The Wretched and The Devine

"Well, I grew up in a small town and then in 4th grade I moved here." Hannah said. "I had a normal life, good parents, great friends, and a wonderful brother. I was considered popular and preppy. Everybody looked up to me and wanted to be friends with me. One day I bumped into Emily and we became friends."

"My story is boring , but I guess if I have to tell it I will." Emily said. "I've lived here my whole life. I started to play the drums and I listened to a lot of music. When Hannah and I became friends i noticed she had an interest in music. So that's where the idea for a band came from."

"Umm...well...I grew up with my dad. My mom and him got divorced. Her name is Lisa and she wasn't nice to my dad and I. She was constantly hurting me and I never told my dad until she hit my face with a glass bottle and he found out. In middle school I was bullied by everyone under the sun..."

"Everybody except Emily and I." Hannah said. "We saw her getting bullied and helped her."

"But I was still depressed and suicidal. They did their best but could never help me. My dad knew i was suicidal and he said he knew I was strong and I could make it through. He got me into music and art." I said, showing them my hands. They were stained with different colors of spraypaint. "Then Hannah asked me if I wanted to be in their band. She said she didn't know anyone else who could sing well and was punk rock, so she asked me. Every once and a while I get suicidal thoughts and cut....but I'm trying my best."

The lady came and took us to our seats in the back. She took our drink orders and then left.

"She looks familiar." Jake said.

"Maybe that's because she is-" Andy started.

"Shut up." Ashley said. Hannah giggled and he glared at her.

She brought the check to us and cleared off the table. I reached for it but Andy grabbed it before I could. I pulled out my wallet, but he stopped me.

"Nope. You guys aren't paying."

"But-"

"No 'but's'." Andy said. I sighed and put my wallet away. He paid and we walked out. I gave them our real address and turned on the radio. "Can I plug my phone in?"

"Sure."

I plugged my phone in and put my music on shuffle. The first song that came on was Die for You and I started singing. I heard the guys join in. A couple songs went by and we ended up at our house.

"Thanks for the ride." I said.

"You're welcome." Andy replied.

I got out and Emily and Hannah followed.i waved bye and started to walk inside. I heard someone walk up behind me. Then I heard more footsteps. I turned around and saw Jinxx, Jake, and CC walking towards us.

"I figured that i would be seeing you soon, but just incase I don't..." CC said as he wrote down his number on my hand. I smiled to myself. Ash yelled at them to hurry up and they started to walk back.

"CC?" I asked.

He turned around and faced me. "Yeah?"

"I-" Then I was cut off by CC's lips as they crashed down onto mine.

"I know." he said, he kissed me again and the guys whistled, very loudly. I felt myself blush. CC smiled. I stood dumbstruck as CC walked back to Andy's car. They drove off and I still just stood there. Finally I walked inside and when I did, Emily and Hannah started clapping. My cheeks heated up and I smiled shyly.
