Luxe sat low on the couch, a piece of paper in her hands and she couldn't have felt more proud of what she was holding. It was the final tracking list for their album, which was slated to come out October 30th-two days after BVB's fourth album. The girls felt a huge sense of relief wash over them when Alex got them all together and gave his stamp of approval for their third and what he called "best album yet".

They had worked hard-blood, sweat and lots and lots of tears had gone in to the making of the record and now it was finally all done. The end of the summer was here-it was the last week in August and instead of laying on a beach somewhere, Luxe found herself hard at work in a humid studio out in the depths of Hollywood. The record was done, but the girls were far from finished working.

The album cover had already been shot-it was a simple shot of the girls standing on a roof top, all dressed in leather jackets with their hair blowing in the fabricated wind that had been pointed their way.The girls had also just done a press released earlier that day, announcing the title of their album, it's release date and a small set of dates for a coming tour that they would later announce. It had felt weird saying their album name out loud, but as Luxe thought back on it, she felt a sense of pride enter her gut.

The Reckoning was going to be their best album yet and Luxe couldn't wait for everyone to hear it.

"Is that the track listing for the album?" Someone asked from over her shoulder and instantly Luxe felt her entire body tense.

It was Andy, she could just tell by the deep voice and she could smell the familiar scent of cigarettes and lemon wafting towards her nose. She knew this was going to happen-the guys were set to be in their video for American Boys long before she and Andy had stopped speaking and it was only a matter of time before they showed up on set.

"Yep. Sure is." She said simply, setting the paper down on the table in front of her before turning around. Andy was now standing in front of her and Luxe bit down on her lip to keep from reaching out and touching him.

"Can I see it?" Andy asked and Luxe only motioned towards the paper laying in front of them before standing up and moving to walk away. Instead of reaching for the paper, Andy grabbed Luxe's arm, holding her in place gently.

"Andy..." She said, a warning in her voice but Andy ignored it. This was stupid-they had both been so stupid.

"Luce...I know you're angry with me. A month of silence was enough to tell me that, but can we please just be civil for today's shoot?" He pleaded with her. They were going to around one another all day as Andy was one of the American Boys that would be showing up, along with the other girl's boyfriends and his bandmates.

"I'm not angry. I have to get to makeup before we start." She said, excusing herself by yanking her arm out of his grasp and then quickly walking off towards the makeup area.

Andy rubbed the back of his neck with his hand, his leather jacket making him hot, but that was his first outfit for the day and he had just decided to suck it up. He knew that this was going to be awkward, but Andy had held on to some hope that and Luxe could work things out, since they were going to be around one another for the better part of an entire day and a half.

"Andy! They're getting ready for you on set!" Someone called out to him and Andy only smirked as he saw a PA rolling a motorcycle towards the right edge of the set.

"I'll be right there!" He called out. Before heading off to rev up a bike he had never ridden, Andy picked up the paper from the table and looked it over. Whether she liked it or not, Andy was incredibly proud of Luxe and the girls-he would never deny that.

All of the girls were dressed to the nines, standing in front of a large white backdrop with an even larger group of differently dress men behind them. Their instruments were out in full force and Andy's head began to spin as they began to play. The basis for this video was that the girls would play in front of a large group of their American Boys and then the BVB guys and a few others would come in for short periods of time.

Andy's first 'part' was that of a Harley riding biker. He was supposed to get on the bike, drive past the girls and then Luxe was going to grab on to his hand and he would pull her on to the back, all while still moving at a pretty fast pace. They hadn't practiced it, so Andy was nervous, but thankfully there were a few shots to get in before his.

Andy watched as two guys in flannel shirts walked out infront of the girls, cans in their hands as they laughed and then smashed the cans against their foreheads. Andy laughed along with all of the people surrounding him and he could see that Luxe herself was trying to hold back a smirk as she continued to sing in to her old fashioned microphone. That mic had followed the girls from the very beginning and Andy wondered if it was a sort of security blanket for Luxe.

You're a sharp dressed man just like ZZ

Andy could barely contain his laughter as CC, dressed in a very expensive suit came strutting out in front of the camera, smirking as he stopped near Lulu and tried to flirt with her. Andy noticed that Luxe was staring at him, a look of irritation and frustration on her face. Why was she so angry with him? He knew that he had fucked everything up, but how many times had he called, left a message and tried to apologize to her?

"Andy...you're up." A PA said to him and Andy gulped as he walked towards the motorcycle that had been set up for him.

"Cut the music!" Someone called out and Andy felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest as he straddled the bike and waited for the queue. They were going to record him revving the bike up, which would then be placed over the music before his entrance. Andy got a nod and he quickly pushed his foot down, starting up the bike as his entire body began to vibrate. Luxe was standing off in the distance, a look of fear on her face and Andy knew it was because she didn't trust him.

Well she was going to have to get over that.

"Start the music!" Someone called out and Andy inhaled deeply as he pointed the handlebars towards Luxe and then let his foot of the ground.

Luxe was facing the camera, like she was supposed to, singing and rocking out until a low rumbling filled her ears. She knew it was Andy and deep down Luxe was happy that he was here, but she couldn't show it. This man had broken her heart and now he was supposed to be her knight riding on the back of a motorcycle-it was absurd. Just as she felt his hand touch her arm, Luxe tried to let herself go, to be pulled towards the one person who she trusted completely, but she couldn't do it.

The crash was spectacular, with Luxe tumbling towards the camera and Andy zig zagging for a few feet before falling off the bike and a huge screeching noise filled the large studio space. Gasps filled the air and Luxe was suddenly surrounded by a large group of people. She was okay, but she knew that her safety was a priority-all of the girls were a priority-as they would soon embark on a huge tour starting in the middle of October and not ending until late April.

"Luxe? Luxe are you okay?" Someone was asking her and as she looked up and was met with a pair of brilliant baby blues, Luxe felt her heart pitter patter to life. No matter how mad she was at him, Luxe knew that she and Andy were meant for one another-they kept colliding together like comets and there was no stopping it.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." She said as she took his hand and allowed him to help her to her feet.

Everything was reset and soon enough Luxe found herself in front of the camera again, listening for Andy's engine to get closer and closer. She caught out of the corner of her eye his approach and this time she let her body relax. The first time she had been so tense that when he had pulled her, her heels had dug in to the ground, pushing her away from him and causing their crash. This time, however, Luxe let Andy carry her weight and soon enough she found herself sitting behind Andy with her arms wrapped around his waist.

She faced the camera as they zoomed away and mouthed the line she needed to before going out of frame.

This was going to one fun but very weird day...for everyone.

@Giacobra

I'm so glad you found this little gem. Sadly this was my last full story, but I do have a few other serial stories on this site which are different from this one, but just as well written. You can find all of them in my profile<3

So I can honestly say I didn't discover this story until recently. When I first started reading it I knew it would be one of my favorites from this site. I saw the sad ending coming but dear god I was still not prepared in any way. You wrote everything so genuinely and in a way that showed an amazing range of real and raw emotions. I may or may not have been crying profusely through the last chapters. This was a beautiful, bittersweet, and amazing story and I look forward to anything else you may ever decide to write. Thank you

I'm pretty sure I've done nothing but cry while reading these last few chapters. You do a wonderful job getting the reader emotionally involved in this story, and I'm really glad that I was able to read this wonderfully written piece. Thank you for all of the time and hard work that went into this story. It is definitely one of the best that I have read in a really long time.
