"Can ya finalize this for me and send it to Bemoan and Walters please." Roger mummers placing a stack of papers in front of me. "After that make a call to that fancy restaurant called La' something and make a reservation me and my wife ." Roger gave a wink and walked down the hallway to his office. I slump down in my chair placing my photo frames on the desk. One of me and my best friend and on the fourth of July, A photo of i and my parents and non the less i don't know why i packed it. A photo of me and Andy on the dance floor at our reception.
I scan through the pages when the phone rang. "Alyssa Biersack speaking, Roger Scout office-"
"Ally." My toes flexed as i hear Andy's rasp voice coming through the small speaker.
"What do you want and why are you calling me at work, do you want me to get fired on the first day!" i bellow softly as some co-workers walked by laughing and talking.
"Please come home." he paused. "i want us to be okay again." Is he playing a cosmic joke on me? "Please."
I bit my lower lip, my heart twisting in my chest, feeling i can't breathe. "Andy please." i lowered my head resting my palm against my temple breathing heavily as i utter "I need time."
"Time?" He inquire like he is testing the word. In the background i heard someone yelling his name from frustration. "What we don't have is time Alyssa."
"You were on the verge of punching me Andrew," i seethed between my teeth. "What makes you think i will live in the same damn house as you."
"I punched the wall rather than that pretty face, and i would never hurt you." he breathe. "Even when its tempting." What the hell does that mean?
"What do you want from me?" i plead brushing a single tear away from my cheek.
"I want you to come home."
"I can't do this, not now." i slam the phone shut as my tears just began to pour and pour out of my eyes. Damn it Ally you are at work, buck yourself up jeez!
I straighten myself and brush my hand over my face. "Lets get to work."
"Hello?" i answered softly as i lean back in my chair, my eyes traveling around the outline of the building structure.
"Hey, ya Ally its Mark, i am in LA, wanna have lunch?"
I turn to the clock and and nodded to myself. "Okay, meet me outside in a few, Oh and i am working now at Scout and publishing- we'll talking later about that."
"Got it." I hang up and pulled my phone into my red blazer as i stood up slowly. I grab my bag and stroll towards the main office, knocking a few times i open the door with a small smile. "Grabbing lunch, will be back in an hour."
Roger looked up and smiled. "Oh we are are going to Paris this weekend, to meet with John Castrate, just remember me on the end of this week, i am really bad with dates and well months."
I giggle and nodded slowly. "Of course i will put it in your schedule." i retreat back walking down the stairs, rather leaving the elevator for a lazy day.
A few minutes of waiting outside the vast building; there my brother in law climbed out of a black limo wearing a black three piece suit, his hair all messy like always and his signature stubble beard. "Hi Mark." I gave him a quick hug as he pull his arm around my waist.
"You look good."
Andy's point of view
"Its sounds great." The producer Bob Rock mummer giving a thumbs up to CC as he was done with his drum solo. I pull myself up walking out of the building leaning on the glass tinted side mirror next to Viral records. I pulled out a smoke and placed between my lips slowly lighten it with my red and black lighter. "Hey Andy." Looking up from my glove Juliet stood in front of me, both hands clutching on her sling bag around her shoulder.
"What do you want Juliet?" I ask dryly blowing out the smoke. My eyes on the blue sky rather than the blonde in front of me.
"How are you?"
"Good." I respond bluntly.
"You not going to ask me how i have been?" i lowered my head slowly with a raising brow. "Or not." She shrugged seeing my face expression. "How is Ally?"
"She is fine. What do you want Juliet?" I ask dimly once again.
"Nothing, i uh, am just about to release my new EP, Its called all or nothing."
"You pulling a Taylor Swift on me Jules?"
She blush crimson as i pronounce her nick name. "No, i have to go. Have a good day Andy." She turned around and walked down the path into the studio.
"Doubt it." My best friend Danny mummers with a laugh as he lean next to me. "Ally is a wow girl, you should watch out."
"What do you mean Danny?"
"I went on Facebook-"
"No one Facebook anymore, you know why?" i pause with sarcastic smile. "Cause everyone's parents are on Facebook."
"like i was saying, i went of Facebook," completly ignoring me he pulled out his phone handing it to me. "And i saw this."
A soft chuckle escape my lips as i hand him back his phone. "I am married to her, not you. So why are you friends with her ex?"
"Keeping an eye on him," he laugh patting me on the back. "And being the best friend i am, Rick Nathans is in LA."
My eyes grew wide and so did my anger level. "What the hell is he doing here? i thought i told him to get bent?"
"Well he came back, and i am sure he is ready to take Ally back, and i am also sure she will say yes seeing her dad is on his death bed or whatever."
"Danny the man is in a wheel chair, not his death bed- but whatever," i throw the glove down with frustration. "I need to get my wife back before he ruins everything."
