He Has My Heart

Rileys POV

The Roof had slowly been picking up business once the winter chill started to wear off. It was a Friday afternoon and me and Kimber were working the downstairs bar. Ashley and CC had joined us, but to drink, not to work.
Kimber handled the boys while I answered some calls about bands wanting to play for next weekend, when Kimber interrupted me.
"Hey babe, your LV regular is here. She must have something on this weekend" Kimber said, then ducking back out of the office.
My LV regular was a tall woman with fake blonde hair, fake tan, fake nails and probably fake personality. Her name was Kina and every couple of months or so, she would always come here and say hi. I think we connected because we were both from Las Vegas, but that was it. I really didn't like her otherwise, but she insisted on being served by me.
She sat on the other side of the bar, in the opposite room to where Kimber and the boys were. That part of the bar was closed, but Kina never cared.
I sighed and got up from my office chair.
"Hey Kina, how's it going?" I said politely as I came out from the office and poured her usual vodka, lime and soda.
"Hey Riley, It's going good. I got an offer to model kinky lingerie for a sex shop. Photo shoot is tomorrow, so I thought I'd come in today. I haven't been to LA in so long! How have you been Riley?" She said, smiling pulp botox lips.
"I've been okay. I actually went to Las Vegas a couple months ago. I'm not ever going back" I said wiping the drips I spilt.
"Ohh why? You should have come seen me!" She whined.
"Sorry, I had other things on my mind Kina. I just don't like Vegas and we'll leave it at that" I said, not wanting another person knowing my past.
She looked disappointed that I wouldn't tell her, but I noticed her studying my left hand.
"Holy shit Riley! Who gave you that rock?! When did you get engaged?! Who to?!" She asked with outrage.
I smiled down at the ring.
"Ohh yeah, umm news years eve is when he proposed" I said shyly.
She smiled excitedly at me "So, who's the lucky guy?"
"He's actually here, if you want to meet him."
Her eyes lit up. "Uhh yeah!"
I walked through the office to the other side of the bar to grab Ashley.
"Ash, someone wants to meet you" I said opening the door to get behind the bar.
He got up silently and left CC with Kimber. "Fan?"
"No. A regular of mine. She's nosy."
I lead him through and introduced him to Kina.
"Kina, this is Ashley, my fiancee" I said holding Ashleys hand, but I felt his grip tighten.
"Ashy!"
"Kina!"
I was really confused. "Do you guys know each other?"
Kina let out a sarcastic laugh, "Oh we know each other. Ashy, you said you had a girlfriend! I didn't think you were going to get married!"
"Ashley, what the hell is she talking about?" I said nervously.
Ashley turned to me and sighed. "Remember when we played that show in Vegas last year and I called you really late cause I had a run in with an ex and needed to tell you."
"Yeah" I said slowly.
"Kina's my ex" he said cocking his head towards her.
I wasn't sure how to feel. I'd known Kina for a while and she never mentioned going out with Ashley, but I never mentioned my association with Black Veil Brides. Ashley said he only ever had one other somewhat meaningful relationship. Kina was that relationship? Shit.
"So Riley, do you enjoy my sloppy seconds?" She said sarcastically.
"Kina, me and Ashley have a proper relationship. Trust and loyalty actually mean something to us. I can't believe you tried to hit on him when he clearly said no!" I said, getting pissed off.
"It was just for a bit of fun. Me and Ashy would do it in bathroom stalls. So dirty, I'm getting hot thinking about it" she said finishing her drink.
"Kina, I don't think that is appropriate! You were throwing yourself at me! I would have talked to you if weren't trying to get in my pants!" Ashley yelled.
"Look whose talking. You're the biggest man whore I know and this nobody is who you choose? You can do better Ashy" she said in a smug tone.
I couldn't believe she said that. My jaw had dropped. I wanted to kill her.
"Get the fuck out of my bar, bitch!" I yelled.
"Riley, come on. Just joking" she said calmly.
"I don't give a fuck. Get out!"
She just scoffed at me.
"Okay, thats it! Security!"
"Okay, okay. I'm going. Should try and relax Riley. Take a joke" She said grabbing her bag.
"You crossed a major line bitch. Ashley is the only family I have and if you ever and I mean ever come near him or any of his bands members, I will make you regret it!" I yelled, escorting her out. "And in case you didn't figure this out, don't ever come back here!" I screamed as I pushed her out the door.
I slammed the front door and turned around to see Ashley and CC staring at me in awe and Kimber looking very confused.
"Ashley, you can explain it to them. I have to make phone calls upstairs" I said a little breathless. But on the inside, what she said kind of hurt. I just needed to be alone.
