"FAMILY MEETING!!!" Cc hollered from what i'm guessing was from the kitchen since it sounded as if he was slamming together pans. Traipsing down the stairs, Ash scuffing my heels as i walked just to be a little shit. As the gang entered the living room all clueless to what was going on, settling between Jake and Ashley digging my elbow slightly into his ribs. Some people may find it weird that we show our sibling love by teasing and being little shits to each other but it's whatever. As Andy trotted in a sly grin settling on his shaped face, walking over he sat down on my lap squishing me into the leather interior much to the displeasure of Ashley as my elbow dug deeper into his side as Jake just laughed.
"Hey have you guys seen Cass?" Andy joked, however he soon sprang up when my nailed nipped his lower back. "Oh you're gonna get it!" he announced throwing me over his shoulder then spinning me down so that i lay on the couch my head on Ashley's lap and legs on Jake. Beginning to tickle my sides Jake soon joined in tickling my feet while Ashley ticked under my neck leaving Andy to tickle my sides leaving me withering and screaming for them to stop my sides aching from my uncontrollable laughter.
"Guys. GUYS!" CC yelled getting our attention a serious look on his usually grinning face making us stop, Andy pulling me off of the guys and onto his lap.
"Why are we all gathered?" Veronicka pondered from her place on Jinxx's knee, hey when did she walk in?
"Okay so Ruby, my girlfriend.." at that we all ooohed making Dad laugh but continue further, "Anyway she's will be here any second so please be yourself but behave that means Ashley no sexual comments or innuendo and Nick and Cass no interrogation." Nodding our heads the door bell rang sending Dad to go get the door. "She better not be a bitch," Andy whispered into my ear making me smile, "nah she'll be fine if not i'll knock er' out!" i replied in a hushed tone just so the gazelle could hear. Curious looks circled around the room when a hearty laugh left Andy's lips at my comment just as Ruby and Dad returned.
"Guys this is Ruby, Ruby this is Jake, Andy, Ashley, Jinxx and you've met Cassara and Veronicka" CC voiced pointing at each guy as he spoke their names then finally gesturing to me and Nicky a cocked smile as we both gave a slight wave.
"Hey i'm Ruby but i guess you already know that!" she spoke nervously, but i mean who wouldn't be nervous meeting your boyfriends family is hard enough but she's meeting her boyfriends daughters and band mates sheesh! Anyway her hair now changed from the once blonde to a light brunette and cut slightly shorter but still way past her shoulders.

Once the awkward tension had weared off we were all busy laughing our head of as Ashley went into exaggerated detail about the time CC ran around naked in the snow on tour but turns out that a bunch of fans could see. "Oh you should of seen his face it was like a tomato," Ashley chuckled barely able to breathe. "Or the time he almost burnt the house down making cake for Jinxx's birthday a few weeks ago, Holy Shit it was so funny Cass came running down the stairs with a bucket of water." Andy butted in. "At least i tried to do something." Dad pointed out from his seat beside Ruby his arm lazily draped around her shoulders.
"True point!" i piped in, "But you did end up getting drunk later with Jinxx and sang Sweet Home Alabama to the neighbours! God you were slurring and everything i mean it was Jinxx's birthday he had a pass to get slaughtered but you that was just down right hilarious." A chorus of laughter followed. "We should've done that for your birthday Ash but you just wanted beer and strippers!" i continued casting my mind back to last weekend when Ashley came home absolutely paralytic claiming he was the king and that because it was his birthday it was his rules so he slept in the bath with his duvet. Ruby laughing along like a part of the family made me really warm up to her especially the fact that she wasn't all over Dad that it was unbearable, and the fact that she made witty remarks and teased him made it even better and I'm 90% sure Veronicka felt the same.

As the clock ticked 9 pm and we had all eaten take out Ruby left, after we all said goodbye. When CC returned to the living room where the family had been crowded for hours on end thoughts clouded his head worrying if his family liked her? Luckily enough as he entered all the guys expressed that they though she was "cool" and that he had picked a good one as they vacated the room stretching their limbs. However what mattered most was the approval from his two pride and joy, sending a questioning look their way the two shared a glance then Veronicka began speaking, "she's great, i give you my A okay." With that she pulled him into a hug whispering into his ear then left out the doors.
"Whatcha think Cass?"
"Yeah Ruby seems great i mean she bonded with everyone well and wasn't all over you to the fact that it was uncomfortable so yeah i'm happy, plus she has good music taste so that's extra brownie points." i added resulting in CC to beam making myself grin, "Love you Cass," he spoke pulling me into a bear hug. "You too old man, you too!"

"SHIT!! DAD WE NEED TO GO TO THE MALL NOW!!" I yelled Veronicka joining in as we ran down the stairs. "Yeah okay, whatcha needing so bad!" he asked as he grabbed his car keys. "The dance is tomorrow night and we haven't got dresses." Veronicka hurried obviously more concerned than i was in this matter. "Right okay we better go then! and who is taking you ?" "Jack! Dad we've already been over this" Veronicka began when CC glanced at me mouthing 'who?' to which i mouthed back 'brunette and good kid' Nodding his head he replied okay to Veronicka. Half way there Veronicka decided that she wanted to shop with Rebecca so she got dropped of at her house leaving just the two of us.

"Who's taking you to the dance Bambi?" Dad asked.
"Alex the brunette one, he was around the other day." i replied thinking nothing of it as i fiddled with the radio stations.
"Oh okay, you sure he's not like Austin i mean i thought he was pretty cool but nope." CC began when i cut him off, "Can we not, Austin is a dick but Alex is different i promise." Settling into the leather seat, my seatbelt wrapped around me i clicked on the stereo panic! at the disco beginning to blare causing myself to begin to dramatically mime. In the middle of my rave Dad turned down the stereo causing me to moan.
"Cass i want to speak to you about something serious." Dad spoke his voice low. Oh shit am i in trouble..what have i done. I dyed Ashley's top pink, spiked Jinxx's cereal with tobasco and filled Jake's pillow with whipped cream because he used all the hot water but that's not that bad..right? "Now Cassara Uh... i don't know how to do this but now that you're getting older you will be getting more interested in boys.." Oh god this isn't happening "And uh.. with that you uhh try new things and that means that.."
"No nope nope nope Dad this isn't happening we are NOT having this conversation."
"Thank god holy shit that was awkward." He voiced followed by a slight laugh resulting in myself self joining in in hope to rid the awkward tension.
"Plus if i have any questions i can just ask good ole Uncle Ash," i giggled loving as dad screwed up his face at the thought.

Pulling into the crowded mall we shopped for a good two hours myself not taking a fancy to any of the dresses leaving Dad in a strop and myself in a pickle. "I hate this one!" i yelled out to Dad who was sat on a plush chair outside my changing room door. "You know you could at least show me one!" he shouted back probably getting curious or dirty looks from busy mothers at his appearance. Tugging at the teal fabric that gripped my skin i let out a huff, 17 th dress and i'm still not happy, and nope definitely not this one i thought pulling it from my body. Picking up the next one my phone dinged causing myself to pick it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Cassara what's this big emergency you have been bombarding my phone with" Juliet spoke.
"I gotta find a dress for the dance tomorrow and so far can't find any and Dad's getting stressed and so am i and..."
"Listen i know i great shop for you okay go to the small CD store down by Forever 21 and then..." After listing me a set of directions i said thanks and hung up throwing my clothes back on my body as i charged out of the changing room dragging dad with me as we headed for that direction.

"YESSS!" Punching the air in happiness i smoothed the royal blue fabric down as Dad yelled to show him. Opening the door he gasped his eyes prickling with tears as he gazed at my appearance. "Awe my baby girl is growing up!" he spoke his voice hoarse making me chuckle and pull him into a hug, "You look beautiful Cass!" he whispered into my hair making me beam. Going back into the cubical i drank in my appearance the royal blue fabric hugging my figure but flowing out at the hips and to the floor, two blue straps holding the dress on my shoulders however leaving the top of my back bare as the dress scooped down. Taking my eyes away i redressed myself in my clothes and placed the dress in a bag, Dad paying for it we were on our way. "You're gonna be stunning." He spoke handing me the bag to carry as we headed back to the car, my smile radiating off my face.
