Things Aren't Always As They Seem

"So, who else are we going to ask?" Tony asked after we fully explained everything.

"Of Mice, Motionless, SWS, Bring Me, The Ready Set, In This Moment, and Mayday Parade." Uncle Ashy said.

"Okay, but if we try to go to each band individually, it'll take forever and a day. So, wanna split up?" Vic asked.

"Sure. Tony and I will go ask Motionless and In This Moment. Vic, you and Andilena go ask SWS and Bring Me, though I'm not sure both Kellin and Oli will go considering they hate each other. So good luck! Ashley, you go ask Mayday Parade and Of Mice." Jaime said.

"W-what about Jordan from The Ready Set?" I asked quietly.

"Uhm... how about this. Everyone get as many people as they can to come with us in the next... fourty five minutes? We'll meet back here and if someone hasn't been able to find Jordan, we'll all go look for him. Sound like a plan?" Tony suggested.

"Sure! U-Uncle Ashy, are you okay with me going with Vic?" I asked timidly.

"Yeah, just BE CAREFUL!!!!! Cawse, Vic, if something happens to her, we're all dead." Uncle Ashy replied, laughing softly.

"Alright, I'll keep an eye on her." Vic said, playfully winking at me, causing me to blush. "Come on, little one. Let's go!!!" He grabbed my hand, and gently entwined our fingers before taking off in a random direction. Course, it was probably only random to me since I'm sure Vic knows his way around... hopefully at least.

"S-so, who are we going to next?" I stuttered as we slowed down some, but since I'm short (even compared to Vic) I was still struggling a little to keep up.

"Sleeping With Sirens, since they're closer. Hey, I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything, but why do you stutter sometimes?" Vic asked softly, slowing down some more.

"U-uhm... w-well. That's a long story..."

"Well... we've got some time." Vic replied, smiling back at me.

"U-uhm... well, it's m-mainly when I'm nervous... or embarrassed... or s-s-scared... or sound people I-I don't know..." I trailed off, flipping my hair out of my eyes.

"Oh, okay... well, you don't have to stutter around me. I won't bite... much." He joked.

I giggled and said, "Okay... I-I'll try to stop stuttering. I'm surprised no one else has asked me yet. Not even Daddy Andy or Momma Juliet has asked yet."

"Well, maybe they don't want to make you uncomfortable or overwhelmed by them asking. I only asked because I figured it would be easier for you to answer when we were alone rather than around the other guys."

"T-thank you, Vic. That was really thoughtful of y-you."

"Not a problem." He said, suddenly stopping in front of me, causing me to almost bump into his back. He turned around and lifted my chin with his pointer finger so I'd have to look him in the eyes. "But... no more stuttering. You don't have to feel uncomfortable around me. I'll do my best to never let anyone hurt you again. Okay?"

"O-Oka-" I started but quickly stopped when he gave me a look. I took a deep breath and tried again. "Okay. Thank you, Vic."

He smiled big, like he'd just accomplished something amazing. "You're welcome, Andilena. Beautiful name, by the way. Just like you. Never forget that." He said, making me smile back. "Whenever you feel nervous, or uncomfortable, or whatever else that causes you to stutter... take a deep breath, and act like you're talking to me or one of the BVB guys. You don't have to stutter, darling."

I nodded. "Thank you... but shouldn't we continue finding people to go with us before we run out of time?"

"Oh yeah... probably." He said, laughing before starting to walk again.
