The Overprotective One

I stumbled slightly from the party. I was walking down the streets trying to find the tour bus. By this point I had about two or so more drinks and I was slightly drunk. I saw purple sweat pants running down the blocks towards me. Then I noticed her sobs, her phone was close to face as if she was calling someone. I frowned lightly and she crashed into me. We were about halfway in between the street lamps and I could tell she didn't know who I was.

"Sorry, I am just trying to get around the corner. Sorry, it won't happen..." I cut her off by shushing her slightly and grabbing her forearms. She tried to pull away as she tensed up.

"It's only me, Nyx." I purred lightly. I loosened my grip on her arms and she flung herself into me her arms wrapping themselves around my torso. My chest was bare excluding the leather vest I had on. She put her face in between my collarbone and my famous outlaw tattoo. She cried into my almost warpaint bare chest as I kissed her hair. Unlike her brother she was shorter, but I was maybe about 4 or 5 inches taller than she was. I put my arms around the upper part of her back. I lightly rubbed her tremor filled back and kept my hands above her bra line. I looked out behind her. Andy was maybe three blocks away at the point and I could almost her him growling as he bared his white teeth. He picked up his pace, going from jogging to running.

I hissed through my teeth and Nyx looked up at me. I got the best idea in a split second. A large smile covered my face and I leaned into Nyx. I let my hands glide down over her bra and I left my hands on the small of her back. I pulled her into me and kissed her light pink lips. I put every once of my being into kissing her as gently as possible and keeping my hands where they were. She didn't move her lips against mine, not even pushing them back. She didn't reject the kiss which I guess was better than nothing. I whimpered lightly, my resolve slowly fading, and I pulled away. I looked at her brother, still not close enough to do anything and I smiled lightly.

"Why are you crying my love?" I made the last word louder just slightly. I stared into Nyx's sad blue eyes. They had turned dark. She began to mumble her brothers name, but Andy had already ripped her from my arms. Andy bared his teeth again his lip curling higher and closer to touching his nose. He came closer into my face.

"You don't know where to stop do you Ash?"

"Nope I guess not. But maybe you should leave her with me." I nodded towards Nyx who was still sobbing behind her brother. "She did run away run away from you. Now look at her. She is crying because of you too." I lowered my voice so he could barely hear me. "What a great brother you are." Something I said finally got under his skin and into his chest. Andy and I have always been the alpha male types, and he wasn't going to drop this because I worked my way into his lifeless heart. He placed his cold hand in the center of my chest and pushed me back slightly. Andy reached back and took a hold of the first thing he could find without breaking the stare down with me, his sisters wrist. She whimpered. I knew what he had grabbed. I had seen the scars on her wrists before. My arm shot out to help her, to even just loosen Andy's grip. Andy raised his chin slightly the way a king would if he were looking upon a peasant. I stepped back and lowered my arm. I refused to break his gaze. Andy loosened his grip but replaced it with his nails digging into the hoodie and she whimpered as it sounded like it was hurting her more. Andy dragged her back the way they both came from and I followed them only to find where the bus was.

The next morning, tensions were high. Even Jake, Jinxx, and CC could tell. Today was a day off for us and we sat in the little tour bus living room. Nyx usually came out of the room at about 9ish, no matter how late she had stayed up. At 12:30 when Andy usually got up, and came out to hang with us, the door still hadn't opened. CC finally broke the silence. "What the fuck happened...? Why is everyone so quiet and freaky deaky?" Just then the door opened to a pissed Andy and a depressed Nyx. She stayed on his heels as he exited their shared bunk.

"Yes, ASHLEY," He raised his voice saying my name. "What the FUCK happened?" He practically screamed the word fuck. I smiled wide as the rest if the band practically broke their necks to look at me so they could get the latest drama. Andy was never mad at me, I was his best friend. I batted my long eyelashes innocently.

"Where should I start?" Andy growled. He was getting more and more pissed with each second. CC shuddered next to me. No one really liked the sound of Andy growling. "Well, after the show," I said flipping my fringe from my face. "I went and hung out with some of the other bands who were at the block party. I felt really tired and after one drink, I went back to the bus. I came onto the bus and your sister was squealing and giggling because Spongebob was on the t.v." Everyone now looked at a very red Nyx. "Honestly, I laughed. Cause I mean, innocence." I let the last word roll off my tongue and I almost made a purring sound. If I was flirting with a girl right now, and I had said anything in the way I just had now, the girl would be trying to shove her tongue down my throat. I smirked lightly as Nyx's whole face and some of her neck turned red. "Then she curled up in a ball utterly embarrassed. I felt bad so I went to go hug her. Then you showed up, Andy, and took Nyx back to your bunks. Then you screamed at her about how I was a man whore and I was just looking to knock her up and leave her. Then they showed up and took me back to the block party. I had maybe two more drinks, and it was starting to get late. So I was trying to find my way back to the bus, and she bumped into me. For a moment she couldn't tell who I was. Then once she figured that out she hugged me. She was crying fairly hard, so I hugged her and tried to calm her down. I rubbed her back, the top of it don't get your panties suck in your ass Andy. Then once you came closer, just to piss you off, I slid my hands down to where if they were only 2 inches lower, I could have grabbed her ass. Then I kissed her. She didn't really kiss back but she didn't reject me either." Jinxx, Jake and CC's mouths were wide open. I had touched, even kissed Nyx. Nyx had left I soon as I started tell about her hugging me. I think everyone, including myself, was waiting for Andy to come and tear my head from my neck. Andy was shaking with pure anger. His hands where clinched into tight fists. His knuckles looked as if they were about to tear through his skin. "Oh but now, this is the good part." The guys were on the edge of the couch and if Andy wasn't there, they might have gotten on the floor, stood on their knees, and begged me to tell them the rest. "I asked her what was wrong, and she just said your name Andy." I leaned back into the couch and I crossed my legs. "How does that make you feel? You made your sister cry, and run away from you. What did you do to her?" Andy's lip trembled and smiled. I stood up, and I stood next to him. I whispered quietly, feeling sorrow in my heart as I said it, "Did you watch her last night? Did you see her try and escape her skin? Did you check to make sure she didn't try? No I bet you didn't." His eyes widened with fear. "It's sad you didn't notice. She needs you but you are to busy trying to push everyone from her. And if you will excuse me I am going to check on her."

"Don't you dare..." His voice broke.

"Watch me." I purred.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. THAT TOOK FOREVER. I wrote this last night but my internet was like, "NOPE I AM A BITCH!!!" and the it tried to commit suicide. So I saved that in Word and I just Ctrl+C' Ctrl+V'd it. So yeah. Plus this really long. Lots of dialogue. Sorry about the lateness but many updates today hopefully. Also, I will warn thee when smut will be in the chapter. I feel like it seems they never could have been best friends. Flashback next chapter? Comment if you liked it.
