Andy woken to the sound of his cell phone ringing, he groaned and rolled over in his bunk and reached for the phone that was under his pillow. He always slept with his phone under his pillow, no one knew why, he didn’t even know why, he just does. He felt the coolness of the phone on his fingertips and grabbed it, pulling it out. He typed his code in and was nearly blind when the bright light came on, he closed his eyes tight, then opened them slowly while blinking. He had one miss text message from Juliet, he didn’t have to think twice rather to look at it or not.


Juliet: Morning babe!

Andy: Morning sweetheart.


Last night Andy and Juliet decided to give their relationship another try since neither of them could move on without each other. After Andy sent the message he groaned again and rolled back over, not wanting to get up. He looked at the clock on his phone and it told him it was 9:30, he thought for a few minutes then decided to get up. No one else was awake, he could hear CC snoring loudly in his bunk with his curtain closed. He wandered into the kitchen area and looked at the couch where Pandora was sleeping, he kept wondering what exactly happened that made her decide to leave home. He figured he’ll talk to her later on whenever they get time alone and ask her, he opened the refrigerator and grabbed him a Mountain Dew, he wandered over to the second couch and sat down, turning on the flat screen TV and beginning to flip through channels to find something worth watching…

Pandora woken slowly, she was facing the couch cushion. She laid there for a few minutes and heard the TV on, she heard Andy’s voice and Jinxx’s voice talking softly to each other. She guessed they were trying to be quiet so they wouldn’t wake her up, she could hear them talking, but she had to pay close attention to catch the words.
“Why do you think she ran away?” Jinxx asked Andy.
“I don’t know, I think I know, but I’m not one hundred percent sure yet.” Andy replied.
“Your lucky you called when you did while she was still in California, there’s no telling where she could have went. She could have gotten hurt..” Jinxx said.
“Yeah, I’m glad I did call.” Andy said, suddenly everything went quiet and Pandora waited for a few minutes before rolling over with open eyes. Andy looked at her and smiled, she smiled back and Jinxx started to smile at her too. Her smile made everyone else smile honestly, but who doesn’t like to smile? It’s like trying not to laugh when you hear a funny joke, it’s impossible not to smile with someone.
“Morning.” Andy greeted.
“Sleep good?” Jinxx asked.
Pandora smiled. “Morning. Yeah I did, I was actually comfortable. I didn’t expect that.”
Andy chuckled softly. “Yeah that couch is unexpectedly comfortable.”
Pandora pushed the blankets off, and stood up. Andy gasped in excitement when he saw her batman sweater, Pandora and Jinxx looked at him concerned.
“What?” Pandora asked him, stretching.
“Your shirt, it’s awesome as hell.” Andy said, Pandora giggled and Jinxx shook his head side to side with a smile.
“I forgot you were a batman fan.” Pandora said, Andy looked at her.
“Batman fan? Girl please, I am batman.” Andy said, Pandora laughed.
“Okay batman. Where’s all the others?”
“Still sleeping.” Jinxx replied, he got up from the couch and entered the kitchen area and grabbed a Mountain Dew from the fridge, before he closed it he looked at Pandora. “Do you like Mountain Dew?”
“Yep, I sure do.” Pandora replied, Jinxx smiled and grabbed another can and tossed it to her. She caught it easily, and Andy looked at her.
“Nice catch.”
Pandora smiled and cracked open the can and took a long sip before saying. “Thank you, I used to play football for fun with my friend a long time ago.”
Andy nodded. “That’s awesome.”
Jinxx took his seat again and sipped his Mountain Dew, when suddenly Ashley entered into the kitchen area looking tired and half awake.
“Morning Ash.” Pandora said, Ashley waved as an “Morning” and sat down on the couch yawning.
“Lazy ass, did you know it’s almost one?” Andy said, Ashley shrugged, not caring.
“What time are we performing tonight?” Jinxx asked Andy, Andy looked at the paper beside him which they used to write down the time for concerts.
“Uh, eight.” Andy replied.
Pandora looked up to see the others coming out of the bunk area, Jake opened the refrigerator and grabbed the left over pepperoni pizza he had for lunch yesterday. He set the box on the table and opened the box, grabbing a plate and a slice of pizza, he popped it into the microwave to heat it up a bit before eating. Pandora looked at Andy.
“Does he seriously eat pizza all the time?”
“Not all the time, but mostly.” Andy replied, Pandora liked pizza, but she couldn’t have it every day.
“What are we going to do today before the concert?” Ashley asked, finally waking up. Jinxx and Andy shrugged.
“I don’t know, let’s let Pandora decide. Pandora, where would you like to go or what would you like to do?” Andy said, Pandora thought for a few minutes.
“I did saw a music store I would like to check out.” Pandora replied, Andy nod.
“Well, that’s where we’ll go then.” Andy said with a smile, Pandora was excited, since she hardly ever got to go to a music store when she was out with her mom and sister, she always had to go where they wanted to go.
“Cool, is it okay if I use the bathroom to get ready?” Pandora asked, the guys looked at her.
“Oh hell no!” Andy hissed, jumping to his feet and looking down at Pandora like a child. The guys couldn’t help but laugh. “We’re not going to do that “Is it okay if I do this or do that” kind of shit, you are now one of us. Do whatever you want, if you want to get on the kitchen table and start dancing. Do it. If you want to eat whatever you want, do it. This is now your bus too, so start acting like it and just do whatever the hell you want. Okay?”
Pandora smiled and nodded, she stood up, but coming nowhere near Andy’s height.
“Yes batman.” Pandora replied, she walked pass him and grabbed her bag and headed towards the bathroom.
“Good, now everyone is happy. Right?” Andy said, looking at the guys, they nodded and gave thumbs up.



After Pandora got ready, she headed out of the bathroom and into the kitchen area, seeing everyone in the living room ready to go. Ashley smiled and jumped up.
“Let’s go!!” He said excitedly, one by one everyone headed off the bus into the sunshine. They told Pandora to lead to the music store since they had no idea where it was in the first place, so they all followed behind her. They finally reached the music store, and started to look around. Andy followed Pandora, and the others looked around separately but still found some way to irritate one another. Pandora was walking down the CD isle slowly, looking at interesting CD’s and Andy followed. Pointing out every CD she should listen to that he liked, a smile stayed on her face the entire time as they walked.
“So, Pandora. Let’s talk.” Andy said, looking at a CD.
“Okay, about what?” Pandora said, moving to the left side of the isle to look at the other CD’s.
“What made you decide to run away?” Andy asked, he knew he’ll probably regret this decision to ask her. But he had to know. The smile on Pandora’s face slowly disappeared, as she was about to explain why.
She sighed before explaining. “My Dad is a drunk, My Mom works every day and tries to find every excuse to not deal with me, My sister hates me completely. She just loves to make fun of me. A few days ago, October 15th was my birthday. But they forgot about it, I didn’t even have a Happy Birthday from my parents. At school, my sister came up behind me and I turned around and she slammed cake into my face right in front of everybody. It was embarrassing, I never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I guess, I just got sick of how they treated me. I just decided to leave.” Pandora said, Andy felt bad because he didn’t know her birthday was coming up.
“I’m so sorry Pandora.” Andy said, Pandora sighed heavily and looked at an Disturbed CD.
“It’s okay.”
Andy spent the next few minutes thinking, then he finally had an idea.
“Hold on a minute, I need to talk to Jinxx about the concert tonight.” Andy said, walking away. He found Jinxx looking at guitars in another isle, he grabbed him by the shoulder and got his attention.
“So, I was talking to Pandora about why she ran away, and I found out a few days ago was her birthday. But it was a bad birthday, no party, no one saying Happy birthday to her. Basically just being mean to her. So, I have an idea. You up for it?” Andy said, Jinxx looked at him and nodded.
“Hell yeah, I’m up for it.”
Jinxx and Andy got the other three and Andy started to go over the plan, they all agreed to it immediately. Andy felt good about this, he felt like this was going to be a great thing for Pandora. He headed back towards Pandora, acting like nothing was going on. So he just continued walking with her and talking.
They eventually left and headed back towards the bus at 4PM and started to get ready for the concert that night…

I hope you guys are enjoying this story, I'm updating whenever I can and feel like it. As I am writing other stories as well, and getting ideas for other stories. But that's just how an author's mind work, it doesn't give you a break at all, it just keeps going and going and going. It honestly gets irritating and stressful, but you learn to deal with it slowly. But it isn't always easy.
