Daddy's Little Girl

2 WEEKS LATER

I was starting to grow nervous as I got inside the house. I was on time for lunch, since I could smell mom's cuisine. I walked to the kitchen and mom jumped at me.

"Jeremy!!"
"Hey mom. Where's dad?"
"He's out with Travis, so how things are going around L.A?"
"Well, I guess that great.."
"What's going on, son?"
"Where's Christina?"
"She'll come back with her pack soon, they are out"
"Her pack?"
"Her friends..", mom said chuckling.
"Oh.."
"She spends her life with them, though"
"Do you think she'll accept me after all this years?"

She shrugged and I don't blame her for not being sure about it. My phone buzzed and I reached for it.

Andy: Hey, how things are going around home?
Jinxx: Wonderful! Enjoying vacations?
Andy: Not so far, Juliet is being annoying
Jinxx: Good luck. Are you breaking up with her?
Andy: Youre kidding me, right?! I love her more than anything or anyone in this world!
Jinxx: Okay..Hope you open your eyes soon, Andrew.
Andy: What you mean with that?

I wasn't in the mood to deal with him, right now I need to deal with my daughter. I went upstairs and found her bedroom. The last time I saw her bedroom, it was a nursery. There were band posters in her walls, band albums, batman comics, DVD's and action figures if Andy was here, he would say he just met his other half. I smiled as I looked at a picture of us in her desk. I sighed as I sat in her couch. I can't believe I've been absent all this years. The door opened and saw my only child standing there in shock.

"Christina..", I said standing up and walking to her.
"Stay away from me.."
"Can't a get a hug from my child?" She shook her head and walked pass me.
"You don't deserve it". The words hurted me, but I'll keep insisting.
"I know I hurted you and I still am. I'm sorry, Christie. I love you and your mom is witness of it, I'm sorry for being the worst father ever alive and I am so sorry for leaving you, sweetie. I never meant everything of that to happen and I understand if you hate me right now, but all I need is a second chance, honey, a second chance"
"After all this years you think I will give you a second chance, Jinxx? I won't..not even if your life depends on it"
"Christie, I want to make up those years I lost"
"Don't you think it's a little bit late for that?"
"No, sweetie. It's not"

I know she was trying to hold back tears, but she failed. I walked to her and holded her.

"You have no idea what I was going through..you weren't here when I needed you", she said between tears.
"But I am now and that's all that matters. Give me another chance, my angel". She nodded and I kissed her forehead. "Now stop crying, I hate seeing daddy's baby crying", I said wiping her tears away.
"I never hated you, I still keep sweet memories with me", she said as she turned to look at the picture in her wall.
"I see. You look just like your mother". Jessica will be proud if she could only see her daughter.
"People tell me that a lot", she said chuckling.

We sat in her couch to talk, until she fell asleep. She told me her adventures and I told her mine. I went downstairs and a girl started to scream.

"You most be Lola, right?", I asked walking to her. She nodded.
"I'm Jinxx"
"I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!"
"What's happening down here?", my daughter asked as she walked to me.
"Why are you not fangirling with me? It's Jinxx!"
"Because he's my father. Why will I fangirl over my dad?"
"DAD?!" We nodded.
"AWESOME! My best friend has a celebrity as dad, just awesome!"
I rolled my eyes and smiled. "I'm coming back in a hour, okay?", I said as I kissed Christie's forehead.
"Where are you going?", she asked.
"Going out with your uncle"
"Okay..."

I went upstairs to get ready. I love Christina so much, I will go through the desert without food or water and back, if I survive, just for her.
