Chapter 5
*Desirees POV*
I woke up in the hospital with a bandaged arm....what happened last night? I looked around the room and saw Riley sleeping in one chair her mascara smudged with tears, did I cause that? Fuck! Im so stupid. I looked around the room some more and saw Andy, why was he here? Oh ya last night he asked me out, i said yes, why didnt I have the courage to tell him my cancer came back. He woke up and he looked at me with those blue icey eyes.
*Andys POV*
Desiree was looking right at me, god she is so beautiful why would she do this to herself? "Des?" She looked at me "ya" she said her voice was so weak and fragile "why did you do this to yourself?" I said. She started crying, I ran over there "shhh I'm sorry please dont cry you dont have to tell me right now you can tell me when your ready" I said. She looked at me her eyes are so beautiful, they also tell a story of so much pain, "I have cancer" she said, my heart dropped. How could my beautiful baby have cancer?! "What did the doctor say?" I said. "That i have a good chance if i go through kemo, but Andy i dont want to have to go through that again!!! I'll be alone again I hate being alone" she said. I hugged her tight and she started sobbing into my chest until she fell asleep. I carefully got into the bed and she just hugged on tighter not wanting to let go "I love you Des" I said. I started to drift to sleep I'll never let go Des I promise. You'll never be alone again.
