Just a friend, nothing more.

-Andy's POV-

This all happened a few months ago. The date today was June 6th, the last day of school, and we were all having our last triple date together. Why last? Because my parents go away for buisness a lot of the time, I'm left home alone. Now, they had to leave for the entire summer, as soon as school let out, and I was required to come with them this time. My stuff was all packed already, at this time tomorrow, I'd be in California. Currently, Jake, CC, Ashley, Jinxx, Sammi, and I were all sitting on a park bench enjoying ice cream.
"Ahh, I love summer," Sammi sighed blissfully.
"Me, too," I agreed. "It's just too bad I won't be able to see any of you other than on Skype."
"We're all going to miss you, Andy," Ashley told me. Not as much as I'd miss them, entire states away from my Jakey and all alone. Since we were leaving early tomorrow morning, today was my last chance for goodbyes. I shook my head and chuckled sadly.
"For once, I can't wait for school to start again."
"Careful what you wish for, Andy. That's something serious," CC warned.
"I don't blame him. I can't wait, either. I'm going to miss you the most, Andy, and I know you know it, but still. Even if you can't stay here, I wish I could join you there." There were tears pooling in my poor darling's eyes at just the thought of me leaving him. But that wasn't such a bad idea, him coming to see me.
"Hey, Jake, that's actually not a bad idea!" I exclaimed enthusiastically, jumping up. "Maybe not for the whole summer, but for a week or something! Your family could visit California for a vacation!" His tears faded as he realized I was right. He then caught on to my excitement and stood up as well.
"YES!" We high fived and hugged tightly for a moment before I pecked him on the lips. Jinxx cleared his throat, and I suddenly remembered that we had an audience.
"Oh, sorry," I apologized as we pulled away, conjoined only at the hand.
"It's fine, but now you've gained another point," Jinxx pointed out with a grin, and I groaned.
"Whoops," Jake said as we sat back down. A couple months ago, we started a contest between the couples. Every time someone showed PDA to their significant other, they added another point to their score. By the end of the month, whoever had the most points had to go do something embarrassing or stupid in public. It was just a fun challenge, that thankfully, CC and Ashley usually lost. Unfortunately, Jake and I were now in the lead. Because it wasn't the end of the month, we instead extended May's deadline due to the fact that I was leaving. The afternoon was coming to a close, and before we all said our farewells, Jake and I were forced to run around a supermarket screaming "the British are coming, the British are coming!" While pushing one another in shopping carts. Needless to say, we were politely and firmly asked to leave the store and preferably not return. Don't get me wrong, it was crazy fun, but it ended all too quickly. I had said all my goodbyes to everyone except Jake.
"I'm going to miss you so much," I whispered as I hugged him, tears making a reappearance for both of us.
"I can't stand the thought of being away from you for three whole months. I love you, Andy. More than almost anything, and I wish I could go with you," he responded, and I only hugged him tighter.
"Don't worry, baby. I'll be back before you know it," I replied softly, and we made out passionately one last time.
"I think that counts as like, 5 points," CC said afterward. I rolled my eyes, blowing Jake one last kiss as I climbed into the car and drove away from my only friends and the boyfriend who meant everything to me. All were people I depended upon in daily life. Now, I had to survive three months without them.

I had a request to make it longer, so I hope everyone liked this little change up in what's going on! This should extend the plot and story some.
