I Can't Love Him...Can I?
Chapter 4
I was standing at the merch table, my mouth hanging open as I watched A Day To Remember perform, when this really cute guy with grey eyes and long, black hair walked up to the table.
"Can I get you anything?" I asked, trying not to make it sound to obvious I was fantasizing about what his name could be. He looked like a Jacob, or maybe a Chris?
"Yeah can I have a Juliet Simms t-shirt in a medium please?" He asked, bringing me out of my day dream. Of course he liked Juliet, probably had a major crush on her as well. My chance of even associating with him outside of this transaction just disappeared.
"That'll be 23.50." I said, taking his credit card. I got a glimpse of his license when he opened his wallet. Jake. I wasn't too far off!
"Thank you and have a nice day!" I turned my back and waited for him to walk away, but, when I turned back around, he was still standing there.
"Did I forget to give you something?" I asked.
"I didn't even want this shirt. My friends dared me to come over and talk to you, since I've been staring at you all day. The names Jake."
Am I dreaming? I thought.
"Nah, I'm pretty sure you're awake." He chuckled.
"Shit! Sorry, I didn't mean to say that out loud! And I'm Alexa, Juliet's step sister."
"Well, Alexa, here's my number. Maybe we can hang out some time?"
"Sure!" I beamed as he walked away. I looked over my shoulder and saw Andy glaring in my direction. What was wrong with him?
Andy's POV
I had just gone over to the merch tent to give Lex a Red Bull, when I saw her talking to a guy who looked a lot like I did during the We Stitch These Wounds Era. It was obvious he was flirting with Alexa. I mean, she is gorgeous, and an amazing friend.
All of a sudden, I saw him give her his phone number, and I saw her face light up. She hasn't been this happy in a long time.
I started feeling queasy, like there was a giant knot in my stomach. I saw Lex glance over at me, and I was paralyzed with this sickening feeling, as if Alexa was replacing me.
"Babe, you okay?" Juliet asked as she appeared from inside the truck. She had been gone for a while, and I'm not sure where she had been.
"Fine." I snapped. What just happened to me?
