“So we had a technical difficulty at the apartment.” I was video chatting with Andy, inside the hotel suite that my parents had paid for. Rebel was at the end of the bed asleep, Ben had brought him by. I insisted on going to Andy’s but my parents wanted Sammi, Katelyn and I to be in a place where guests could be monitored.

“What technical difficulty?” Andy asked with a smirk. “A broken sink or something?”

“No more like open crime scene.” I answered.

“What?!” Andy exclaimed.

“Well, Will thought it would be awesome to trash the apartment while we were gone, so my parents decided to call in some of their detective friends to help them get him on all charges possible.” I answered.

“Fuckin asshole. Just wait until I’m back.” He said sounding pissed.

I smiled, “You don’t need to waste your time on him. Besides you don’t need that type of trouble.”

“What charges can they bring up on him?” Andy asked not letting the subject go.

I sighed, “I don’t know. The detectives haven’t told us.”

“Don’t play dumb Riley.” Andy said outright. “You grew up with some of the top LA attorneys, and your friend is a pre-law student. You’ve picked things up, you’re not dumb.”

“Breaking and entering and vandalism. Those are only misdemeanor charges. Probably just fines or what not.” I answered. “We might be able to get him on harassment but that only earns him a restraining order. But then he could get me on assault because of the whole punching him. That probably won’t stick because of the whole breaking and entering and vandalism thing.”

“So you’re telling me that he’s going to get a slap on the wrist?” Andy asked.

I nodded, “Yeah that’s what I’m saying.”

“Take Ben, Danny or Sammi with you if you go anywhere.” Andy responded.

“I can take care of myself, Andy.” I felt annoyed. Everyone acting like I couldn’t defend myself or take care of myself. And I was annoyed and pissed at Will. At the fact that he was so childish to pull a stunt like that. He just reached a new low.

“I know you can take care of yourself, it’s just nice to know that there is someone else there that can help keep an eye on you.”

“Can we just get off of the subject for the moment?” I asked wanting to get off of the subject. Andy didn’t say anything so I just continued. “So my parents are talking with me again and they want to get to know you and come to a show.”

“You’re parents want to get to know me and come to a show?” Andy said amused.

I nodded, “Yeah, Sammi and I were figuring that they could hang out side stage at the next LA show.”

“Will they be able to handle it?”

I laughed, “I’m not sure.”

“The guys are coming home in a few days. Shouldn’t we throw a party or something?” Katelyn asked. We were at the beach with Danny, Ben, Sammi and Juliet.

“Andy and I are having dinner with mine and his parents the day after.” I answered.

“Doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t have a little fun.” Katelyn answered. “Are you guys in?”

“I’m always in for a good party.” Danny answered.

“I’m in.” Ben replied

“I’m going to have to see if Jinxx is up for it.” Sammi chimed in.

“I have a gig and then I have to prepare for my voice auditions.” Juliet answered.

“What time do we have to be at the auditions?” I asked Juliet. The guys were coming home in three days, Andy’s parents were coming in, in four days and that was the same day as the dinner and then Juliet’s audition was the day after.

“Eight in the morning.” She answered.

“So are you and Andy going to be free to hang at all?” Katelyn chimed in.

“I don’t know Katelyn.” I replied. “Andy’s parents are coming in to help us find a place and then there’s the tour that’s coming up.”

“Oh, so you’re just going to cozy up to your boyfriend the whole time and not hang out with your friends.” Katelyn commented sounding annoyed.

“No I’m having dinner with mine and his parents, supporting a friend at an audition and finding a place to live with my boyfriend. All of that before we have to go on tour again. So excuse me if I don’t have time to ‘hang’. I’m a little stressed from the whole Will thing and only having a short amount of time to do so many things. So just get off of my back about hanging out, please.”

“Chick fight?” Danny said looking from me to Katelyn.

“Glad to see you have your priorities straight.” Katelyn answered. “Choosing a guy over your friend? You’re just like every other stupid girl out there.”

“I’m the stupid girl? I’m sorry but I have my priorities straight. I’m sorry that I would rather do more mature things like get a place with my boyfriend and make up with my parents than party.” I stood up from where I was sitting. “I’m leaving; do you want to come Ben?” I said remembering that Andy didn’t want me to go anywhere without someone else.

“Oh right you’re boy toy doesn’t want you to go anywhere without anyone because you obviously can’t defend yourself.” Katelyn chimed in.

“Yeah, I’ll go with you.” Ben answered before I could say anything back to Katelyn.

“I’ll come also.” Juliet said getting up from her seat.

“Are you okay?” Juliet asked as we walked to the car.

I nodded, “Yeah I’m fine. Thanks for coming with me.”

“Well she hates me to begin with so I have really no reason to stay if you’re not there.” Ben answered. “Besides I don’t really like her either.”

Juliet chuckled, “I don’t think she likes me much either.”

I shrugged my shoulders, “I don’t know what her problem is but I’m just going to be mature about it and not talk about her behind her back.”

“Does that mean that we have to be mature about it also?” Ben said not sounding too enthused. “Because I have a whole shit load of stuff that I can say.”

“I didn’t know that you could be mature.” Juliet commented.
