Puppy
Coming out of the interview I was pissed. The dude was a sexist asshole.
“What an absolute fuck-tard.” I fumed as soon as I got into the vehicle.
“Fuck-tard?” Andy asked an amused smile interrupting his pissed off look.
“Yes, fuck-tard. He’s too dumb to be classified as an Asshole.” I answered. “Treating me like a piece of ass and a pair of tits. I told you that I didn’t want to go to the dumb interview.” I put my feet up on the dash and jabbed at the radio buttons, trying to find a suitable channel for my mood.
“Hey, just because you’re mad at the fuck-tard doesn’t mean you should take it out on my new car.” After taking the challenger back to the rent-a-car place Andy had decided that he wanted one just like it. So he went out and bought one.
“I’m intelligent right? We have intelligent conversations. Or is it just all in my mind?” I said looking at him, not even acknowledging what he said.
“You’re intelligent that dude was just a jackass. I should have punched him.” Andy replied.
“That’s the last thing we need in the papers. ‘Black Veil Brides Front Man Punches Reporter’.” I answered. “You totally owe me big time.”
“What?” He asked. “Why do I owe you?”
“Because you forced me to go. I told you I didn’t want to.” I answered.
“How was I to know that the dude was going to be a jerk?”
“I think you owe me two puppies.” I said with a smirk.
Andy laughed, “Then I guess we’re getting a cat.”
“One puppy it is!”

“Andy wake up!” I yelled jumping on the bed. I was ready and dressed and he was still in bed. “Andrew Dennis Biersack!”
“What?” He asked looking up at me. He looked a bit annoyed. Now he knows how I feel when he wakes me up in the morning. “How the hell are you ready before me? What time is it?” He asked picking up his phone and squinting at it. “It’s nine in the morning, Riley. What are you doing up?”
“One word Andy…puppy.” I answered kneeling down on the bed. I bent down and gave him a quick kiss and smiled at him. I was excited.
“Seriously?” Andy rolled over and put my pillow over his face.
“Andy get your ass up or I’m going to push you out of bed.” I answered taking my pillow from him. I threw it on the floor so that he couldn’t grab for it again.
“You wouldn’t dare.” He said putting his head under his pillow.
“Wanna bet?” I mumbled and then pushed him onto the floor.
“You’re a bitch.” Andy said sitting up. “I think I hit my elbow.” He said looking at his elbow.
I leaned down to look at him. “I’m sorry! Are you okay?”
He smirked and pulled me off of the bed so that I landed beside him. “Jerk I could have gotten hurt.”
“Aww poor baby.” Andy teased and stood up. I kicked him in the ass, causing him to laugh as he walked away.

We went to the local SPCA because there was a specific puppy that I was interested in. They had him on their web page and I couldn’t wait to see him in person.
“Hello, how may I help you guys?” The girl that was behind the counter asked. When you walked in all you saw was a waiting room, a counter and then a door behind the counter. But you could hear the animals that were clearly out of sight behind the door.
“Yes, I’m Riley Rose and I emailed you guys about being interested in a lab puppy.” I answered her.
“You already chose one out?” Andy asked confused.
“I saw him on the website and I told them I was interested. I wanted to see if you would like him and if he would you know like us.” I answered with a grin.
“We’ve been excited to meet you. It’s not every day that someone is interested in a male lab. They usually go for the smaller dogs around here.” The girl said enthusiastically. She lifted up the counter, “You guys can follow me and I’ll show you to one of the rooms and bring him in for you.”
She guided us through the door and then through a door to the immediate right of us. We were in a room that had a rug and the walls were decorated with dog bones. There were a couple of chairs in the room and Andy sat down in one as the woman went to get the puppy. I was too excited to sit down. Andy chuckled, catching my attention.
“What?” I asked walking over to him.
“I’ve never seen you this excited, except for maybe when we watched cartoons that one Saturday.” Andy responded pulling me down onto his lap.
“Oh I’m more excited for this. My excitement is unparalleled.” I answered.
A second later the woman came back with a little black lab puppy. She set him on the floor and he came running up to us. I got off of Andy’s lap and sat down on the floor so that I could play with him.
“He has all of his shots, and has been neutered.” The woman started to tell us. “And he is almost house trained. He has actually been pretty easy to train as compared with other male labs that I have worked with. You just might have to make sure that he doesn’t chew on anything he’s not supposed to. That’s common with all labs though. Oh and he has a tracking chip in case he runs away and someone finds him they’ll be able to identify who he belongs to.”
Andy wiggled his foot in front of the puppy and the puppy pounced on his foot and started nipping at his shoe and leg. Andy chuckled.
“And you wanted a cat.” I commented.
Andy shrugged and picked the puppy up. “I just said that it would be easier to take care of.”
“Now lab males get pretty big and are really energetic throughout their whole life. Are you absolutely sure that you can deal with that?” The woman asked. I could tell that she wasn’t exactly doubting us, she was just being sure that we were serious about this.
I looked at Andy as he played with the puppy. Putting his hand in front of its mouth and then pulling it away before it could bite it. “So do you like him?” I asked Andy.
Andy looked at the lady, “I think we can handle him.” I smiled, wanting to jump up and kiss Andy but I contained myself.
“Great, now if you guys follow me we can get the paper work all signed.”
