Sanctuary

Andy and I woke up wrapped in each other from the previous night's events when we returned from Versalati's. I got up, showered, went through the normal routine of getting in the catsuit and arming myself with every knife I could hold, strapping both guns to my waist and then getting into normal clothes and makeup. I fixed my hair in a big messy bun with a braid on the side and my sweeping black bangs falling over my face. Andy did the same , although it took me much longer to get dressed. His bow and arrow folded up so that he could strap them on under his normal clothes but still access them easily. I was lost in the visuals of the city when I felt two arms snake around my waist and heard the deep raspy voice I loved like a lullaby.
"Are you ready to go out?"
"As I'll ever be."

"I don't like you two. I don't care for young people , and I don't care for goths. Biersack, take the jewelry out of your girl's face and cut her hair and we'll talk about getting some money out of her."
Andy protectively tightened his grip on my hand but kept his stone cold face.
We were in a dark, concrete room, perfumed with the smell of alcohol and different scents of drug smoke. Andy and I were negotiating with two drug dealers and hit men about gaining information on what we needed to know about this human trafficking sale. In return for the information, they wanted me for sex. Andy wasn't having it. He held his ground against these two gorillas of men.
"It's simple, we fuck her for a few hours, you get what you need to know."
"How about coke."
They laughed. "We sell pounds of coke every day. You're boring me. We want the girl."
"Forget it. You tell us everything, we'll make sure you're granted immunity the next time you get busted for dealing."
They looked to each other and nodded, them turned back to Andy.
"We'll tell you everything."
