Jamie’s truck pulled up in front of Andy’s house on a Friday afternoon, he cut off the engine and leaned back against the seat and sighed. He’s been dating Pandora for six weeks now, and their relationship was fine, but he absolutely had a burning passion of hatred for Andy, he didn’t want Andy around Pandora but it was difficult for him to keep them apart since she lived with him and they were obviously best friends. Jamie wasn’t jealous, he just thought Andy was a horrible singer and the entire band sucked, he couldn’t understand why would anyone listen to that kind of music. It’s honestly disgusting and embarrassing for him to even be around Black Veil Brides, he got out of the truck and headed to the porch steps. He hoped Andy wasn’t here, he honestly didn’t want to look at him right now, he was just going to get Pandora and leave immediately. He ringed the doorbell and heard the bell inside the house, a few seconds later he heard two people shouting at each other, then the door opened and it was Pandora. She smiled and hugged Jamie, he smiled and hugged back, but when he saw Andy entered the hallway his smile faded and he pulled away from the hug.
“You ready?” Jamie asked, Pandora nodded and turned towards Andy.
“I’ll be back soon, okay?” Pandora said, Andy nodded and gave Jamie a quick look with a serious expression.
“Take care of her.” He said, it sounded more like a demand, like he was demanding Jamie to take care of her rather he wanted to or not, well he basically was. Jamie nodded and turned away, walking off the porch to the truck. He hated Andy, and his tone towards him. Jamie opened the truck door and hopped inside, waiting for Pandora.
Pandora stepped outside onto the porch and Andy followed her, Andy took a glance at Jamie’s truck, then back towards Pandora.
“So, how long will you be gone?” Andy asked, Pandora shrugged.
“I don’t know, a few hours maybe?”
Andy nodded. “Well, just remember me and the guys have a signing to get to before three, and Juliet is recording a new song so she won’t be here until later on. I’ll leave a key under the door mat, you can use that to get inside, okay?” Andy said, Pandora nodded.
“I gotcha, have fun at the signing.” Pandora said, walking off the porch steps and heading towards the truck.
“Yeah, I will.” Andy mumbled, he watched her get into the truck and watched Jamie leave down the street. He sighed and headed back inside to start getting ready for this signing, he honestly wished Pandora would have stayed home today, but he knew he couldn’t control her and make her change her plans. She likes Jamie and likes going out with him, if it makes her happy Andy just figured he’ll have to deal with Jamie.

Andy was rushing to get ready, he knew taking that short nap was a bad idea, he thought a twenty minute nap would be fine, but he woke up an hour later and knew the guys were on their way and he was nowhere near ready to go yet. He ran up and down the stairs over and over trying to find the things he was looking for, he heard a loud knock on the front door and rushed downstairs to answer it. Ashley stood in front of him, he gave Andy a quick look and rolled his eyes and chuckled.
“Dude, your hardly dressed!” Ashley said, walking inside along with the others.
“I know, I took a nap and didn’t wake up until four minutes ago.” Andy defended himself and grabbed his belt and started to put it on.
Jinxx shook his head side to side and chuckled lightly. “I guess that would teach you not to take a nap when we have a signing to get to less than thirty minutes now.”
Andy grabbed his cell phone and his wallet, he put them in his pocket and started to push everyone out the door.
“Go! Go! Go!” Andy demanded, he locked the door and closed it behind him and placed the key under the door mat then he rushed towards Ashley’s car. All five of them hopped into Ashley’s car and demanded Ashley to go now.


It was eight thirty when Jamie pulled up in front of Andy’s house, Pandora unbuckled and looked at Jamie, seeing him staring at the house.
“No one is home right now, right?” Jamie asked, looking over at Pandora. Pandora nodded.
“Yeah, Andy and the guys have a signing and Juliet is recording a song.” Pandora replied, Jamie smiled.
“Awesome, so I can come in and chill for a little?” Jamie asked, Pandora smiled and nodded.
“Yeah, come on.” Pandora hopped out of the truck and headed for the porch as Jamie followed behind her, she lifted up the door mat and grabbed the key Andy told her he would leave. She unlocked the door and opened it, stepping back and letting Jamie go in first. It was dark inside the house, none of the lights were on, Pandora made her way into the living room and flipped on a lamp beside the couch. Jamie smiled and took a seat on the couch, he grabbed the remote and flipped on the TV to find something to watch.
“I’m going to go change, find something good to watch?” Pandora said, Jamie nodded as she walked away and went upstairs to change. He sat there flipping through random channels trying to find a movie or even a show to watch, he heard footsteps coming downstairs and soon enough Pandora appeared in batman pajamas. Jamie looked at her and raised his eyebrows questioningly.
“What?” Pandora asked, sitting down beside him.
“Batman pajamas? Seriously? That’s like for kids.” Jamie said, sounding annoyed.
“Not just for kids Jamie, I mean when you live with Andy you can’t help but to like batman too.” Pandora said, Jamie sighed and continued flipping through channels.
“My words exactly, batman is for kids.”
Pandora bit her bottom lip and didn’t say anything else, Jamie found Halloween Resurrection to watch, so they spent their time in silence watching Halloween Resurrection. Once the credits started rolling, Jamie decided to break the silence with a question.
“Why do you always wear hoodies and long sleeve shirts when your around me? I mean even when it’s almost eighty degrees outside you wear a hoodie or a long sleeve shirt.” Jamie said, Pandora bit her bottom lip, unsure if she should tell him. But they have been dating for six weeks, maybe she should tell him? Maybe he’ll understand and not judge her, Pandora didn’t know but she took the chance anyways.
“I.. Um… I hide my scars.” Pandora replied, chewing on her lip and looking down. Jamie didn’t say anything at first, he looked back at the TV for a few seconds then back at her.
“What kind of scars?” Jamie asked her, hoping he wasn’t getting the answer he was expecting.
“Cutting scars…” Pandora replied quietly, her voice was fading and she didn’t know how he would react. Jamie chuckled lightly and shook his head side to side, he laid the remote beside him and rubbed his hands together.
“I should’ve known, don’t most people cut when they listen to Black Veil Brides?” Jamie said, Pandora looked at him.
“People don’t cut because of Black Veil Brides, they cut because it somehow makes them feel a little better, it’s the only way they can handle things…” Pandora said, her voice fading at the end.
“Okay, whatever.” Jamie said, Pandora didn’t say anything else, she just waited for Halloween II to come on.
The minutes went by silently, hardly any of them talking to each other. Jamie bit his bottom lip and looked at Pandora then kissed her cheek softly, she blushed lightly and looked at him.
“What was that for?” Pandora asked with a smile, Jamie smiled and shrugged.
“I don’t know I just felt like giving you a kiss.” Jamie replied, they haven’t had their first kiss yet. He kissed her cheek again and again, repeatedly. Then he tried to kiss her lips, at first she gave in, until he wanted move she pulled away.
“What’s up?” He asked her.
“I’m not ready.” Pandora replied, Jamie sighed and leaned back against the couch cushion.
“I bet you are..”
Pandora shook her head side to side. “No I’m not.”





Ashley’s car drove up the street of the neighborhood Andy lived in, the signing was absolutely packed and busy, but they had fun. The car pulled up in front of Andy’s house and Andy saw Jamie’s truck parked in front of the garage, he sighed and looked at the others.
“Looks like Jamie is here.” Andy said, opening the door and hopping out. Ashley cut off the engine and got out too, he looked at Andy and grinned.
“What? I have to check on my girl.” Ashley told him, while the others hopped out of the car. Andy rolled his eyes and started to head for the porch, he reached the door and grabbed the door knob. He turned it and opened it, and realized it was silent at first. He looked in the living room and saw Halloween II on, and didn’t see Jamie nor Pandora. Jinxx looked at Andy questioningly, Andy shrugged.
“Maybe their upstairs?” Jake said, almost like a question. Andy headed for the stairs and started to climb up the stairs, and that’s when he heard Pandora’s voice.
“Jamie, we’re not doing this.” Pandora said, her voice was faded since she was in her bedroom with the door closed. Andy felt his heart beating a little faster, he was apprehensive and didn’t know what to expect. He reached Pandora’s door and leaned up against it quietly, listening to something that would throw him off and give him a reason to run inside.
“Jamie, I said no!” Pandora said a little louder, Andy broke and opened the door and saw Jamie trying to kiss Pandora when she was trying to push him away. Andy rushed inside the room and grabbed Jamie by the arm, pulling him up from the bed and pushing him away from Pandora protectively.
“Dude, get out of here!” Jamie ordered Andy, Ashley cracked his knuckles.
“When a girl says no, it means no prick.” Ashley said, Jamie chuckled.
“You think you can fight me Ashley? That’s hilarious, I’d like to see you try.” Jamie said, Ashley tried running towards Jamie but CC and Jake grabbed him.
“I think you need to leave.” Andy said through his teeth, Jamie chuckled.
“Sure, I don’t need this anyways. I don’t need to date some girl who has scars from cutting herself, what is that? Besides she isn’t that pretty anyways, I can do better.” Jamie said, walking pass Andy, knocking his shoulder against Andy’s. Andy lost his temper and grabbed Jamie by the arm, Jamie turned and that’s when Andy’s fist connected to Jamie’s jaw. Jamie stumbled back and fought to keep his balance, his nose was now bleeding and he looked angry.
“Screw all of you!” Jamie hissed and stormed out of the room, Jake laughed.
“Dude, you punched the hell out of him!” Jake said excitedly, Andy grinned and looked at Pandora who was staring at the ground. Jinxx was behind her and trying to comfort her, knowing she was upset.
“You okay?” Andy asked, sitting beside Pandora and pulling her into a hug.
“Yeah, I guess.” Pandora replied.
“Don’t worry about what that prick said Pandora, and you are pretty.” CC said, Pandora grinned a little bit.
“Thanks CC.”
Everyone walked out of the room and gave Pandora and Andy a few minutes to themselves, Andy looked at Pandora, finding the words to say.
“I never did like him.” Andy told her, Pandora giggled.
“He didn’t like you neither.”
“Yeah because my awesomeness is too much for him.” Andy said with a huge smile, Pandora giggled and smiled.
“Got that right, thanks for helping me again. Maybe one day I can help you back and we’ll be even.” Pandora said, Andy smiled and nodded.
“That sounds good.”
Pandora stood up and fixed her shirt and pulled back down her sleeves to cover the scars, she smiled at Andy. “I’m going downstairs to watch Halloween with the guys, okay?”
Andy nodded and watched her go, when she disappeared Andy smiled and looked down at his hands.
“You already did help me Pandora.” Andy mumbled, he stood up and headed downstairs to join everyone else. He heard Pandora and CC playfully arguing at each other over a seat, they were pointing fingers at each other and telling the other that the seat was theirs. Andy leaned up against the doorway and crossed his arms with a smile on his face, he watched Pandora took the seat and watched CC playfully pouted. Andy chuckled quietly and smiled, he was glad Pandora was his best friend. He was glad all of the guys were his best friends too, but Andy fought. He did fought his feelings and tried to ignore them, trying not to ruin everything….
