Love Is A Strong Word

Savannah's POV

I got off work at 4:15 and I was really sad. I don't want to go home because I know for a fact my dad will be home. He doesn't like the fact that I work here. He thinks I should be going to collage at Yale University and becoming a lawyer. That is not what I want to do. I want to become a musician. I can play the guitar and I sing. My other best friend Travis tells me I'm good but he's probably just saying that because he's my friend. Speaking of Travis, I forgot I had to drive him and his fiance to Black Veil Bride's concert tonight. I would do anything to go but i just didn't have enough money. Maybe I would see Andy. The time went by and it was 4:15. I took off my apron and hat and walked to my car. I looked at my phone and I got a text from my dad.

Dad: Get your ass home right now!

Great. He's pissed off at me for probably something I didn't do.

Savannah: Ok I'm coming home now...

I put my phone away and drove home. I better get prepared for what's going to happen. I approached the driveway and reluctantly got out. I put my phone in my back pocket and went into my house. My dad was holding my sketchbook and I immediately knew what he saw. "CARE TO EXPLAIN THIS?!" He was holding up a picture I drew of a soul that was escaping a body. I stood there quietly. I couldn't speak. He came over to me and burned me with his cigarette. I began to cry. "YOU DESERVE IT!" I snatched my sketchbook and ran upstairs. I slammed my door shut and locked it. I just sat on my bed and cried. I then looked at my bedside table. I looked at my blade and grabbed it. I then put it against my skin. All I could think about is how horrible my life was. Then I thought about Andy. His beautiful blue eyes. I then heard a knock on my door. "Hey Sav, it's me." It was Travis. I put my blade away and put my bracelet over my cut. I wiped away my tears and opened the door. Travis was there with Jenny his fiance. Me, Violet, and Travis have been known as the Three Musketeers since the third grade. I'm pretty good friends with Jenny but not like best friends. Nobody knows about my dad abusing me. Not even Violet and Travis. I wasn't ready to tell anyone yet. "You ready to go?" Travis asked me. I put my hair down and brushed it. I reapplied my eyeliner and walked out the bathroom. "I'm ready." We walked out of the house and into my car. Travis sat in the front seat while Jenny sat in the back. Travis looked at my arm and saw the burn. "Hey Savannah, what's that from?" He asked. "Oh, I burned my self in the panini press at work." I said. Lying right to his face. He nodded his head and I pulled out of the driveway. Off we go! I pulled up to the pavilion and it was packed! "Pick you guys up at 8?" i asked. Travis nodded his head and they got out. Damn I wish I could go. I saw there was a cafe next to the pavilion so I parked my car and got out. I was walking when I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw those two pairs of blue eyes. Andy.

Andy's POV

I couldn't get Savannah out of my head! She was all I could think about. I wonder if she is going to the show tonight? I mean she did say she was a fan. "ANDY!" Jinxx yelled bringing me back to reality. "Dude you've been like this ever since you saw that girl!" He said. "That girl is Savannah." I said. "Show is in an hour. Get ready!" CC said. I got up and got ready. It takes me around a half hour to get ready. After I was done, I decided I should go smoke a cigarette. I walked out and I bumped into someone. I looked down and saw those pair of gorgeous green eyes. "Savannah?" "Yeah hi Andy." It was her. "Sorry." She said. "It's fine. If anything it's my fault. Are you coming to the show?" She shook her head. "I wish. I didn't have enough money to buy a ticket. I just brought my friends to see the show." She said. "Why don't you come with me? You can watch the show backstage." Her face lit up. "Really?! Thank you!" She gave me a hug. "Your welcome." Then I suddenly remembered seeing her scars. I have to ask about them sooner or later. When we released our hug, I looked at her arm. I saw a huge burn. "What happened?" I asked. She looked at her feet and didn't speak. I took her hand. "Savannah you can tell me anything. I won't judge you." I told her. She looked at me and tears began to fill her eyes. It killed me to see her like this. She sighed. "Well, this is really hard to say because you are going to be the only one that would know. I haven't told my best friends and I've known them since third grade." She said. Wow. Now I feel special! "My dad. Well. He abuses me." She began to cry. I pulled her into a hug and she began to cry into my chest. "I'm so sorry." I said. She looked up at me. "It's not your fault. It's mine for being a no good bitch." Hearing her say that made my heart break. "Savannah, you are not a no good bitch. You're a beautiful, nice girl who doesn't deserve this shit." I told her. She looked at me. "Really?" I nodded my head. "That's the nicest thing any guy has ever said to me." She was smiling. I smiled back. "We should get to the show." I said. She wiped away her tears. I held out my hand and she took it and we walked in. I opened the door to the dressing room and the guys were there. "Hey Savannah!" Ashley said. "How do you guys know my name?" She asked. "Well Andy has been talking and thinking about you ever since we left Panera Bread." CC said. She blushed. I really want to punch CC in the face right now. "Guys showtime in 2 minutes." Our stage manager said. Savannah walked with us backstage. We were getting ready to go on stage. "Good luck!" Savannah said. We all smiled at her. I still couldn't get the fact that her own father abuses her. We walked on stage and the crowd cheered. "I'd like to dedicate this sing to our new friend Savannah!" I yelled into the mic. The crowd cheered. Then we started to play Let You Down. We ended our show with Fallen Angels. We then walked off stage and Savannah was standing there with a smile on her face. I went to hug her and she backed away. "Ew your all sweaty!" She said. I laughed then we went into the dressing room. "Hey I gotta go. I need to find my friends." "Why don't we bring them backstage?" Jake asked. We all nodded our heads. "Ok!" She said dialing a number. "Hey Travis, you want to meet Black Veil Brides?" "Ok see you in a few." She hung up. "They're coming." "Ok let's go tell the security guard to let them in." I said. Me and Savannah walked out and we waited for her friends. I heard the name Travis so that must mean it's a guy. I hope she doesn't already have a boyfriend! I think I might have feelings for her but I'm not sure. She then got up and went to a tall guy with red hair and a girl with long blonde hair. "Andy meet Travis and his fiance Jenny." Phew she wasn't dating him. "Hey." I said. We then walked to the dressing room to see the rest of the guys. We all sat there talking for about an hour. "I think we should go. It was nice meeting you guys." Travis said. They got up and Savannah came up and hugged me. "Remember if you need me,call me, I don't even care if it's 3 in the morning. I'll be here for you." I told her. She looked up and smiled. "Thanks Andy." She said. I nodded my head. Then she walked out of the building. I'm just happy today was our last show so we would stay here.
