Look Up To Me

I looked up at Ronnie as I spoke, "Wait I knew you when I was younger?" I said to him as he nodded and stopped putting his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, wait you don;t remeber?" He asked me as I nodded yet again and spoke, "All I remember was Ashley coming to pick me up and taking me around here, but thats the only memory I have from when I was little, I felt like I had no family. " I told Ronnie, all I could hope was that he wasn't going to start feelings sorry for me, that was the last thing I needed. He sighed and looked at me, "Really? Because Ashley would talk about you nonstop until your Mom put you with your Grandparents and he began torn thinking that you died in the car crash along with your Dad." I stopped walking as the last part of his sentace ran through my mind, "What. No. No no, my Dad is alive he's just on a five year trip to Washington like he always is." I told Ronnie as he stopped walking and saw my face frowned, "Wait so your Mom didn't tell you any of this?!" He asked me looking me straight in the eyes as I watched Ashley walk up to us, "Hey Ry." He said to me looking at me with a worried look, "Y..yeah?" I said to him turning around as Ronnie explained what happened and Ashley stared at me with wide eyes.

And the next thing I knew was that his arms were wrapped around me and I was crying into his chest.
