Our pain will shine our light to, those who understand

Settling into my bed, my copious amount of pillow sprawled around me i closed my eyes, dreading the school i had to go to in 9 hours time. Glancing at the gift i had wrapped and left on the desk i smiled to myself, he'll love it. Slowly drifting in and out of slumber, my mind leading me astray into a land of dreams. Running my hand along the bed post, the cooling metal soothing my overheated hand i was on the brink of sleep when i heard a rattle outside my window. Sitting up right in my bed, my heart beating a mile a minute i let out a shaky breathe. For one i am not too keen on the dark and two from the nine full seasons of supernatural i have watched i was not too fond of creepy noises outside either. Leaning over slowly i reached for my lamp. Flicking the switch the light illuminated the room leaving a shadowy figure outside. Sliding out of my bed as the figure rattled the door handle i snatched my ipod charger. Feeing the breeze of the crisp air hit my flesh i braced myself as the shadowed figure entered my room. Springing to life i swung the charger at the figure sending him to the ground. Running to my door i flicked on the light to find not some creep on my floor but my best friend. Instead of alerting the guys i ran over to find blood running down his head from a small wound i had made. "Gee Austin you trying to give me a heart attack? What are you doing here at 12 am?" Pushing his body off of the ground, despite his bloody head he stood by the balcony door. Fixing his leather jacket and wiping his head he spoke up, looking me straight in the eye "Dad's on a hunting trip, hasn't been home in a few days." Chuckling at his childish behaviour despite how cool it was i grabbed my clothes. "One minute then...Dean" Sending Austin a wink i slipped into my en-suit. Shaking off my pyjamas i shrugged on my plaid shirt, jeans and combats, leaving the bathroom i snagged the present, slipping it into my pocket as i climbed out of the warm house. Once my feet where back on the ground where they where mean't to be we rushed into the night. Now out of my neighbourhood i stopped in my tracks. "You like her" Austin teased as he pulled out the keys dangling in front of my eyes. "How?" i stuttered. "My Dad knows a guy and yeah.." Pain flashing quickly in his emerald eyes at the thought of his father but as soon replaced by a smile. "Come on i have somewhere to show you"
An hour later, my eyes where blindfolded since it was apparently a surprise i felt the tires slip onto dirt. Where the hell was he taking me?
"Hey Aus how did you get a license so quickly?"
"Who said anything about a license babe?" Even though i couldn't see, the smirk was evident in his voice, making a giggle escape my lips. The car coming to a stop my stomach doing somersaults i was soon escorted out of the car. Hearing the crunch of dirt and twigs under my feet i was soon taken further into the unknown. The smell of pine and dirt danced through the breeze and the once silence was filled with the sound of running water. As the path i presumed i was on started to get steeper causing me to grip onto Austin's muscular arms that wrapped around my waist.
"If i trip and land in water i will kill you Austin."
"You give a lot of death threats for being a skinny 5 ft 4 teenage girl." This caused me to laugh at how true it was. Coming to a hault, my blindfold was soon removed. Turing around to face the view behind me i was speechless.
Before my very eyes was a beautiful lake, the reflection of the starry sky cast above us covered its surface. Surrounding the lake was a dense forest, the crisp leaves in all their glory as the orangy, red's burst from the branches. A series of rocks lead up to an astonishing waterfall where the water trickled into small pools. Spinning on the balls of my feet i engulfed Austin in a bone crushing hug. Quickly pulling off our shoes we trudged up the slippery rocks, sitting at the mouth of the waterfall. Running my hand in the cool water i felt at peace. Swinging my legs over the edge, letting my toes splash in the dark water making the refection of the night sky ripple i sighed, content. At the corner of my eye i could spy Austin's gaze on my but my eyes did not flicker at him, i was too preoccupied gazing at the stars and moon above, my love for astrology shining through. Sliding my hand into my pocket i retrieved the gift holding it up to Austin. "Happy Birthday by the way, i would of given it to you earlier but i though i should wait to the right moment." The look of awe on Austin's face was nothing that could be described. Slowly peeling the wrapping paper away he found an envelope. Opening the envelope he found two small pieces of paper. Quickly reading what they had to say his face began to shine like the sun. "You've got to be kidding me, is this real?" "Yeah! only the best of my.." but before i could finish the paper had been placed on the rocks and i was pulled into a hug. This though as not a full proof plan as when Austin came to hug me we fell over the edge. Crashing into the lake at full force i soon emerged at the surface not even stunned since the waterfall was only like 4 meters higher than the water level. Scanning the water for Austin i was out of luck. Feeling a tug on my leg i was soon under the water when i felt a hand slither around my waist pulling me to the surface once again. Bursting out into laughter i gazed into the familiar emeralds before me, making me gasp at the beauty. As quick as the fall his lips crashed onto mine pulling me closer sending chills through me. Pulling back for air i began to smile like i never had before. Splashing Austin our once intimate moment soon changed to a childish water fight. Now completely soaked, my hair looking like rat's tails we swam to the surface. Laying down on the grass as Aus collected his gift of plane tickets and VIP passes/tickets to meet and see ATL he soon joined me on the grass where we stayed, gazing at the stars for hours.
Feeling a tap to my shoulder i opened my eyes finding that i had fallen asleep on the grass. The outline of Austin's face moved out of the way, letting me see the sight before me. Pressed against Austin's body we watched as the sun peaked out from the thin horizon, casting fiery oranges and red's into the sky. What felt like seconds later the sun was now high in the sky letting a small breeze carry the fallen leaves around us.
"Hey we better get back it's almost 6 am" Nodding my head we headed back to the car. Reaching my house quicker than i would of liked i once again said happy birthday and thank you, i left. Jogging up to the tree situated outside my balcony i climbed. As i reached the top i sent a wave to Austin then entered my room. Pulling off my damp clothing i threw them into the washing basket then clambered back into my bed hoping to at least get half an hour before i was awoken by the sounds of my alarm clock.

I don't know about you but i LOVE this chapter, it was so fun to write and Austin + Cas = OTP!
