Ashley's POV

Why did I do that? I don't know but something was telling me to let her. It felt good for the first few seconds until I started running on empty. "Ash? You ok?" Scarlett asks opening the bunk. I nod and she sighs in relief. Our eyes make contact and hers are glowing red and her fangs are out. She blushes noticing me studing her and sits beside me. "Ash this is gonna sound gross at first but we need to get you food. As in blood." She says quietly and I shudder thinking about what that means. I have to KILL some innocent person just to survive. Disgusting but it's what I signed up for right? "O-ok." I stutter slightly nervous. "Ashley we don't kill the innocent... We hunt all night looking for the perfect target. Which means we save someone from being killed, raped, or we snatch a dealer. We aren't blood thirsty animals. You need to forget everything you ever thought you knew about vampires." She says gently and I nod. She seems so innocent and perfect, wait what am I saying? I can't fall in love I've got an image to uphold. My stomach growls and my eyes glow a light red. Scarlett laughs and pulls me up. "Your band is all still asleep and will be for awhile, you're stronger then most." She says as we step over the sleeping bodies of CC and Andy. "Scar? You've got Ash right?" Frost calls from outside. "Ya can you watch Raven tonight? He seems a little thirstier then normal." Scarlett says as we step off the bus. I roll my shoulders as my fangs grow and so do my wings. I open my wings slightly soaking in the moonlight, it feels amazing. "Sure! Raven where did your fat ass go off too!" Frost yells running off. Mystic and Night just shake their heads and walk off. Scarlett turns to me and smiles. "Ok Ash do you trust me?" She asks as we start off. Do I trust her? Well duh. "Ya.." I say slowly as we walk down an ally way. "Ok Ash what do you smell?" She whispers and I take a deep breath. "Blood... 2 different donors, ones scared and the other ones angry." I whisper back and she smiles. Good sign right? "Ok follow the smell to the angry one and sink in." She whispers and I nod leading the way. Am I really gonna do this? I am starving but really? I see a figure standing with his back turned to us, he's standing over a cowarding little girl. Rage corses through my bones and I launch myself at him. I slip one hand over his mouth and drag him away so the little doesn't have to watch. When I'm outta sight I sink my teeth in draining his body in seconds. "Very nice Ashley. Actually it was perfect." Scarlett says wiping blood from her lips. "Wh-where did you get the blood from?" I ask as we head back to the bus. "A hunter. Don't worry Ash it wasn't the little girls blood. I don't do that type of thing." Scarlett says with a sigh. I nod as we sit in the back room. "Movie?" She offers and I shrug why not. She puts in Orphan and sits on the opposite end of the couch. I sigh and try not to look hurt, but it hurts. I want her in my arms and I don't know why...
