It's not over.

"The roof?" Andy questioned, unsure of his lover's sanity.
Alice rolled her eyes and urged him up the stairs, "YES! Come on! We don't have time for this." She half whispered, half screamed. The couple charged up the staircase that was really only there so workers could fix ventilation systems, but had proven itself to be very very useful to Alice over the years. Once they reached the top, Alice frantically searched for Gerard, upon finding him, she ran full speed to him.
"G!" She squealed, "Are you okay?" The red haired singer smiled at his best friend and reached out, cupping her face in his hand,
"I'm okay. I got out before Rose could really hurt me. She did do this to me though.." Gerard trailed off and lifted his shirt, revealing a large bruise on his rib cage, Alice sat back on her haunches in shock, lightly pressing her hand by the side of his bruise,
"W-what happened?" She stammered, tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe that this girl, her best friend since first grade, had not only betrayed her, but threatened to kill her, and had just hurt the man that was like a brother to them.
Gerard sighed, "It's fine. She just shoved me and I fell backwards and ran into the door." He smiled reassuringly at the frail girl. She shook her head at him angrily,
"G, doorknobs aren't this high." The singer groaned in defeat.
"Alright alright. She hit me with a bat. There's more bruises all over my back. I just didn't want to worry you."
Alice began shaking with sobs then. She retracted from Gerard and held herself together.
"I'm sorry." Her words just barely a whisper. Gerard, in turn, smiled at her,
"It's okay. I'm okay princess." He began to stand up slowly and make his way over to a stunned Andy who was watching the two talk with a horrified look on his face. The older singer of the two looked at Andy coldly.
"I need you to help us."
"What do I need to do?" The lanky man countered.
"You need to create a diversion so we can get Alice out of here. I'll get her to the coffee shop and then come get you. I know it's risky, leaving you here alone, but I don't think I'm in any position to stall Rose."
Andy nodded in agreement, "Whatever it takes."

Again sorry about the short chapter and lack of updates but school started last week and it's been chaos! I've had a little bit of a break so I was able to write this up for you lovely people so I apologize and please know that there won't be much more to the story and there will not be a sequel.
