Love The Way You Lie

Andy sighed as he walked into the club with his band mates. Ashley, Jake, Jinxx, and CC were making him go out, which he hated.

He used to love it but now he prefers staying in with his friends and drinking on their own. Too many people irked him.

"My head already hurts." He muttered and felt Jake smack the back of it.

"You say you want to be Andy again? Well this is what Andy used to do. Deal with it." He said.

The five walked to the bar and Ashley ordered them all their first beers.

The guys all looked similar except the only one with short hair was Andy and that was now brown. They were all about to go on Warped Tour for the entire summer. Right now they only had a week break. He failed to tell Emerson this but he hoped she wouldn't be mad.

Andy took a large sip of his beer. "Let's dance mother fucker's." Ashley said running on the floor CC scurried after him and Andy leaned on the bar with Jake and Jinxx.

"She's hot." Jinxx said, tipping his bottle towards a girl in leggings. She was dancing with two other girl's and he immediately knew that brown and blonde hair.

Emerson.

A few boys were trying to dance with her and she kept shrugging them off but Andy saw the way they were looking at her.

He started towards her, hearing cat calls from Jake and Jinxx. He grabbed her hand and started dancing with her from behind. "Woah dude- Andy!?" She exclaimed. He laughed as she hit his
shoulder. "Why would you do that to me?"

"I saw you dancing out here, and couldn't help but notice how beautiful you looked." He grinned.

"Why thank you." She winked. The song switched to What If I Was Nothing by All That Remains.
"Isn't this convenient?"

Andy grinned and grabbed her hands, before putting them around his neck. His glided around her waist and she chuckled.

"Are we really doing this?" She asked.

"Of course." He said, glancing over at Jake and Jinxx who were gawking at him. Her friends had walked away to leave them be. They knew this must have been the guy and didn't want to interrupt.

"You seem to be nicer now." She chuckled.

"I hate clubs. Seeing you has made my night better." He said.

"Wow, that's heavy. Glad I could be here then." She laughed. To be honest she was a little happy to see Andy. For most of the night, a group of guys had been trying to get in her pants and maybe Andy would turn them away.

"Who are those guys looking at you right now?" He asked.

"They won't leave me alone." She said.

"I'll make them." Andy seethed.

"If they say anything else I give you full permission to beat the shit out of them." She chuckled.

"Then I'll get thrown out." He smirked. "Would you come with me?"

"If you'd want me too." She smiled, softly. This Andy was so nice. He seemed to be a little more carefree, not afraid to be who he was or used to be.

"I'd want you too." He said, brushing her hair behind her ear. She blushed and leaned her head on his chest. Andy's heart was pounding ridiculously fast. No one had made him feel this way before and he knew he had to straighten up for this girl.

He had to go back to his roots. He had to be Andy Six again.

He brushed his black hair out of his face and smiled down at Emerson.

Once the song ended they pulled away from each other only for Emerson to feel someone else's hand on her ass.

She shrieked, "Don't fucking touch me!" She jumped behind Andy who stood up a little taller. The guy was tall, with blonde hair.

"Awh why? Your so sexy." She backed up into another guys chest.

"Andy." She said, grabbing on to his shirt.

"Look guys, she's my girlfriend. Please leave her alone." He said, calmly.

"Pssh we could take you." The blonde one said. The one behind Emerson put his hands on her shoulder.

"Stop!" She screamed, running into Andy's arms. He rubbed her back and glared at the guys.
Men had tried to fuck with her before, but they'd never gone this far. Raped terrified Emerson, especially after..

"Stay the fuck off her!" Andy yelled, as she buried her face in his chest.

"Whatever. Better not leave her alone." The other guy winked, leaving Emerson a shaking mess.

Victoria and Lea ran over. "Emerson!" Victoria said.

"Are you okay?" Lea asked.

"Not really." She mumbled, turning her head on Andy's chest. She pulled away but he stayed next to her.

"Man fuck those guys!" Lea screamed. "Hey I'm Lea by the way. I looked you up on Google. You're sexy." She said looking at Andy.

"Ah thanks." Andy laughed, "I'm Andy."

"And I'm Victoria. Your beautiful." She said. Andy smiled, looking down at Emerson. She had her arms crossed over her chest and her legs were crossed as well, like she wanted to cover up.

"Nice to meet you guys." He said, slipping off his jacket. He offered it to Emerson and she gratefully put it on. "Well, I don't want to interrupt your night but Emerson seems a little freaked. So if you'd like to come back to my place?"

"She would." Victoria and Lea said in unison. He chuckled.

"Emerson?" He asked. She glanced up at him, fear still in her eyes.

"Y-yeah let's go. I'll see you guys soon." She waved and took Andy's arm. He lead her out of the club, a quick nod in Jinxx and Jake's direction. "Your friends aren't going to be mad?"

"Course not, I would have just dragged them down." He said. It was hard for him to be talking so informal but this was the person he wanted to be for her. He wanted to be Andy the love struck guy again. Ever since his ex-girlfriend, Scout, he never let girls in. That was about to change.

The same guys but with a few more were outside of the doors, smoking. "Oh it's the little beauty.." They chuckled. Andy put his hands on her shoulders and lead her to his car.

He felt her start to shake as they shouted other things to her. Andy felt furious but also a little confused. She said she went out all the time and guys must do this a lot. Why is it such a big deal now?

Once in the car, Andy turned it on and she sighed. "Emerson, are you alright?"

Tears fell down her cheeks as she shook her head. "No." He wrapped his arms around her, a little awkwardly since she was so far away. He also hasn't comforted someone like this in years.

"W-why-" His voice cracked so he cleared his throat. "Why not?"

She let out a sob, and looked into his eyes. "My sister was raped when she was fifteen. Ever since the only guys I ever trusted was Kelly and my dance partner Juan. The rest just..scare me."

"And me?" He asked, wiping her tears away. She chuckled.

"And you." She said, laying her head on his chest.

"Then why do you go out?" He whispered.

"Because Emily always told me to live on with my life and I like to party. I just get scared when people act like that." She shook her head.

"Well where is Emily today?" Andy asked, laying his head on hers.

"My family doesn't speak to me anymore. Not since I left for Los Angeles." She mumbled.

"I'm so sorry Ms- Emerson." He corrected himself. Not Ms. Carter, Emerson.

"It's whatever." She said, pulling away. "You know, Andy, I like you a lot better like this." She smiled.

He grinned back, "Me too." He pulled out of the parking space and began the short journey back to his house.

Emerson leaned foward and flipped through some of the CD's he had on his dash. One was called We Stitch These Wounds and a guy that looked a lot like Andy was painted on the cover.

"Is this you?" She asked. He nodded.

"That's our first album." He chuckled. She took the CD out and popped it in the player.

"What's a good one to listen too?" She said, glancing at the back.

"Carolyn is nice." He said. She hit the button until she reached the last song.
Sitting back in her seat, Emerson allowed the sweet melody to fill her ears. When Andy started singing, she almost fainted. His voice was truly beautiful.

"Wow." She breathed out. He reached over and grabbed her hand. He started lowly singing along with the recording and she felt her heart flutter.

The song ended as soon as it started and Emerson found herself yearning to hear his voice again.

"Your amazing." She said. He grabbed her hand and smiled.

"Thank you." He said, softly. She leaned her head on his shoulder.

"That was pretty soft. Not what I expected." She chuckled, relishing the feeling of his warm hand resting in hers. Usually she would have thought about Kelly at least four times by now but she was so caught up in Andy she didn't have too.

"Our new stuff is harder." He laughed.

"Well I like the soft stuff. It's beautiful." She said.

He clicked his jaw and looked over at her. "I'm glad."

"Is there any more?" She asked.

He looked back at the road and sighed. "Y-yeah there's one more on there."

"What's it called?" She said, flipping to the back.

"The Mortician's Daughter." He said. She clicked to it and smiled when she heard it was acoustic.

"Love song?" She smirked.

"Something like that." Andy bit his lip ring.

As Emerson listened to the lyrics she became immediately entranced. They were beautiful, and so heartfelt. She wondered who he'd written them for..

Once they reached the second chorus, Andy reached up to turn the song off taking Emerson by surprise.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Uh.." He shook his head. "That song brings up a few memories."

"Want to talk about it?" She asked, taking his hand again. He smiled a bit and then sighed.

"It was about my ex, Scout." He said, "I was young, I thought I knew what love was. I didn't. She cheated on me, then I started partying a lot more. We didn't break up, just cheated on each other continuously. Finally I said enough was enough and ended it right before Warped Tour. Then I just... became worse. Partied every night, used women. All up until we started recording our third album, then I became hard and mean. I forgot about love and focused on business. Scout basically ruined my life." Emerson rubbed his knuckles soothingly, letting him know she was there.

"Andy I'm so sorry." She said.

"It's fine-"

"No, for saying I wouldn't want to help you. I want too." She whispered, pushing his hair back. "I want to be here for you, Andy." She saw him crack a small smile and then place a small kiss on her forehead.

Emerson had made him do a 180 on who he was and for that he was so grateful.

They rode the rest of the way in a comfortable silence. When they got there, he led her inside, an arm securely wrapped around her waist.

"Thank you, Andy." She said, as they sat down on his nice, leather couch.

"Of course." He said, wrapping an arm around her. She cuddled into his side and laid her head on his shoulder.

"You called me your girlfriend." She smiled to herself.

"Y-yeah." He stuttered. She giggled, looking up at him. He smiled and kissed her forehead. She placed her hand on his cheek and turned his head back to her.

"Imagine if Kelly had never introduced us. Yesterday, I might add." She said, stroking his cheek.
"I'd be the same asshole Andy Biersack I was two days ago." He smiled, "You've already brought me back to my old self."

"Kind of." Emerson laughed and Andy nodded.

"Kind of." He agreed. He licked his lips looking at her's. "Emerson can I-"

She smashed her lips to his, stealing his breath away. They molded together so well, and their noses fit perfectly. His lip ring dug into her lip, making her go crazy. She let her hands glide on to his ribs and across his back.

Andy's whole body tingled with the fire her lips sent through him. He pulled away, placing one tiny kiss on her lips, for fear he'd take it too far. "Wow." She said, smiling. "Please stay like this. Be nice, because right now.." She shook her head, "You've got me hooked."

"I will." He promised. They sat in silence for a little bit, just bathing in the happiness the other brought them.

He suddenly remembered something that might ruin this. His happiness. "Emerson?"

"Yes?"

"I'm going tour all summer next week."
