Life of Dakota
Chapter Six.
*Dakota's POV*
I wake up to see the bright lights shining in my eyes. Where am I? I completely forgot where I am? What is that strong smell? It smells like... smoke? Eugh. I fully open my eyes, despite the brightness of the 'room'. I rub my eyes and look around. Oh yeah. I'm in a aeroplane... going to America. That dream I had, felt so real... it felt like all those bad things that happened in the last two weeks were just a bad nightmare and that mum and dad were still here. I wish they were still alive. I check the time. Wow I slept for 6 hours? I must of been really exhausted then.
I sniff the air and smell a strong stench of smoke and cigarettes. What the hell? I turn my head around. And to my surprise I see ANDY! ANDY FUCKING BIERSACK! 'Oh my god' I squealed. That explains the cigarettes smell. Normally if I ever did see Andy or any of the BVB members I wouldn't get this excited... but because of what happened... I feel like music has taken over my life... and has made me forget about the terrible things that's happened recently... well only for a while. Plus Black Veil Brides kinda helped cheer me up, which has probably turned me into a maniac that loves BVB o-o
I think I said 'Oh my god' quite louder than I thought because now Andy is awake. Oops. He stirs for a second then opens his eyes. "Hey there." He said in his deep voice. Woah his eyes are so blue! OMG. "H-hi." I reply in a shy voice. "What's your name? If you don't mind me asking?" He asked in a calm yet peculiar tone. "It's okay... my name is Dakota" I reply with a small smile. And for the rest of the journey to America, Andy and I spoke to each other and got to know each other, like all the general questions. I somehow even told him my sad story about my parents death. Why the hell did I even mention it to him? He's a stranger. Plus I NEVER blurt anything so personal to me, to a stranger... well not so much of a stranger, I guess o-o
"So where are you heading to, in America?" He asks trying not to be nosy. "To my new foster home. I'm meeting them today." I reply. "What? You haven't met them? That's crazy!" He said in shock. "I know. But I'm hoping they're a nice family." I said. "Do you even know where to go after the plane lands?" He asks. "Yes...I guess". I said in a dull tone. To be honest, I only have their address... I'm just going to have to get a cab.
***TIME LAPSE***
That journey was so long, but entertaining I guess :) I said goodbye to Andy, then grabbed my suitcase and bag from the luggage compartment and then left the airport. So this was going to be a new start for me here in Ohio. Wonder what it's going to be like. I walk up to the side of the street and stick my hand out to get a cab. I get inside and wait to arrive at my new foster family's home.
