They Don't Need To Understand

Sherri's POV

So my brother is a rock star, who is getting married soon and wants me to go on tour with them. If you told somebody that, no one would believe you. But its happening!
"So anyways sissy, tell me about you. Dad only tells me bits and pieces," Jake laughed. Jake and I were quite a like now I think about it. He seems to be quite quiet, like me, but open when he knows someone well enough, like me, and completely passionate about music, like me.
"Well, what do you want to know? I sing and play guitar but I suck at both. Urm I dye my hair all the time and I don't really talk to many people. I love music more than life and yeah, been a pretty boring shitty life," I laughed, "What about you bro? Must have a exciting life,"
"Well its tour, see Ella and then record a album, it pretty awesome," Jake laughed
"Oi Pitts, come on we have soundcheck," Andy said bluntly and took a drag from the cigarette in his hand
"Cool just coming," Jake said, "Sorry Sher urm want to wait back here or?"
"I'll sit here I need to see if Leigh is calm yet," I said my brother disappeared

"Hello?" I asked when Leigh picked up
"ARE YOU STILL WITH THEM?" she screamed
"yes...come on down to the venue I'll meet outside,"
"ON MY WAY!" then the phone went dead...

So I waited, head phones in and I started to hum along to All Time Low songs.
"Hey mini Pitts," a tall shirtless man with the word 'outlaw' printed across his stomach
"Whatsup," I said and went back to music
"so you are gunna come on tour with us right?" He asked
"I dunno...depends on things,"
"What sort of things?" he pressed
"Shouldn't you be in sound check?" I asked
"Rather talk to a beautiful girl...so yeah you should come with us...It would be a shame if we couldn't hang out some more," he smiled and squeezed my hand
"aw might have to go now," I laughed and as our conversation grew that Andy guy reappeared.
"Excuse me Ash? Come on we have a gig in a hour we need to get ready! and Sherri or whoever you are please don't distract my band anymore...this isn't just a hobby for us this is our jobs and our lives," Andy said and started to walk away
"Back off! I am as new to this as anything. Until today I didn't know I had brother now I am meant to be leaving my mom and dad, my best friend and things here to go tour with his band. Cut me some slack! How many 16/17 year olds have to do that?" I asked
"I did. And it was a good opportunity but they need to stay focused. So Ash stop chatting her up. First she is far too young for you and second Jake would slaughter you!" Andy said and walked away.
"Hes such a ass!" I said to Ash and got up to find my brother and my best friend sat talking about me

"You didn't mention getting crap at school...." Jakes eyes were filled with upset and horror
"It didn't come up," I answered and sat between them
"Well im going to your school tomorrow. You are leaving for tour with me tomorrow, no more bullies okay?" Jake said
"kay...." I muttered.

The rest of the night blurred. I watched Andy sing to the fans and saw him light up as they embraced the music and gave back as much love to him as he gave them. Ashley was constantly looking for eye contact with me and finding opportunities to show off. CC was MAD! I have never seen anything like him! But Jinxx and Jake man they were classic. They were playing off of the vibes of the crowd and off of the music, it was awesome.

"Okay okay, I see why you like them," I said to Leigh as we walked to their dressing room
"Ashley has a thing for youu " she sang as we walked down the hall
"Whatever," I laughed
"He does you wait and see!" Leigh laughed and instantly five sweating men ran in and were buzzing off of the gig. Ashley instantly ran over to me and spun me around in the air while pulling me into a tight hug. Leigh had her 'I-am-right' face on.
"Did you watch us?! What did you think?!" Ash said with a massive smile on his face
"You were awesome, I take back the crap I said about you guys," I laughed
"Sherri, are you serious? That was the best show we ever played!" Andy said in a better mood than previously
"Yeah, you weren't too bad. Have to say CC's facial expressions stole the show!" I laughed
"YEAHHH!" CC squeeled and downed a beer.
"Well theres more to come sissy, a lot more. I may even teach you a bit more guitar," Jake laughed
"Awesome I guess, but yeah I am defiantly going to Warped with you guys," I laughed
"Yes Sherri!" Jinxx called and high fived me
"Are you serious?!" Ashley smiled and hugged me
"Great, urm we can use another chick around for Ella and Sammi to hang out with, and help us with war paint," Andy laughed
"I don't think so, my main task is to spend time with my big brother and meet All Time Low and the rest of the bands," I laughed
"Nawr how cute is that, sibling bonding time!" CC laughed
"Shut up!" Jake hit CC and the celebrations continued
