The Silent One
"How about we take the filming... To Florida." Andy suggested over coffee with the band. They all looked at him, confused.
"C'mon, it'll be good! A new video, set in a Florida dance hall. Maybe a few local dancers thrown in."
CC frowned. "I don't know. A dance hall?"
Corynne, Andy's wife, cut in. "The song IS about perseverance and determination. Ballet dancers have to go through all that."
Jake shrugged. "She has a point, you guys. We could have a go."
Ash grinned. "Ballet dancers? Sounds... Interesting. And we could check out some of the girls!"
CC leant back and downed the rest of his coffee. "I have a thing for Italian girls, but... Ok... Lets give it a go."
And that was how the band found themselves in a room with walls covered in mirrors, setting up. CC walked out of makeup, and the director of the video ushered him to the others, where the rest of the band were chatting and grinning. A woman, dressed in a pale-grey ballet dress, was warming up in the corner. What caught CC's attention, was that there were two others right next to her, a blonde and brunette, talking to her. But she wasn't speaking back.
The first day of filming went well, but they had a few scenes to touch up on, so they had to go back the next day. The band went to the green room with coke and gummy sweets to relax, and soon after they were joined by two of the ballet girls.
"My name's Susie." One of them, a blonde, told them.
"And I'm Taz," said the brunette.
They smiled and shook hands. "Hey, where's the other dancer?" Jake asked, "The red-haired girl."
Taz grimaced. "She doesn't like people. She's..." She leant forward and said quietly, "Mute. A shame, really."
There were a few ah's. "So... What's her name?" Asked Andy.
Susie smiled. "Isabella Crescendo. She's half Italian."
At that, Ash turned his head in CC's direction.
AN- Corynne is a reference from another story that may be part of four (This one would be the second) its called 'I Do It All For You'.
