Daddy's Little Girl

I wanted to get out of home, I can't stand my mother yelling at my drunken father and my little brother looking at all of it. I sighed as I knocked the door to my best friend's house. Some tall man came to answer it.

"Hey, you most be a friend of Christie's..", he said as he let me in. I nodded.
"She's upstairs, by the way..I'm her uncle, Travis", we shook hands and I went upstairs. Now that I realize it, I had never seen Chritie's dad before..Weird. I didn't even knock, I got in just to find one of the most beautiful scenes ever. Seth and Christie cuddling.

"Sorry..Romeo and Juliet, but I have some plans for today", I said as I got between them.
"Hey Lou", Christie said as she hugged me.
"What you guys were doing?", I asked.
"Watching Batman", Seth said. I turned to look at Christie.
"When are you going to leave it?"
"Never!" We laughed. I loved to spend time with Seth and Christina. I know Seth likes her, it's all in that face of his.
"Hey Seth! Where's Eddie?"
He sighed and looked at the ceiling. "Practice"
"Any idea of when he's coming back?" He shrugged.
"Christie, by the way, that dude down there is really your uncle?", I asked. She nodded and looked in a good mood as well. I wonder what Seth did to her.
"So what are we doing? And please, no watching Batman", I said.
"Let's go downstairs, my uncle just install a flat screen in the backyard.."
"First a pool, not a flat screen..Awesome", Seth said. We got out of the room and to the backyard, everything looked awesome. Travis was watching a movie.
"Finshed unpacking?", Christie asked as she sat next to him. We took monster from the fridge and sat in the picnic table to talk while they were making their conversation.

"You already told her?", I asked. He shook his head.
"You'll never know if you don't tell her, Seth"
"We both know she looks up at me as a friend, Lola.."
"That's how you think she looks up at you"
"What she will want with someone like me?"
"You're her best friend.."
"And I will always be.."

I rolled my eyes and wonder when Seth is going to think positive..I bet is not even hard..All he has to do is wait for when they're alone and tell her. I know Christie won't be able to break his heart and that's all his afraid of..

I doubt Seth will ever tell Christina..but I have a few surprises for you on the chapters to come..
