Andy's Pov

(Hospital follow up) (FILLER)*4-6 hour time lapse* 10pm-2am*

At the emergency room...Ashley sits in the wheelchair head down. I'm croutched on the floor at his feet while CC and Jake are still contacting people trying to figure out the truth. Jinxx and John are in the hallway talking...

Nurse- "Mr. Purdy...Ashley looks up...Im here to take you down for x-ray."
I think to my self how much I really want to kiss him and tell him it's all gonna be ok but if i do that the media really will be in a frenzy...and thats the last thing Ash needs right now. Instead I stand up and move out of the nurses way..

"I will be right here when you get back..." Ash looks up at me..and nods.. as the nurse wheels Ashley down the hall and into the elevator. I joins John and Jinxx in the hallway the both look at me and I tell them they've taken Ashley down for x-ray.

John looks at me worried," how is he?"

"Well to be honest I dont know...any news?"

Jinxx looks as me, "well CC found a number to Nikki's parents and he's calling them
now... I mean if anyone would know it would be them."

John looks more worried now, "Lord help them....I cant imagine."
CC approaches....they all look at him, "well all I got was a answering machine so I left my name told them I was a friend of Ashley's. I also left my number and begged them to call me back....well at their convience..of course."

I hit the table in front of be but not enough to hurt and scream, "DAMN IT!"
*Nurses look at me scoldingly*
I cant believe I let my emotions get the better of me. "Sorry...."

*commotion*
Everyone turns their attention to see police restraining papparazi at the emergency room entrance.

"OMG are you freaking kidding me??"

John seem that if its not handled soon I may lose it, "I've got this everyone stay here. I'm going to talk to the press and ask for them to respect Ashley's privacy."

Jinxx laughs, "yeah while your at it you might have to define that word, since it's not really in
their vocabulary..." John grins as he walks to the hoard of reporters grappling for a story.

The elevator dings and the nurse wheels Ashley back into his room and the guys follow her in as she assists Ashley into the bed in the room.

Nurse- "Mr. Purdy are you in pain?"

Ashley looks up at hurt trying not to move so much, "Yes ma'am."

The nurse nods, "I will be right back with some pain medication and the Dr. will
be with you shortly once he reviews your xray results." Ashley nods as the nurse exits the room..

I look at him wincing in pain and realize I have to do what I can to make him feel better, "Hey Sunshine." Ashley smiles weakly.

After a few moments the nurse returns with a cup of pills and a cup of water informing Ashley that the pills will help with his pain and may make his drowsy. Ashley leans forward enough to downs the pills and water and lays back down on the bed. The nurse leaves and after about 20 minutes of waiting Ashley falls asleep. The guys and I sit quietly not wanting to wake him when suddenly theres a loud knock on the door...Ashley jumps violently awake. Well so much for letting him sleep.

Dr. Woodsen looks at Ash, "Mr. Purdy?"

Ashley looks around shocked and groggily says, "Yes sir?"

Dr. Woodsen laughs, "Sorry about waking you. Well there's good news! Your hand is NOT broken. You are very lucky Mr. Purdy...I'm ordering a sling and I recommend it to be wrapped on your hand for atleast 6 weeks. You will also need to follow up with your general physician in 2 weeks."

Ashley smiles and says with enthusiasm, "Yes sir."

And with that the doctor exits the room as nurse enters to wrap ashleys hand and then
they begin the process of hospital release forms....yay...NOT!! Finally Ashley is released from the hosptial and silently stares out of the window of the suv as we head back to the bus.

John looks at Ash then back at the road, "Ashley if you want some time off I..Ashley are you listening to me....Ashley??" I lean forward and sees ashley is asleep he I lean
forward and tell John as the suv reaches the bus ashley tries but fails to wake himself up.

"Shhhh baby it's ok i got you...." Jinxx and CC exit the suv as Jake opens my door allowing me to scoop Ashley up in my arms and carry him to the bus...I lay him down and gently kisses his forehead before exiting the room.

*3 hours later* everyone has settled in for the night
*phone rings* *5am*

Ashley wakes up in a panic and screams, "NIKKI!!!"

I roll over and groan, "huh!!"

BANG
Ashley jumps out of bed and franticlly runs to the living room.

"NIKKI!!!"

"Baby whats going on?"

"It's Nikki's ringtone!"

By now Everyone hears Ashley yelling and follows the commotion and a multitude of curse words to the living room where Ashley, who is cursing his cell phone to stop being stupid, finally gets the phone to accept the passcode and answers the phone hysterically.

"HELLO!!???..hello???? please....hello!!!!!!!"

Nikki sigh into the phone and calmly says, "Ashley??"

Suddenly Ashley is overcome with emotion...he bursts into tears and his knees give out. The guys I instantly rush to his side. We can hear someone trying their best to console and comfort Ashley. I accidentally bumps the phone with my hand as I wipe away Ash's tears and the phone lights up the screen and the callers id is revealed....it says call from "NIKKI" relief washes over everyone...I think to my self please let the rumors of Nikkis death be false.
Ashley-I knew...*sniffles* i knew it...wasnt true...

"Ashaboo I'm so sorry...honey..." *her voice starts breaking* "This has been one very crazy day..."

"What happened?"

"Well I rode to a photoshoot with my friend Eva she dropped me off and said she would be back in a couple hours to pick me up that she was going shopping down on the strip. So we said our goodbyes and I went into the shoot. I realized after she'd left that i forgot my bag in her car." *voice breaks again* "You already know how I am. I'd forget my head if it
wasnt attached....anyway well I used the photographers phone to call her and left her a message let her know i forgot my bag to not worry and i would see her in a few hours...well i waited and waited and waited for her to show up and after several hours my photographer
offered to take me home....so we were driving down highway 10 and we see lots of police lights a ambulance and everything someone had had a wreck slid off into the ravine."

*her voice starts breaking once again*
"So when I saw what happened I said a silent
prayer that everyone was ok and then Lenny dropped me off at my
apartment. I took a shower, watched some tv and went to bed...about 30
minutes ago I was awakened to my dad screaming my name it scared me
half to death. So I walked in there and daddy damn near had a stroke
when he saw me he couldnt even talk...I was so confused then my momma
walked in and started bawling her eyes out and hugged me and wouldn't let go. I had no clue what was going on and to be honest I thought they were gonna tell me something
had happened to you. Momma said her and daddy recieved a call from
some guy named Christian saying he was Ashley's friend and asked us to
call him back so we did and he told us they had been told that Nikki
Jerome had be found dead! I was shocked like I was what I actually
felt like fainting....I was so confused on why they'd think that and
how everyone knew I was dead but me...then it all clicked."

*she starts crying uncontrollably*

"That wreck Ashley....it...it... was Eva....and they thought it was me because they found my I.D. in her car...once my parents had discovered I was alive we immediately contacted the police and I had to go and give a statement and all that and finally i had to ID her body cause she doesnt have any family. Then I realized what momma had said that this Christian was a friend of Ashley...my Ashley...I'm literally standing outside the hospital so that I could call
you....

*2 hours later* *7am*
Ashley's Pov

I finally ends my phone call with Nikki...relieved and emotionally exhausted I turn to see Andy had fallen asleep on the couch...

"Baby?"

"Hhmmm Im awake...whats wrong??"

"Nothing's wrong baby...lets go to bed."

"That's the best idea i've heard all night."

"Actually its morning babe..."

Andy looked at him and frowned, "NOPE...I object morning can not come I have not been to bed yet."

I smile and kisses andy and lead him to the bunk area where
we settle in for some much needed sleep.
