Don't Lean on Me

“So you just want to break up?!” Justin said as he let go of my hand.

“No! I never said that!” I looked into his eyes, with mine tearing up.

I blinked a couple times to make them disappear but the warm tears just ended up falling down my face. He tried to brush them away; I jerked back not wanting him to touch me.

“Well you’re implying it!” He sighed and looked at me. “Goodbye Misty” With that he walked away.

I was crushed. I gave my all to him, why would he just leave like that?! I stumbled back to my house in an angry rage running into my room, slamming the door behind me. Running my hands through my hair I scream and kick the wall. How could I be so stupid and let someone in who would just hurt me, My parents weren’t home, they never are. My mom is always gone helping other people and my dad is at work and my brother is at school, so I’m home alone most of the day. I grab my headphones and put on knives and pens walking out side. I’m supposed to be doing my chores but I didn’t feel like it! I walk down the street with the music blasting in my ears my head down watching my feet as I walk. I didn’t know where I was going but I was going there. Not seeing where I was going I ran into a tall figure knocking me to the ground.

“I’m so sorry, are you okay?” He spoke calmly in a deep voice.

Letting out his hand to help me up, I took held and stood up brushing myself off

“Yeah I’m fine...” I looked at him seeing the bluest of eyes I have ever seen in my life.

“uh, Hi I’m Andy” He looks down at me a little and smiles.

“I am Misty, sorry for running into you I’m kind of having an off day.” I laughed quietly and walked around him.

“Hey do you want to get some coffee?” Andy asks turning around to face me.

I know that this probably wasn’t a very good idea but how bad can it be.

“Sure.” I smile and walk next to him

We were sitting in the coffee shop laughing and having a great time, then Andy asked me one of the questions that I hated to answer.

“So tell me about you Misty” He said it with such a sweet smile and his eyes looked so interested I had to say something, so I told the truth just a little downgraded.

“Umm, Well I don’t talk to my family much, I’m a quite person, I mostly listen to music and write songs. Other things…” I zoned out looking at someone trying to remember who they were, I laughed and yelled at the person

“Victoria!!!” I jumped up pulling Andy with me.

“Come on you have to meet my best friend!!” I yelled running to her almost giving everyone there a heart attack.

Victoria and Andy looked at each other for a moment then Andy spoke.

“Are you lesbian?” He asked.

“Are you gay?” She replied

“Touché, Nice to meet you. I’m Andy.” He said giving his hand out to shake, Victoria took it and shook.

I took both their hands and brought them back to our table. We sat down. Andy and Victoria seem to get along. See Victoria isn’t like me at all. She doesn’t listen to the music I listen to or dress the way I do. But that’s okay she is still my best friend.
Andy and I listened to her talk and talk, while she was talking Andy was playing footsies with me. Andy looked at his watch and then at me.

“I’m really sorry, But I have to go… Can I have your number?” He asked politely

I smiled and with and nodded I went to grab the phone but with a swift movement Victoria jerked it out of my hand and put her number in. Then gave it to me and I placed my number in his phone. He smiled at me and walked out

“Text me!” Victoria yelled while he was walking out.

I looked at her quietly, with a million things in my head building. I just wanted to scream at her. But I stayed quite.

“So He was cute!!” Victoria yelled
