The Truth
Jake’s POV
As soon as Andy opened the door to the van all of the colour drained out of Kellin’s face. “Can you get her inside? Me and Andy need to talk.”
We carefully carried Flick out of the van and in to the warehouse. She started to come around.
“Hey guys, she’s coming round.” I called to the others. I saw an expression of relief race across everyone’s faces. She carefully sat up while holding her hand to her head.
“Ugh, what happened? Where are Andy and Ashley?” She asked while looking around.
“Don’t worry Flick, Ash is here and Andy is outside talking to Kellin.”CC said, trying to reassure her. About two seconds later Kellin walked in followed by Andy. Kellin looked relieved where as Andy looked like he had seen a ghost. ‘Hmm what’s up with him?’ I thought.
“Come on Flick let’s get you cleaned up.” Kellin said. Him, CC, Jinxx and Ashley all went with Flick so I decided I would stay in the main part of the warehouse. I sat down on the floor for a few minutes, remembering the day’s events when I heard a cry for help. I stood back up and made my way over to the door of the warehouse. I heard another cry for help; it sounded a lot like Andy so I poked my head around the door. There he was, pinned to the floor by two zombies. What the fuck am I meant to do. I just stood there frozen to the spot. “Jake, snap out of it.” Andy yelled. He had tears streaming down his face. I ran back in to the warehouse and grabbed the gun that was always kept by the door. I ran back to Andy, aimed at the zombies and pulled the trigger. They both fell to the ground. I cautiously grabbed Andy’s hand and pulled him up off of the floor.
“You ok Andy? I asked
“Yeah I think so. That was a close one.” He said with a nervous smile. I could tell he was hiding something.
“What are you hiding Andy?” I asked him suspiciously. His eyes widened.
“N-nothing Jake.” He replied, now he was definitely hiding something.
“I know you Biersack, there’s something bothering you.” I think he knew I wouldn’t drop the subject.
“Jake...Kellin thinks that I hurt Flick on purpose.” Sadness filled his eyes.
“Wait, what?” I couldn’t keep the shock off my face.
“I just don’t know what made him think that. I would never do that Jake, I like Flick... a lot.”
“If I were you Andy, I would tell Flick how you feel.”
“Your right Jake.” He smiled and stood up. We both walked back in to the warehouse and departed to our separate rooms.
Flick’s POV
I woke up surrounded by the guys. “Ughh what happened?” I asked.
“You hit your head.” Ashley said quietly.
“Oh.” I looked around to see that Andy wasn’t there; I think I felt something for Andy. “Where’s Andy?
“Umm, I think he’s outside.” Jinxx answered.
“Hey Flick, let’s go get you cleaned up.” Kellin said.
“Ok.” I walked over towards the other room with Kellin supporting me on one side and CC supporting me on the other. Ashley and Jinxx followed close behind.
When I was finally clean I returned to the room that I shared with Andy and Ashley. I saw Andy sitting on the floor. When he saw me he stood up.
“Hey Flick.” He said sheepishly. I could see that he kinda blamed himself for what happened to me.
“Hey Andy.” I replied.
“Flick can I tell you something?” I could tell he was nervous about something.
“Sure, anything.” I replied
“I like you Flick... a lot.” He said while taking a step forward. I smiled.
“I like you to Andy. I really do.” I replied.
