Love Isn't Always Fair

Scarlett's POV

" I love you"

I know I was why past drunk, but Ashley he was sober. Ashley Purdy doesn't love anyone, he only uses them to please his self. When I finally snapped back into reality I found a pair of dark rich brown eyes searching mine for an answer.

"It's okay you don't have to say back." he said getting up

"Wait" he sat back down.

"Could you.... um hold me."

He smiled, moved closer, and snaked his arms around my waist while leaning back. He started to rub my arm with he thumb. I listened to his heart beating, and the sound of him breathing. Slowly I fell asleep.

Time Skip Morning:

I woke up to a pair of tattooed arms still around me something I was not use to. Turning myself around to come face to face with Ashley I stared at him for awhile. I leaned in to kiss his cheek, and as soon as I did an eruptions of Aw's came from the door way waking Ashley up. It was CC, Jinxx, and Jake.

"Is there no such thing as privacy in this house?" he asked groaning.

After multiple times of asking to be alone all three of them left.

"So what do you wanna do to day?" Ashley asked stretching

" I don't care."

"Okay then let's have a beach day."

I froze

"Ok sure, just let me get showed and ready."

Shit. He's going to see my scars. I self harm nobody really knows about it, I haven't done it since I arrived to this house. Last night I almost did it but Ashley came knocking when I finally decided I would do it. Andy hadn't even noticed when we had sex.. maybe it was because he didn't care.

I quickly got showered and changed. Exiting the bathroom I saw Ashley holding something in his hand. Shit. It just hit me that I didn't hide that small thin piece of metal that was my best friend. I decided to play it cool.

"Hey Ashy, what's wrong?" I asked sitting next to him

"Why? Why would you harm something that is so beautiful?"

"Cause I hated that I couldn't be myself, but I stopped when I got here I almost did it last night but you stopped me even if you didn't know it."

He slid it into his pocket.

"Promise me you won't do it again."

"Promise I said hugging him

"Okay enough with the tears lets hit the beach."

So we learn a little about Scarlett's dark secrets... Sorry that this was a sucky chapter.
