Sammi's P.O.V

I went upstairs and knocked in Christina's door, she told me to get in..I got in and she was already changed into something else (Christina's Outfit). Jinxx told me to choose everything that was in her room (Christina's Room), since he didn't know what she liked, so I went and tried to do my best.
"Do you like your new room?", I asked.
She nodded, "I like it and it seems really nice"
"I'm glad.."
"But something is missing"
"What?"
"Where you guys left the boxes?"
"Downstairs in the basement..let me show you"
We got out of her room, we went down the stairs, and walked to the basement. I opened the door for her and turned on the light as I followed her, because I wanted to know what she was looking for. She started to look through several boxes, until she got a frame out.
"Here it is.."
"What is it?"
"A picture of my mom...is the only one I have though", she said as she standed up.
"Can I see it?", I asked as I extended my hand.
She nodded and handed it to me.
"It's the same picture Jinxx used to keep in the boxes from his closet"
"He did?"
"And he had baby pictures of you in his guitar case"
"They already told me that.."
"Have you forgive your father?", I asked. I really didn't want to bring the topic, but I really need to know.
She shrugged, "I hugged him because I missed him and what I lived wasn't paradise to be honest.."
"Your dad is basically worried about your health and he wants to make sure you eat..."
"I'm fine, Sammi..thanks for worrying"
"After all, school is coming over and I bet you'll love your new school", I said as I handed her a pamphlet.
"It looks awesome...arts school"
"Your dad told me you like music, so.."
"So, you're going to be doing everything he should be doing?", she asked.
"He's busy..he's soon going on tour and he really needs a hand"
"When I'll be able to go back to Webster City?"
"After your dad comes from tour.."
"Okay...I'll go back to my room"
"Why so fast? What about if we have a drink at the pool?"
"I'm really not in the mood for talking, Sammi..", she said as she went up the stairs.
I don't know how Jinxx expects me to do this...the girl doesn't even wants me. I know she misses her mom and I'm never going to be the half of a mother to her, but she needs to know that she can count on me and not push me away like she had done with everybody else. I admit, I was mad when I found out what Jinxx had been hiding me for all this years, but I sat down to think and realized he did it for a good reason. But I'm not going to push her away, like everybody else did. The doorbell rang and I went to get it...Once I opened the door, there was standing no one else but Amy.
"Hey Amy", I said as I hugged her.
She stepped in, "How's my little angel?"
"She's in her bedroom and doesn't wants to talk to anyone right now"
"Not even her godmother?"
I shrugged, "I don't know.."
"I know what Andy did to her..the guys told me"
"They told me too", I said as we sat together in the couch.
"My son is not like that.."
"We all know is Juliet doing the influence...", I said.
"To be honest, I had never like her and she had hurt him so many times...and the last time I saw Andy so happy was when he came from a dinner with Christina"
"My daughter?"
She nodded, "For some reason, I think he likes her"
"But Christina doesn't likes him...after everything that happened I doubt she's going to forgive him..plus he wasn't there when she arrived, does that leaves a good impression?"
"I know...but I'm going to tell him to talk with her"
"It's only if she wants to.."
"I know"
"I think she doesn't likes me..", I said.
"Why wouldn't she like you?", she asked.
I shrugged, "Maybe she thinks I'm replacing her mother"
"If I know Christina, there's no one that can replace her mother...she carries her wherever she goes and she even looks like her"
"I bet she was a very beautiful woman.."
She nodded, "She was.."
"I hope Christina snaps out of this, soon"
"She's going to need time"
"I know, Amy.."
"Sammi...", I heard a soft voice calling.
"Christina?", I asked as I standed up and walked to the stairs.
"Can I take a walk?"
"Sure, baby...but you're taking your escorts"
She nodded and walked out the house, where the escorts are going to join her.
"Jinxx is doing good in placing security and stuff", Amy said.
I nodded, "He doesn't wants her to go through the same thing, neither do I"
"It was a good choice"
I hope Christina realizes how much I care about her...I want to be a good step-mother, at least. I don't want to be like those who appear in the movies...after all, I really love her and I can't have kids because of the Edward syndrome and even if I have a kid, it will die in maybe 30 days or less...and I want to do things right, let her know that I love her and that I want her to count on me for anything. I know I'll never replace her mother, but Jessica is up there, she's looking after us and she knows that I'm trying to do the right thing and help her.
"Where are Jessica's pictures?", Amy asked.
"We keep them in the basement..", I said.
"But why?!", she asked as she standed up.
"Well, I thought it'll be a good start if she didn't had the pictures around"
"You guys have to be crazy! I bet you don't even know how she's feeling, because you guys are suppressing the memory of her mother"
I sighed, "I'm so sorry, Amy...I'm new at this"
"Show me where those pictures are.."
I nodded, "Follow me"
Amy started to place the pictures all over the house. Not only of Jessica, but also of her whole family...I smiled, knowing this will make her feel better. I'm not jealous of Jessica, I'm glad she made Jinxx happy and in top of that gave him a child. I grabbed one of the pictures and kissed it.
"Thank you for everything, Jessie", I said. "And I hope you can help me with Christina"
