Pandora's head turned to the several figures coming towards her and Jackson, and as they got closer she realized there was five figures. Jackson set Pandora on her feet and turned to the figures angrily.
"What?" Jackson asked them rudely, the figures approached them, but it was too dark for Pandora to see their faces.
"Is he hurting you?" One figure asked Pandora.
"No I am not." Jackson defended himself, answering for Pandora. But Pandora found her voice quickly.
"Yes he is."
Jackson looked at Pandora, he couldn't believe she said that, he wanted to make her pay now.
"Well, come on. You can come with us, we'll take you home." The figure said, Pandora nodded even though they couldn't see her nod, she stepped away from Jackson and joined the unknown figures. The tallest figure found Pandora's arm and started to lead her away, the other four followed. They were heading back into town, Pandora didn't realize how close she was to town, she thought she was far away from it. She figured they were heading towards a car, but instead the tallest figure led her down the sidewalk.
"Thank you for getting me away from him." Pandora said
"No problem, I figured you were in trouble." Said the tallest figure, who had a deep voice, a voice Pandora never heard before. But it was somewhat familiar.
"Yeah I was, I was lucky you five saw me. I probably would have a black eye by now." Pandora said, she kept looking forward and kept walking, even though she wanted to turn and see the people who saved her. Suddenly they stopped, and Pandora was finally able to turn around and see who they were. They all wore black sunglasses and had black hoodies on, with their hoods up, they were all male. Pandora was curious why they were dressed like that. But decided not to ask.
"Where do you live?" Asked the figure standing next to the tallest, Pandora looked around, seeing nothing familiar.
"I don't think anywhere near here," Pandora said, she's only been in town a few times with her Mom whenever her sister needed something. But besides that, she's never been here on her own. "But, I live on the street called Smith Grove." Pandora told them, she turned back to the figures and saw them nod.
"We know where that is, we'll drive you. Make sure you get home safe, I don't know if that boy back there will come after you again." Said the tallest, he walked pass her.
"He will, he's probably mad at me now." Pandora said, the four figures walked behind her as she followed the guy in the front. They drove a mustang, even though there was only four seats, they all got in somehow. But Pandora had to sit in the tallest guy's lap, which was completely awkward for her. She just met the guy not even an hour ago and she was in his lap, she shook her head side to side, not knowing what made her decide to do that. Maybe she was really losing her mind. But then she thought, Jackson was going to hit her and do whatever he wanted to, and these five guys basically saved her life. So maybe the thought of her being safe, and them taking her home, didn't sound like a bad idea, and getting in someone's lap just to get home. Wasn't so bad, right? Besides these guys didn't seem harmless to Pandora.
As the mustang drove down Smith Grove street, passing big two story houses, Pandora told the driver where to go. The mustang pulled in front of a two story white house, all the lights were on, and Pandora knew everyone was still awake. The tall guy open the door and let Pandora get out first, then he got out.
"Thank you all for bringing me home." Pandora thanked them, they all smiled.
"No problem at all, I'm just glad we found you before you got hurt." Said the tall one, Pandora grinned.
"Thank you, um. What's your name?" Pandora said, he grinned softly and replied.
"Andrew, but you can call me Andy instead." Andy said, Pandora nodded.
"Well, thank you Andy." Pandora said, then she turned around and started to walk to the porch steps.
"Bye, um." That's when Andy realized he didn't know her name.
"Pandora." Pandora told him, Andy waved bye when she opened the door and stepped inside. He watched her close the door, and that's when Andy got back into the mustang with his friends. As Andy sat in the backseat thinking, he realized that Pandora looked familiar, like he knew her. But he wasn't completely sure if he seen her before...
