Andy looked at James angrily, wondering why they were here, it’s not like they care anyways.
“Where is my daughter?” Gail asked, looking directly at Andy for him to answer, and only him.
“She’s sleeping, she needs time for herself.” Andy replied, trying so hard to be somewhat polite to them.
“She needs me.” Gail said through her teeth, sounding extremely rude to Andy. Amy stepped in between Gail and Andy, looking at Gail seriously.
“Excuse me, I’m pretty sure Pandora needs her rest and I’m sure the doctor would say the same thing. She’s probably tired, we’ll all see her when she’s ready.” Amy said.
“Excuse me, I’m her mother, you have no right when to tell me to see my daughter.” Gail said rudely, Andy knew this woman is just going to be rude to be doing it, she had no reason to be rude to any one of them.
“That’s my mother your talking to, show her some respect and we’ll show you some respect.” Andy said, they all went silent for a minute. Andy was desperately hoping they’ll leave, he knew this was all an act, they didn’t care about Pandora. Gail looked at the close wooden door to a room, beside the door was a small dry erase board with the letters P.C which stand for Pandora Chambers. Gail headed for the door, Sammi and Amy tried to stop her, but it was too late. Gail, James and Sierra entered the room, seeing Pandora sleeping peacefully. They saw the bandage around her wrist, and Sierra gave a smirk, wanting to laugh. She knew what happened once she saw the bandage, she stood beside Pandora looking down at her. The others entered the room too, trying to get Pandora’s parents out of here.
“Just leave her alone, you pushed her to this!” Jake hissed, James gave him a hatful look.
“We’re her parents, your not! Your just some boy in a stupid band that thinks he’s hot stuff!” James hissed angrily.
“You’re the reason she’s in this hospital, if it wasn’t for me she could have bled out and died!” Andy hissed, stepping forward, wanting to hit James so bad. Chris gripped Andy and pushed Andy behind him, and held him back tight.
“We’re not fighting in a hospital, in Pandora’s room. Okay?!” Chris told them all, trying to calm the situation before they get kicked out.
“What are you doing here?” Pandora said, Andy’s head turned towards Pandora, seeing her staring at her parents.
Gail rushed over to Pandora’s side, Pandora looked at Gail, tears filling her eyes. “Get out of my room!” She ordered, Gail didn’t listen.
“Your coming home with us once you get out of here Pandora.” Gail told her, before anyone could say anything a nurse came in.
“Excuse me, you all can’t be in here at once. One of a time please, family can stay, everyone else out please.” The nurse said, the guys sighed and walked out of the room into the hallway, Andy didn’t want to leave Pandora but she promised she’ll be okay. Once the door closed, and Pandora was left alone with her parents and sister, her mother began to talk.
“Are you crazy Pandora? You cut yourself because of what? What did you want to do, bleed out and die? Your living with some guy you barely even know, you ran away from home, you been gone for almost three months and now look where you are. Your in a hospital! This is so irresponsible of you to do!” Gail hissed, Pandora swallowed hard and looked at her mother.
“Mom, you don’t understand do you? I know enough about Andy than you do and who are you to judge him? I trust him more than you and Dad put together, he’s responsible, he helped me out when I needed someone when you and Dad were too careless not to help me. No, you made it worse. I ran away from home, because what was left there for me? Nothing at all, just misery. Nothing happy, all those happy memories died a long time ago. And no I don’t regret running away from home, I’m happy, I’ll be happier if you and Dad and Sierra left me alone.” Pandora told them, Sierra shook her head side to side in disappointment.
“See, it’s all about you isn’t it Pandora? You don’t care about us now, your telling us to get out of your life and you’ll be happier with us gone. Your not even thinking about me or Dad or Mom are you? No, your thinking about yourself.” Sierra hissed, Pandora’s head turned towards Sierra.
“I did care, I did. I cared about you three a lot, I wish it wasn’t like this between us, but it is. You three let it get this far, you didn’t help me, you’re my sister and you done nothing to help me. You bullied me more than Liam did, ‘cause you enjoyed watching me get upset and embarrass right? And you and Mom didn’t care, you never asked what was wrong, what was going on, didn’t even bother to help me out. Mom was working and trying any possible way to ignore me, while you lay on the couch passed out drunk.” Pandora said, James looked at Pandora, anger and hatred burning in his eyes.
“So, it’s all our fault? It’s our fault because you ran away, it’s our fault because you were bullied, it’s our fault you cut yourself, it’s our fault your in a hospital? That’s stupid Pandora, it’s not our fault, it’s your fault!” Gail said, Pandora looked at her. There was no longer tears in Pandora’s eyes, she was finally saying what needed to be said to them.
“If things didn’t get as bad at home and school, I wouldn’t have ran away. I ran away because I didn’t felt like anyone needed me, like I was a mistake to be there, so I left to find where I belong, I knew it wasn’t there. Sierra was part of the bulling, instead of trying to help a sister out like a sister should, she was part of it. She let people bully me, and probably tried every possible way to find things that they can use against me. Everything is half your fault, Dad is the reason I broke down and done what I did.” Pandora said, James bit his bottom lip.
“Don’t blame me for your irresponsibility.” James said through his teeth, Pandora let out a deep breath.
“Just go okay? I don’t want you here, you don’t care, I honestly don’t know why you showed up. Leave me alone, stop calling me, stop calling Andy, he has nothing to do with what goes on between us. I’m not coming home, if anything bad happens, let me know. But until then, stop trying to contact me and trying to make me come home, ‘cause I’m not coming home. That’s final, this is my final decision.” Pandora said.
“Fine, you’ll want to come home eventually. And when you do, we’re not going to take you back under our wings. You can live on the street if this Andy kicks you out, you’ll realize you need us, and when you do realize that. We won’t be here.” James said, walking over to the door, he opened it and looked back at his daughter laying in the hospital bed.
“I won’t realize that, and Andy won’t do that.” Pandora said, James rolled his eyes.
“You think this Andy is just the best thing that had ever happened to you don’t you?” James asked, Pandora shook her head side to side.
“Nope, Jinxx, CC, Jake, Ashley, Sammi is.” Pandora replied, James rolled his eyes and Pandora smiled.
“Ashley, must be some kind of stripper right?” James asked, Pandora shook her head side to side.
“Nope, Ashley is the one standing behind you whose dying to fight you.” Pandora replied, James looked behind him and saw Jinxx and Jake dragging Ashley away from James. Ashley was trying to break free from their grip so he can jump James, he was begging them to let him go, but they wouldn’t.
“Calm down or they’ll kick you out of here!” CC hissed, pulling Ashley back.
“That’s the kind of people you want to be around? You are irresponsible aren’t you?” James asked, Pandora shook her head side to side.
“Just go.” She replied, she watched her parents leave her room and walked away. Sierra looked back at Pandora and gave her a hatful look, it didn’t bother Pandora because she felt better telling them that. Before the door closed, Andy came back inside. He had a smile on his face and he looked a little worried, he came and sat beside Pandora and looked at her.
“How did it go?” He asked, Pandora smiled.
“It went okay, I told them what they needed to hear. I think their going to leave me alone now.” Pandora said, Andy smiled.
“Good job Pandora, you stood up for yourself and told them exactly what you wanted to say. I’m proud of you.” He said, he gave her a high five and smiled.
“Yeah, it felt good saying that. When can I get out of here?” Pandora said, she looked at Andy’s blue eyes.
“You’ll have to stay in here another day, then you can leave if everything is fine.” Andy replied, Pandora smiled, she hated hospitals. Just coming in one she hated, she hated it even more since she’s the one in here.
“Whose all here?” Pandora asked.
“Um, Jinxx, Sammi, CC, Ashley, Jake, and my parents.” Andy told her, Pandora looked at him.
“Your parents?”
“Yeah, they saw the ambulance was at my house on the News and thought it was me, but a neighbor told the News it was a female going to the hospital so they came to see who you were.” Andy said, then smiled. Pandora giggled.
“Oh, that’s cool.” Pandora said, Andy chuckled.
“Yeah my parents are pretty cool, Mom wants to meet you.” Andy said, looking down at his hands.
“Awesome, let them in.”
Andy looked up at her. “You sure?”
Pandora sighed and laughed. “Nope, I’m lying.”
Andy chuckled and pushed her good arm playfully, and shook his head side to side. He got up and walked over to the door, he opened it and Pandora could barely see them standing up against the wall, Andy stepped back and that’s when Pandora saw them as they entered the room. Andy closed the door, and looked at Pandora.
“Pandora, this is my Dad Chris and my Mom Amy. Mom, Dad, this is Pandora.” Andy introduced them, Amy approached Pandora’s side and placed her hand on her shoulder.
“I’m sorry about your parents.” Amy said, Pandora smiled.
“It’s okay, I handled it, I think.” Pandora replied, Amy looked at Andy and mouthed something and Andy shook his head side to side and chuckled.
“Hi, I’m Chris Biersack and Andy gets his good looks from me.” Chris said, holding out a hand to Pandora. Andy laughed, and shook his head side to side. Pandora smiled and shook Chris’s hand.
“Hi Chris, I’m Pandora Chambers and I’m in a hospital and a big fan of your son’s band.” Pandora said, Chris chuckled lightly.
“Isn’t every girl a fan of Black Veil Brides?” Chris said, Pandora smiled.
“Not every girl, but this girl is.” Pandora replied.
They talked for a while, they laughed and told jokes and got to know each other better. It was six before Amy and Chris left, the guys came in and saw Pandora again before going home, Sammi hugged Pandora for what seemed like hours. Once they left, Pandora tried to talk Andy into going home and getting some sleep and maybe a shower. He refused and stayed with her by her side, Batman was playing on the TV and Andy watched that. Pandora was getting bored, sitting in a uncomfortable hospital bed, in a uncomfortable hospital gown was not fun. She looked at Andy, seeing how entertain he was in watching Batman.
“Hey Andy?” Pandora said, Andy looked at her.
“Hey Pandora.” He said with a smile.
“No, that’s not what I meant.” Pandora said, Andy laughed.
“I know, what’s up?”
“Will you sing me Smoke and Mirrors?” Pandora asked.
“Why?”
“Because I love that song and I don’t have my Ipod so I can’t listen to it, and why listen to it on my Ipod when I can have a live concert?” Pandora said with a smile, Andy shook his head side to side and laughed.
“Okay fine, I’ll sing you Smoke and Mirrors.”
“Awesome, but hold on.” Pandora said, Andy watched her move in the bed trying to find a comfortable spot. She finally did and she was facing him, he laughed.
“Okay, go ahead.” She said, Andy smiled.
“Quiet as I watch you falling, you become the prey again, I can see your skin is crawling, lipstick cases and sin, wake up, wake up, wake up, you’re drowning, same old song and dance, wake up, wake up, wake up, my darling, you never stood a chance, lost in love you are, out of touch so far, an illusion, it’s all just Smoke and Mirrors, always chasing scars, never gets you far, an illusion, it’s all just Smoke and Mirrors.” Andy sang, before the song was over Pandora was asleep. Andy smiled and looked at her, seeing a Black Veil Brides bracelet on her wrist that wasn’t bandaged, he turned down the TV volume a little bit and turned out the lights. He took a seat in the recliner and fell asleep quickly, knowing she was nearby and nothing can’t happen if he’s close by…
