Fallen Angels

The transition between being stuck in Alese’s and my head to going back into my body was a huge shock. I fell off the bed into people. When I looked to see who landed on me, it was Jinxx. He got up mumbling something then offered me a hand and helped me up. I looked around and the whole gang was there, except Ashley. They all had worried looks on their face and Vic looked exhausted. Jack and Alex were helping Alese stand up. As soon as I saw her I reached out to feel the link and it was there, no brick wall, and there was no hostility only confusion.
I jumped over the bed and took her in my arms, she was back to me and that’s all I cared about. Someone cleared their throat and Vic spoke up, “Andy, Alese, we need to talk.” Andy nodded, never letting go of Alese.

“Everyone else already knows, we had to tell them. I wanted to wait until you knew so you could decide, but well one stumbled upon us and just so happened to be Ashley’s soul mate.” By this time I was giving Vic a weird look, I was confused.

“Andy, angels are falling on purpose and joining Lucifer because they think Heaven will crumble. Eve’s memories have been re-opened and she is tearing apart Eden. Adam is doing all he can but Eve is distraught and the angels are hurting because of it.” Mike told him.
“Well that would explain Juliet kissing Lucifer.” Andy said out loud. “But how do they still have their wings and powers?”

“Well they aren’t really falling in a sense like you did; they are leaving by choice like we did. Plus Adam is too busy with Eve to even notice. The only ones who can do anything are Gabriel, Michael, and Raziel and they are just trying to keep Heaven in one piece.”

Andy was so lost in thought over this new information that he was a little shocked when Alese asked, “What did you mean by ‘One stumbled upon us and it happened to be Ashley’s soul mate’?”

“Well…” Mike said, but Alex took over, “We were cleaning up the demon mess outside the border when we stumbled upon this girl who looked hurt.” Then Jack continued, “So we went to help her, and she pulled out some really bad ass and well forged throwing stars.”
Alex, “That nicked my wing.”
Jack, “But I saw her pulling them out and pulled him to safety.”
Alex, “So we went to get Ashley.”
Jack, “Who turned out to not be much help.”
Alex, “Because as soon as he saw her he got all mushy and tongue tied.”
Jack, “He forgot all his spells.”
Alex, “So right before she threw a start at him.”
Jack, “Jinxx interrupted and blasted her with a sleeping spell.”
Alex, “Then Ashley came back to and put a binding spell on her.”
Jack, “So we brought her to Ashley’s house.”
Alex, “Were they removed the spells Lucifer places on all the angels that join him.”
Jack, “Yeah we didn’t really understand but we do understand that as soon as Lucifer’s spells were disabled.”
Alex, “Her and Ashley practically jumped each other.”

Andy had a bit of a hard time keeping up between Jack and Alex but Alese didn’t, she was used to it.

“So where are they now?” She asked.
Alex, “Do you really have to ask?”
Jack, “They are fucking like jack rabbits.” He then giggled because he realized what he had said, earning him a smack from Alex.
“Is that really safe? With her having left Heaven to join Lucifer?”
“Once the spells were gone and she realized that she and Ashley were soul mates, there was no stopping them from linking. Even if she still wants to join Lucifer, she can’t, she is bonded with Ashley and inside our protection. Not that I think she wants to go back, she saw what it was like being there. I have a feeling she will be staying.” Jinxx said. Everyone else nodded, well everyone but two who had slipped away, Carla and CC. Andy had a feeling that Ashley and this new girl weren’t the only two bonding at this time.

“Well guys we have some work to do.” He said looking at his fellow brothers. “First I want to try and get as many angels as we can from Lucifer. We need a plan, but seeing as to how we have two of our comrades out of office right now, another one who looks so drained that he could fall asleep at any second, and Alese and I just getting back, I want everyone to take a break tonight. Post some guards up and get rest. It’s going to get bumpy from here and we all need our strength.” They all nodded and headed out, Mike was supporting Vic, Jinxx and Jake were talking about going for a swim, Jack started whispering to Alex, causing him to blush, which just left Alese and I.
