Andy was driving down the street looking everywhere for Pandora, it felt like he's been driving for hours straight, but he wasn't going to give up until he finds her and bring her home. He was worried, scared even. There was no way she could have walked that fast, unless she left sooner than he thought she had. He was driving slow down a street, on each side of the street was houses side by side with fences between them, he looked at the houses and even the fences trying to find a figure walking to anywhere. He found himself so excited to find her when he drove down a street, expecting to see Pandora. But each time, he was disappointed and hurt when he didn't see her. As minutes passed, it started to rain. Andy sighed, now knowing she'll be wet and cold by the time he finds her. He flicked on the windshield wipers as the raindrops covered the windshield, now he was even more determined to find her...




Pandora pulled up her hoodie's hood to protect her hair from the rain, she could feel her hoodies now becoming wet with the rain that began to pour. She held the backpack hanging over her right shoulder tightly, as she kept her head down trying to block the rain from her face. She had no idea where she was, all she knew was that she was walking down a sidewalk and had street lamps for light. She kept walking, not turning around and going back to Andy. She didn't want Juliet and Andy to fight because of her, she knew Andy wouldn't be happy if their fighting, and Pandora knowing it was over her being in the music video made her feel even worse. Behind her lights appeared, she could see the light shining on the street. She turned around and waved the car to a stop, it was a mustang and the driver never did get out of the mustang but Pandora saw he or she waving for her to get in. Pandora jogged over to the passenger door and hopped in, the light turned on and she pulled down her hoodie when she sat in the passenger seat. She turned towards the driver to thank him or her, and was shocked to see Jake sitting there with his hands holding the steering wheel and looking at her like she was crazy. Pandora swallowed hard, wondering what he was going to say. It took him a few seconds to say anything, he was shocked to see her here, on the street, in the freaking rain at 8:30 PM.
"What the hell are you doing in the rain?" Jake asked, his voice worried.
Pandora hesitated before answering his question. "I left Andy's."
Jake's eyes widen in shock, he looked at the steering wheel and started to drive again. "Why?"
"Him and Juliet was arguing... Because I was in the music video.." Pandora replied, looking down at her hands. Jake nodded and kept on driving, he decided he'll take her home for now and call and let Andy know she's safe. He could only imagine what Andy was thinking and doing right now. He knew Juliet was the jealous type, she always jealous of girls around Andy, even Sammi.
It wasn't long until Jake pulled up in front of his house, him and Pandora ran to the porch steps to try not to get soak. They talked about why Pandora ran away from Andy, she was sad and missed him, but she didn't want him and Juliet arguing because she was in a music video with Juliet's boyfriend. She fell asleep on the couch, and after Jake covered her up, he called Andy and told him she was here. Andy was relieved, he drove quickly to Jake's house. Andy's mustang pulled up in the concrete driveway, he looked at the house seeing the living room light on. He cut off the engine and hopped out of the mustang, he ran towards the porch and knocked on the door. He was waiting patiently for Jake to open the door, he stuffed his hands into his jeans pockets and looked down at the wooden floor of the porch. Why did she leave, what did I say, what did I do? Andy kept wondering, just then the door opened and there stood Jake. He stepped back and let Andy stepped inside, the rest of the house was dark except the living room. Andy looked at Jake, with the 'Where is she?' look. Jake pointed towards the living room, Andy walked into the living room and saw Pandora asleep on the couch. He felt relief go through his body, she was okay. He sat down beside her and looked at her chest raising up and down as she took her breaths, Jake sat down in the recliner.
"She told me why she left." Jake told Andy, Andy looked at him curiously.
"Why?"
Jake sighed and leaned back. "She didn't want you and Juliet arguing over her, so she left so you two would be happy."
Andy shook his head and looked back at Pandora. "I won't be happy if she wasn't there with me." Andy said, then he paused. Did he really just said that?
Jake grinned a little bit. "I figured that."
Andy waited until Pandora woke up, which wasn't long after he talked to Jake. They said bye, and Andy led Pandora to the mustang. It was still raining, not as hard though.
"I was worried about you." Andy said, starting the engine. Pandora looked down.
"I'm sorry."
Andy looked at her. "Promise me you won't run out again, no matter what happens."
Pandora nodded. "I promise." She looked at Andy and saw him staring into her eyes, they were silent for what felt like forever before Andy started to lean towards her. He was close, his lips only a few inches from hers. Pandora turned her head which made Andy awkwardly lean back, he shook his head disappointed in himself. He needed to stop trying to kiss her. He backed out of Jake's driveway and headed home...
