Life of Dakota

Monday morning.... (Sorry didnt know what to write after the last scene)

*Dakota's POV*

The alarm went off at 7:00am. I groaned as i didnt want to be disturbed from my happy dream. The happy dream with my parents and sister... I sighed. I switched off the alarm and got out of bed. First day of school. I sighed. I dont want to go, i wish i was still in London with my best mates. I felt bad for leaving everyone without saying goodbye. I miss them...

I went into the bathroom and started to get ready and do my hair. I for make-up, i just added a thin line of eye liner around my eyes and applied some ultra red lipstick to match the colour of my hair. Then all I had left to do was get into my uniform. Eugh. I prefer to wear my own clothes! I ran back to my bedroom and got changed into my new uniform. As soon as u was ready, i checked myself in the mirror. Hmm... I guess it looks alright- White polo shirt, black skirt and a red tie. Thank god we can wear any shoes... So i decided to wear my favourite black combat boots. Since it was warm today i decided not to wear my blazor. I was satisfied with my look... Didnt want to make a bad impression to everyone- and i certainly didnt want people thinking i was a slag or a slut (reason why i didnt put my skirt up to my boobs unlike some slags do in my old school!)


I went downstairs to eat breakfast when all of a sudden i hears someone wolf whistle behind me. "Damn girl, you look so hot!" Grinned.. Ashley?! I blushed. He was just being his usual flirty self. "Er thanks." I said shyly. Then Andy came in and stared at both of us. He glared at Ashley and said to me "Me and Ashley will be down with the guys all the day, we're starting our new album." Cool so what does this mean? "So Juliet will be picking you up. She has something special planned for you for tonight." Andy added whilst giving me a big smile. I'm guessing he's hoping me and Juliet will get on while he's away? I smiled at Andy and gave him an enthusiastic nod. I can't wait to meet Juliet! I've been so worked up about finally being able to see my new foster mum! I walked to the kitchen to eat some toast.

As soon as i finished my toast, i grabbed my black veil brides rucksack and said my goodbyes to Andy and Ashley. Soon after i left the house and walked to school (it was only a 5 minute walk).

***TIME LAPSE***

I sighed as soon as i got to the entrance of the school. What if i get bullied? What if i'm not 'accepted' here? Tears filled my eyes. I felt so scared now. Dont Dakota! Be brave and dont worry about what people think. Be yourself said an encouraging voice in my head. Okay. Its time. I pushed open the door and encountered many shocked/surprised faces. What? I gained a few glares which didnt really bother me. I only felt sensitive over words.. fortunately, i received some positive whispers. I smiled as i heard a compliment from someone about how my hair was so red and bright.

I carried on walking down the hallway when a girl pulled me to the side. All the commotion and whispers around me stopped. I came face to face with a girl, around my age? She had gorgeous purple hair and she had a cute piercing on her nose. She even rocked out the uniform. Wow. "Hey there, what's your name? I'm Savannah, but everyone calls me Sav for short." She said with a friendly smile on her face. "Hi, i'm Dakota." I replied with a smile to hide my shyness. I only 'come out of my shell' when i get to know someone more. But when i first meet someone i'm usually so shy. I don't know why. Omg haha that rhymes! "Cool name, wanna hang out with us? We're in the same class because i knew there was going to be a new girl and yeah your the new girl." She chuckled. "Um yeah sure thanks." I said gratefully.This school wasn't actually so bad. I smiled to myself. She introduced me to three other people. Their names were,Ethan (Sav's boyfriend), Wiley, and Finn. They all seemed nice as they greeted me by saying welcome to the school and all that stuff. This was so much better than i thought it would be!
