VIV’S P.O.V

No, he can’t go, not yet, they couldn’t have gotten a record deal that quick!

I don’t want him to leave, I would fall apart if he left, he has been the one keeping me sane all this time, knowing that when I wake up he will be right next door, or even right next to me.

CC is right next to me now, bundling me up in his arms, brushing my hair with his hands, trying to calm me down

"I don’t want to go, not yet, not until I could have figured something out that benefited both of us" he whispers, his hands now traveling down to my waist, he promised he wouldn’t leave me, he promised

*FLASHBACK*

Viv had just seen CC for the first time in weeks at the hospital and she flung her arms around him and he did the same.

He kissed her

"I m-missed you" he repeats, Viv didn’t hear it the first time because she was so focused on CC, in all his healed glory.

"Don’t ever leave me, p-promise?" She asks, trembling at the sight of him.

"I promise, Never ever will I leave you again, I love you too much to leave you for a second" he replies.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

CC’S P.O.V

‘Y-you’re… leaving me. R-really leaving me’ she whispers, and then she starts to sob quietly.

Tears are starting to sting in my eyes now

"Shh, babe don’t cry, please"

She keeps on crying, not loudly though

"Stop Shh, babe, your pretty eyes will go red. Stop please. Please" I whisper-yell.

Nothing works.

I do the one thing I can do.

I kiss her.

I can feel the tears running down my face as we pull apart.

I swipe roughly at mine then I carefully wipe hers away and kiss her eyelids.

She’s not crying now.

She looks up at me and says sadly

"You’re l-leaving me, after you p-p-promised you wouldn’t" she gulps.

"I know, I know, believe me, babe, I don’t want to leave you either, but you are finishing college, I won’t let you move with me" I whisper, hugging her and talking into her neck.

She shudders a bit as she exhales.

"I know" is all she says and then she walks into her room.
