Fifty Shades of Pink
No Good
Victoria's POV
I was laying down on my back on the couch, Ashley had came home about an hour ago and I wasn't sure if he was alone or not.
Thoughts were brewing in my mind of Clara, and I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I got home, knowing I couldn't stay with the guys forever.
I had missed cuddling with her at night, getting to run my fingers through her silky hair. I had missed the cute little snort that she made when she giggled. I had missed her natural scent that had a soft hint of coconut in it. And most of all, I missed the feeling of her lips.
"You still up?" His deep voice was fogged in comatose.
I slowly turn to face him, seeing his distinct chest tattoos in the streetlight lazering from the window.
"Overthinking." I whispered.
"Vicky," He starts off.
"Um, nope." I interupt.
"Victoria," He corrected himself.
"Nothing ever lasts forever, and this pain you're feeling, will fade, too. Trust me, I know."
Was he saying that Clara and I's relationship wasn't going to last too? The thought startled me, straight down to the bone.
"I know you're trying to help..." It almost hurt to talk.
"But making me think that everything, including the good things in this world, are going to perish is really not helping."
"There is no good in this world, Love," He grabbed a beer out of the fridge.
"If there was, temptation has probably destroyed it."
He winked and went back to bed.
But I never did.
