Just a friend, nothing more.

-Ashley's POV-

All day long, I was thinking about CC. I couldn't yell at myself anymore for each time that I imagined him asking me to the dance, my feelings and growing crush was undeniable. I swear, sometimes when we were talking today, I thought for sure he was about to ask me. But those moments passed and the final bell had rung a couple minutes ago, leaving me dateless and forever alone. All of a sudden, CC stopped me as I was almost to my car. I turned around immediately at the touch of his hand on my arm.
"Hey, umm, Ashley?" He asked sort of shyly. Huh, that was weird, CC was anything but shy.
"Yeah?"
"You're single, right?" Oh my god, was he going to ask me out?! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, PLEASE do, because I'm not
brave enough to ask you, I thought desperately.
"Yes," I replied, keeping calm on the outside.
"Will you go out with me tomorrow night?" He blurted out.
"YES!" I shouted and hugged him. A few people in the lot stared at us, but we didn't care. CC just hugged me back. "Thank you so much for asking me, I was too terrified to ask you," I told him.
"Really? The only reason I had the courage was because Andy wanted to go out with Jake and we both agreed to ask our crushes today. Well, it was supposed to be this morning, but I chickened out."
"So where will we be going?" I asked, pulling away from the hug and wishing I hadn't a moment later.
"Surprise," CC answered. "Partly because I don't know yet."
"Ok," I laughed as I walked towards my car. "See you tomorrow!" CC blew me a little kiss as I drove away, causing me to grin and blush like an idiot with flowers of joy blooming in my heart.

*text conversation between Andy and Jinxx*

Andy: I have a date on Friday night!! WOO-HOO!!!!
Jinxx: That's great, Andy! Who is she??
Andy: Not a she.
Jinxx: Oh. Who is he??
Andy: Jake.
Jinxx: Our friend?
Andy: Yup. CC's also going out with Ashley. Do you have any advice for where we should go and stuff??
Jinxx: Awww, you and Jake and then CC and Ashley are going to be so cute!! As for the date, hmm... Oh, I have an idea! We could make it a triple date, I could take Sammi, and we could all go bowling!! It's kinda lame, but at least that place has great pizza. We all know how much Jake loves pizza.
Andy: Good idea, I think that will be fun with all six of us! Gtg, but thanks!
Jinxx: You're welcome! *sings* Andy and Jake, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G...
Andy: SHUT UP!!!!
Jinxx: Hehehe... Nope!

-Jinxx's POV-

It was Friday night, 5:00pm, and I was driving by everyone's houses to pick them up, one by one. Sammi was first.
"Hello, my Jinxxy," she greeted me with a quick kiss as she climbed into the front seat.
"Hey, darling," I responded. "You ready for bowling with everyone?"
"Yup. ONWARDS TOWARDS THEIR DWELLING PLACES!" She cried, and I laughed as I hit the gas. I loved her.

CC was next to get in the car.
"Hi, Sammi. Thanks for doing the pick up and drop off, Jinxx."
"No problem," I replied.
"Who are we picking up next?"
"Your date."
"YAY!"

Finally, everyone was piled into the car. Part of the reason I was the driver was because my car was the only one big enough to fit everyone. Andy and Jake were in the way back, CC and Ashley were in the back, and Sammi and I were up front. All of us were pumped up for overrated bowling.
