*6 months after the incident*
Britni's POV
Why does everything hurt so bad? Fuck... I peel open my eyes and sigh. I'm stuck in hospital. Now I remember... That bastard Trevor tried to kill me. I hope Jinxx is ok... I mean all that blood. I reach over and press the button for the nurse and I'm surrounded by doctors instantly. "Ok good you're up. How you feeling?" One asks. "My throats dry and my gut hurts like a fucker, but now I just wanna know if Jeremy is ok." I say and my voice cracks. "Ya he's fine it was just his shoulder. You've been out for 6 months, we didn't know if you were gonna make it." He says again running some tests. I smile as I realize Jinxx is ok. What Ashley? Did he leave me? As the doctors leave I let a tear fall. Of course it was too good to be true. Everyone leaves... I close my eyes and quickly fall asleep.
*3 hour later*
I groan as sunlight hits my face. I prop myself up slowly, it hurts but whatever, it doesn't hurt as much as my heart. Just as I was about to breakdown the door to the room slowly opens. I turn and expect to see more doctors, instead I see a very sunken Ashley. He's dragging his feet and his head is bowed. "Ashy..." I say but it's fairly quiet from me not using my vocal cords in months. "Stop dreaming Purdy..." He growls to himself making your heart break for him. "Ashy." I say again louder though. He lifts his head up and gasps. "Britni!" He whisper running over to me. "I love you so much Britni... I thought I had lost you..." He says quietly as tears form in his eyes. He's standing wearily by the bed so I moved over some and patted the bed weakly. "Can't get rid of me that easily Purdy... I'm a tough bitch." I whisper as he lays down next to me. It feels so good, but I'm freezing. "I know angel... I know." He says wrapping his arms gently around me. "You know Ashley I thought you had left me... Guess I was wrong." I say and he sighs. "I haven't even left the hospital in 2 months. I musta been asleep in the waiting room when you woke up... I'm sorry." He says quietly and I smile snuggling closer to him. "Ash it's not your fault you were asleep. You must be extremely tired... And I'm extremely cold." I say as my teeth start to chatter. He immediately pulls an extra blanket up and snuggles closer. "I am tired, I've barely gotten more then 1 or 2 hours of sleep a day." He says and that's when you notice how sunken his eyes are and how tried, tired, and hollow his features are. "Ashley have you been eating?" I whisper remember his problems. His eyes well with tears, "n-no." I frown but take his hand turning to him. "It's alright... I'm not mad, but we are gonna get through this. I promise... Now I wanna go home." I say and he chuckles. "I'll get the doctor and find out when." He says getting up. "Hurry up... I'm gonna go insane in here." I groan as he smiles walking out the door. He comes back in seconds later with the doctor and a huge grin. "Miss Hill if you can walk you can leave. But I should-" I cut him off by standing and very shakily taking a couple steps to Ashley. I know most people can't walk but I'm not letting anything stop me. "Shit... I'll get the paper work.." He says walking very confused outta the room just as my legs start to give. Ash scoops me up in his arms and sets me on the bed. "Impressive Miss Hill..." He whisper making me smile. I pull his head closer so that our noses are touching. "Kiss me." I whisper as his lips press gently against mine.
