Joana's P.O.V
I walked in our apartment happy as fuck! I was takeeeen! I would gladly do a happy dance but it would be stupid.. I texted Onyx to know where they were. I was in a so happy mood I wanted to share it with them! I instantly recognized her phone's sound.. Inside.
I froze. Onyx never -like never ever- forgot her phone at home! It was almost more important then her clothes, yes, almost. I walked in my room to send my bag on my bed then walked to the next room. Callie was sleeping like an angel.. Wait! Weren't they supposed to be shopping?! I reluctantly walked to the last room. I knocked slightly but didn't got any reply. Onyx must be there, she couldn't have left Callie alone! So I walked in..

“Onyx!” I yelled, running to her. She was curled up around a pillow, crying. I held her against me, trying to rock her back and forth. But she didn't stop crying.
“What happened? Who hurt you Onyx?!” I asked, trying to make her talk, but she just shook her head. I wiped her tears away and forced her to sit up.
“Calm down.. Breath okay?” she nodded, trying to keep calm. When she could breath again she spoke:
“J.. Jinx.. Is.. Married.” shit.. I forgot to tell her.. How did she know? Did she meet him?
“I.. Who told you?” she looked at me shocked.
“You knew?” I shook my head, well, yes I knew, but not long ago!
“I met him today.. He told me. But who? Who told you? And why are you like this? Didn't you tell me..?” a single tear fall down her cheek.

“I know.. But I still love him. Even if I deny it, even if I tried to fight it with all my might.. I still love him to death Jo'. I..” she sighed, looking down.
“I met Andy.. And he told me..” I pulled her into a hug until she totally calmed down.

“What about going back to the mall to buy things? Today is a sunny day! We should enjoy it! Plus it would be good for Callie!” she reluctantly agreed and we took the child -who was already awake, playing with a teddy bear- and took a taxi to the mall. I really need a car..
Arrived I dragged Onyx from shop to shop and then we bought all we needed as food, drink.. Then we took another taxi to head home. I put everything in place while Onyx made something to eat. Then we ate and put Callie to bed. Tomorrow we had to put Callie in school and Onyx had to find a new job here. She used to work in a music shop so maybe we could find one here?
Me I had to write a part of the dialog for the next week, so I would be working at home or maybe find a park. I like to write in parks, there are trees and children and it gave me a lot of inspiration!

But I had to start as soon as possible, meaning: tonight! So when Onyx and I were done with Callie she went to watch a movie and I went to my room to write. I much preferred to write my own stories and scripts, but it was better than nothing! One day, maybe I'll write a book, or two, but for now I need a job that earn money!

One hour later I heard my phone buzzing.. Who could it be? Nobody had my new phone number except Onyx! Yes, since we arrived, we got new numbers here, it would be way more expansive to keep the ones from England!

'Jinxx: Hey Jo! How have it been? Did they take you?'

I smiled. How did I forgot I gave him my number? Oh yeah! I was too happy! And then I had to make Onyx feel better..

'Joana: Hi! Yes they took me! But I still have to make them happy with my job!'

'Jinxx: I'm glad they did! You used to be an awesome writer, I bet you're even better now.'

'Joana: Thanks, I still have some work before being a good writer..'

'Jinxx: I guess, you should ask Scout to help you out, she's already in the business!'

I sighed, why would I ask Andy's girlfriend to help me? I could do it on my own! For once I was doing something by myself!

'Joana: Thanks, but I'll do it fine :)'

'Jinxx: As you want, I know she don't want to hear about Andy or anything, but I know she used to like you a lot.'

What? What did that mean? Scout? Not wanting to hear from Andy? How was it even possible?!

'Joana: What do you mean? Weren't they dating?'

'Jinxx: You didn't know? Andy and her broke up a few months ago..'

What a weird news..
