FWD 3 Months.

“It’s been roughly three months since our visit to see Anna and I can honestly say, you look like shit.” Ashley notes as we walk into The Whisky. “You really do love my cousin, don’t you?”

“Yea.” I croak out. “There’s just something about her that draws me to her.”

“You know her and Draven broke up right?” He asks me.

“When and why?” I ask, sincerely interested.

“About a month ago.” He replies. “She only told me that you were right; she was only stringing him along. Draven’s still their drummer; the break up was a mutual thing, I guess." Ashley says with a shrug. "And there’s a reason why I’m dragging you to their show tonight. Anna wants you to here this song she wrote. It’s not for the new band or even Cut Throat Vixen; it’s just a song.” I nod my head as we head into the front of the crowd where Jake, CC and Jinxx where. The three of them shoot me a smile, a sincere smile; a smile that feels me they’ve heard the song.

Five songs in, the band gets serious. “Ok this song is for all the little rockers in the crowd; you’ve been working your asses off all night and this song is going to let out take a breather. This isn’t a Poetry For the Poison song nor is it a Cut Throat Vixen song. It’s a song I wrote about a boy I know and love dearly with all my heart.” She says as her eyes lock onto mine. “This song is called Past Lives…”

Once the song is over with, I find myself climbing onto the stage. Annabel looks up at me with tears in her eyes. I walk over to her with a smile on my face. I put both of my hands on her face and lean in until our lips meet. She immediately kisses back as her arms sneak their way around my neck. I pull back and rest my forehead onto her. “I miss you.” I whisper before kissing her once more; this time with more passion. I could hear the crowd behind us cheering but I don’t care. I’m too busy getting lost in Annabel’s touch and kiss…
