Love The Way You Lie

Andy laid on the couch, Emerson on top of him. His arms rested around her neck as they looked up at the TV.

They hadn't played today in Milwaukee and Andy was tired as hell. He felt so under the weather and hated that Emerson had to help take care of him.

They were playing last today which was going to be awesome but since he felt bad he was worried.

His eyes drifted shut as he felt her softly run her fingers over his arm. She smiled up at him, reaching to trace his angled jawline. As she reached down to look at the tattooed arm around her waist, her breath sucked in as he saw her name etched into the heart on his arm.

They'd gotten tattoos together a week or so ago. His name was on Emerson's shoulder blade with the phases of the moon surrounding it.

It was an intense tattoo and luckily Andy got a few dedicated to her on his chest as well. She giggled as she ran her fingers over the ink to see that he had bruises from where the needle hit his skin. He was so skinny that tattoos made him bruise.

"What are you giggling about?" He chuckled, cracking his eyes open.

"Nothing, just how cute you are." She smiled. They were on the home stretch of Warped Tour- only a few shows were left and then it was back to California. They had a tour lined up for Canada and the U.S. with Bullet For My Valentine and then they were going to Europe after that. Emerson had already signed on to coming and was pretty excited about it. She'd never been outside of the country and even though she'd miss dance she would get over it.

Juli had accepted that Emerson was going to be part time now. She realized how in love Em was and she was going to let her be with the boy.

Andy needed her with him. His assistant could only do so much when it came to his stress-outs. Emerson put up with them and him and that was necessary for a good show.

Ashley came on the bus, almost throwing up at the "love" fest on the couch. Andy was looking down at Emerson and talking quietly. She hung on to every word he said which made Ashley sick.

"Hey you two." Ashley said, collapsing by Emerson's feet.

"Hey." Andy said, rubbing his forehead.

"Some people are asking to do an interview with you guys." Ashley said.

"God. Both of us?" Andy asked.

"Yeah." Ashley chuckled.

"Fine." He rubbed his head. "You cool with it?"

"Yeah." Emerson smiled, sitting up. Andy followed and laced hands with her. He was still in a tank top, his vest, and jeans so he thought his outfit was okay for an interview. Emerson looked adorable as always in a pair of high waisted shorts and a breezy lavender tank top with her hair piled on her head and earrings dangling from her first and second holes.

They exited the bus and smiled at the group of people who wanted to do an interview. It was three of them and they all had questions in hand. "Hey guys." Andy smiled, his head pounding against his skull. He couldn't understand why his stupid headache wouldn't go away.

"Hey." One of them said. He was a tall dude with glasses and brown hair. There was another guy with tan skin and a balding head along with a pretty girl. "I'm Jeremy and this is Josh and Lilah. We're from Artisan News Service and we'd love to interview the hottest couple on Warped."

"Oh. I-I'm not on Warped.." Emerson chuckled. "Just here with my boyfriend."

"Exactly." Josh said.

"So we have some chairs set up for you guys right here.." Lilah said. Emerson looked up at Andy who only shrugged and squeezed her hand.

They sat down in the two lawn chairs and smiled at the camera in front of them. "Okay, if you guys could say your names and then together say the name of us that would be awesome."

"Alright." Andy nodded, folding his hands in his lap. "You go." She chuckled and nodded.

"Uh- I'm Emerson Carter."

"And I'm Andy Biersack."

Together they said, "And you're watching Artisan News."

"Okay, uh Andy you guys have been on tour for a while now and Emerson you've been with them?" Josh asked.

"Yes." She said, smiling softly.

"How is it being on tour for your first time assumably?"

"Uhm- it's nice. It was kind of a last minute thing. Like the day they left we decided I'd come out for the first two weeks as well since originally it was only planned for me to come out later in the tour so it was last minute." She said, looking up at Andy as he blew out a puff of smoke.

"Oh wow- I didn't know that. Is it weird being on tour with such a successful band?"

"I mean, we met in a situation where I didn't think of Andy as this big celebrity so going in and seeing just how many fans he did have was weird." She chuckled. "It's a little strange to see all the comments on my photos that are saying you know "Oh your not good enough for him!" or whatever but I deal with it."

"Yeah and being real, she's much more attractive than me so.." Andy laughed, taking another puff of his fag. Emerson giggled at his words.

"I think your a very attractive couple." Josh laughed.

"Thanks man." Andy shook his head, smiling.

"So will you be touring with Black Veil Brides from now on?"

"Uhm- yeah I'm set to go on tour with the guys a little while after Warped." She smiled, hoping Andy would get a few questions soon.

"Awesome. Well Andy, we knew that Vegas was an absolute nightmare in terms of heat-"

"Yeah! My shoes melted!" Andy laughed.

"Oh really?" Jeremy chuckled.

"Yeah- well my boots rather. I usually wear like combat boots and I was walking just from our signing to our bus and the sole melted." Andy said, making Emerson laugh and place her hand on his knee. "So now I'm wearing vans out of necessity. It's worked out for me so far but not as much as arch support I've noticed."

"Yeah, you won't get that kind of heat on the east coast." Josh said.

"No the east coast is completely different. It's more like a fifty pound gorilla jumping on your back every time you walk outside kind of heat." Andy laughed.

"So Emerson, your a hip hop dancer correct?" Lilah asked.

"Yes. I dance for Juli Garret back in Los Angeles but I've done a lot of independent stuff, music videos and tours with a few hip hop artists." She replied.

"Any plans to dance for Black Veil Brides." Andy and her both laughed at this.

"I think if we had any music suitable for a hip hop dancer we'd love to have her in a video but unfortunately we're a rock and roll band." He smiled, reaching for her hand.

"Ah I see. So the dance world is about as cut throat as the music world I'm assuming?" Lilah asked.

"Oh yeah." Emerson laughed. "It's a lot of broken promises but eventually you find the right people that can give you what you want. One of the most important things anyone ever said to me was that everyone can be replaced. You may think your the star but if you can't do that turn someone asked you to do and someone else can then..you're shit out of luck."

"And that's exactly how it is in the music world. You know, if you have fans and they want screaming and you can't scream anymore then they're not always going to stick around." Andy said. Emerson looked up at him, a glimmer in her eye. She wondered how she'd gotten so lucky. How she found someone that was not only perfect but thought the same way as her as well.

She was so happy.
