“Everything seems fine with Skye today, her heart is strong and she’s very healthy.” Anne told Pandora with a caring smile, Pandora was laying on her back while Anne wiped the gel off her belly.
“What about the weight gaining and swollen ankles?” Ashley asked while sitting on an uncomfortable chair beside the bed, Pandora pulled down her shirt to cover her belly and started to lift up with her elbows. Ashley saw her struggling so he jumped up quickly and grabbed her hand, pulling her up.
“Don’t worry, gaining weight is normal in the pregnancy and so is swollen ankles. She has only gained ten pounds and the swelling should go down soon.” Anne replied, Ashley nodded.
“When is she due?”
“September twenty-third.” Anne replied, that was just a month away. Pandora was afraid, what if she wasn’t ready yet? Even though the nursery was done it was still empty, and she had just started planning the baby shower.
“Wow, that’s not long.”
“No it isn’t, but sometimes the woman goes into labor a few days before the due date or a few days after the due date. It all depends on when the baby is ready to come out.” Anne told them both, Ashley nodded then looked at Pandora.
“You ready?”
Pandora nodded and climbed off of the bed.
“I’ll see you next month Pandora.”
“Thanks Anne, bye.” Pandora said, leaving the room with Ashley. They were silent as they left the hospital and when they reached the cars in the parking lot, Pandora stopped and looked at Ashley.
“Thank you for coming with me, Ash.”
“No problem, I am the father.” Ashley said, she giggled and shook her head.
“True, so the baby shower is coming up.”
“I know, Andy told me Brittan and Ella has been helping you with planning.”
“Yeah, but I was going to ask you if you wanted to invite anybody?” Pandora said.
“No, just invite the ones you think should come.”
“Collin wants his parents and sister to come.” Pandora told him.
“Collin does realize Skye is my daughter right?” Ashley asked her, sounding annoyed and protective.
“Yes he knows that, but I know what he’s saying, since it is me that’s pregnant and he is my boyfriend and his parents are--”
Ashley interrupted. “Grandparents?”
“No, I was going to say involved too.”
“Good, because they aren’t Skye’s grandparents and I don’t want them thinking they are.” Ashley spat, he sounded angry and Pandora couldn’t understand why.
“Why do you sound so pissed all of a sudden?”
“I just don’t want your boyfriend inviting people to the baby shower of our daughter like he’s the father.”
“He’s not acting like that Ash, he knows you’re the father and he respects that.” Pandora told him defensively, Ashley sighed.
“Just invite whoever you want Pandora, I’m not arguing about this.”
Pandora was tired of his attitude right now, she was angry but at the same time upset.
“Whatever Ashley, I’m going to leave now.” Pandora told him, approaching her car.
“Bye!” Ashley said a little too loud, she opened the car door and hopped inside, slamming the door shut. She put on her seat belt then started the engine, she pressed play on her CD player and the band Motionless In White started to play. She was so angry at Ashley and his attitude, she had no idea why he got so angry over that…


“Andy?!” Pandora yelled when she walked into the house, slamming the door.
“In here angry!” Andy yelled from the living room, she made her way into the living room then tossed her bag onto the recliner. “Who pissed you off?”
“Ashley.”
“What did he do, and do I need to kick his ass?” Andy asked her, she sat down beside him and he waited for her to reply.
“I told him that Collin wanted to invite his parents to the baby shower, and he says “Collin does know Skye is my daughter right?” and starts saying his parents isn’t Skye’s grandparents and Collin isn’t the father.”
Andy sighed. “Sounds like to me Ashley is afraid Skye will think Collin is her father if Collin treats her like his daughter.”
“That won’t ever happen.”
“Tell a new father that Pandora, I wouldn’t worry about it though. He’ll get over it, just invite them if you want to. If he doesn’t like it, tell him to grow a vagina and take it.” Andy said, Pandora laughed.
“Thanks Andy.”
“No problem, oh hey, will you be okay alone tonight?” Andy said, she looked at him and smiled.
“Yes I will be Andy, I’m eighteen! But why?” Pandora said, he chuckled.
“Well, I have a date tonight.”
Pandora’s jaw dropped open, he was seeing people again and didn’t tell her?
“What! Who is she? I need details.”
Andy laughed and slightly turned red.
“Well I met her on Twitter, we started talking. She’s a fan of Black Veil Brides, and we listen to the same bands too. She’s twenty-one, lives alone and her name is Aryana Haven Myers.” Andy told her, she smiled.
“Where are you taking her?”
“Movie, dinner and then a walk.” Andy replied.
“You’re back in the game, what time are you picking her up?”
“Eight thirty.”
“I’m happy for you Andy, but I have to approve her.” She told him, he rolled his eyes.
“Of course you do, so you’ll be home for a while and I’m actually worried to leave you alone while you’re eight months pregnant.”
“Andrew, I’ll be fine, promise.”
“Okay first; do not call me Andrew and second; I’m still going to worry.” Andy told her, she giggled.
“Don’t worry about me Andy, I’ll be fine. Just have fun, but not too much fun, okay?”
Andy laughed and nodded. “Yes mom.”



Pickles and ketchup was Pandora’s biggest craving. It was absolutely amazing and that was what she was snacking on at eleven o’clock while she watched reruns of Full House on Nick At Night. She loved this show and wished she had uncles like Jessie and Joey, who wouldn’t want them as uncles? Crow and Buttercup were laying on each side of her as if they were protecting her, she had grown on them and they had grown on her. She was comfortable, wearing only a huge sweat-shirt and underwear. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had no makeup on, it was paradise. She sighed when the jar of pickles was empty, she leaned forward a bit then set the jar and bowl on the coffee table. It was official now, she was bored.



Andy arrived home at one, he cut off the engine and then hopped out of the mustang. He really enjoyed his date with Aryana and they were going out again soon, and he honestly couldn’t wait. He unlocked the door then headed into the house, hearing the TV on.
“Pandora?” He said, there was no answer so he made his way into the living room and saw her asleep on the couch. He smiled then grabbed a blanket that laid on the back of the couch, he unfolded it and covered her up. He turned off the TV then the lights, then headed upstairs to get some sleep…

I updated again, I already finished the other chapter but that won't be posted until later on. I haven't even emailed it yet to get edited, but it will be soon.
