Lisa's POV

Time was a weird thing. It felt like it was only yesterday I threw away my last needle after me and Raven made a promise to never do anything destructive again. I had also left the small community of junkies I had managed to become a part of.

It hadn't actually been yesterday I threw away my needles, it had been a month. I had to admit, the urges to continue my addiction had been horrible. But I had made Raven to promise not to ever get back together with her dick boyfriend.
It was totally worth it.

The cold air hit us in the face as we left our small messy apartment. We were heading for our usual spot in the park. a dirty little bench in the middle off the empty field. It was the perfect spot to sit if you wanted to look at all the obnoxious people living in this small god forbidden town.
This town, how do I even describe it? You know those towns you see in american movies? where everything seem perfect and everyone has perfect lives, but really the perfect family guy is having an affair with the lady next door, their sweet daughter is a whore and their son in on drugs. Yeah, it was like that. Horrible really.

Raven dragged me down on our bench, i looked over at her. her mouth was moving, so she was talking. great.

"what?" I said, i didn't really care about the fact that she's in the middle of a sentence.
"You haven't been listening have you?" Raven sighed and looked at me like i just killed her puppy.
"...Sorry..." i mumbled. I looked at Raven as she pulled up her pack off cancer sticks. I really could not stand them. How could she expect me to get over my addiction if she was just going to continue with hers? I opened my mouth to tell her to please throw away the venom before she intoxicate everyone in this god damn park, when we heard a deep voice behind us.

"Got light?"
