get back stage about five minutes into their set. We can attack, run off the stage, and rush to where FIR is playing. They'll probably already be playing by the time we get there. We can get back stage, attack, and then run like hell. When it's safe, we can slow down and make our way to BMTH. We should have some time before they go on stage. MIW has a signing at 3:45, and they're set up right next to where BMTH is playing. We can hurriedly get them, too, and hope to God they don't chase after us. We attack BMTH, run away and go to where OM&M is playing. It'll take about a half hour to get to their stage. SWS is luckily playing just across the field from OM&M, so it shouldn't take that long to get there. Remember, do not use a bunch on any one band. We'll run out of stuff really fast. If we get caught, whip out the silly string and baby powder, stun them and run like hell. If we get separated at any time, get to the Peace Tea truck as fast you can. Use the walkie talkie and let me know when you get there. Can you think of anything else?" Vic said.

"Yes. Only use channel 13 for the walkie talkies. If we're about to be captured, yell "The pancakes have been taken" followed by who's about to capture you into the walkie talkie, then quickly switch it off. When they cut off, they immediately go back to channel one. Before we say anything important, I'll ask "Do you like waffles?" and you'll reply with "Yeah we like waffles.", then proceed with the important information. If either one gets captured, do NOT say anything! Run back to this bus, hide the stuff behind your suitcase in your little cubby hole thing below your bunk. Act natural. Find the capter, and rescue the captee somehow." I replied.

"Okay, let's go." He smirked at me, making me giggle.

We stood up and walked back into the kitchen. I hooked the bookbag sideways over my shoulder, then the utility belt around my waist. I hooked a walkie talkie to my pocket, Vic doing the same with his things.

Notes

Sorry for the delay. Had some stuff going on. I will try to do better.

@skullkid
Hopefully soon! I'm having a bit of an indecisive streak, I guess you could say. I want to create something really good for everyone to read, and I don't want to just settle with something I'm not 100% happy with. But I've got several ideas to go through. And a bit of frustrating writer's block. xc
