CC's P.O.V
“So you mean that by seeing Victoria, you automatically remembered Veronica? Do you mean...?” I sighed, nodding.. But it was impossible!
“She could have been pregnant?” asked Jake, I shook my head, no impossible!
“No, we had sex only one time...
-It's enough for a pregnancy! Did you use a protection?” asked Ash, I sighed.
“Do you remember if you used a protection three years earlier?
-Yes. Because I always do, even when they say 'I take the pill'” he replied in a stupid high voice. I sighed again, what if Tori was my daughter? But, it also could be only her daughter.. Not mine. She never explained why she suddenly left..
“Three years earlier? Tori is three years old.. Plus nine month.. It fit to the June/July!” said Rebie with wide eyes... What?

“We need to get a paternity test! As soon as possible!” said Jinxx, they all nodded.
“As soon as Tori and Sammi come back!” added Rebie.
“What if it's just a mistake and I just remembered Ronnie because I still...” I awkwardly said.. No! I couldn't love her! It has been three years!
“Then we'll know, and if we are right then you'll have a little piece of that special Veronica in Tori!” said Andy, putting his hand my shoulder.
“Plus Tori told me she only remember about her mother...
-She still remember her mother?” I said cutting her off, that could help! They just looked at me as if I just went crazy!
“If.. If she can recognize her mother.. Maybe she will be able to recognize if it's Veronica or not!” they thought about it for a short while then nodded..

Rebekah's P.O.V
We were now all waiting for Sammi and Tori to come back.. she brought my baby to the mall and insisted for them to be two only! I sighed, at least it will help them know each other a little more.. Suddenly -finally!- we heard them walking in, Tori was as hyper as usual and I could hear her jumping up and down. Sammi was laughing and I guess they had a good time. They walked to us and yes, I could tell they had a good time!
“Rebie could you please take Tori to her room? So that we could talk to Sammi only.. If the results are negative I don't want the cute little girl to be disappointed..” said Andy, I nodded as Sammi gave us a suspicious look.
“Which results? What are you talking about?” I gave her a reassuring look as I took my baby's hand to walk upstairs.

Arrived in her room she showed me e-ve-ry thing they bought.. Including the panties. But of course I remained serious and smiling, if she wanted to share this with me then I would stay and it wasn't that annoying as... As it was Tori!
Looking at my phone I realized it has already been thirty minutes since we were there, I hoped it would have been long enough but just in case texted Andy.. Okay!
We went back downstairs as Tori was still talking about the 'huuuuuuuge candy shop with so many colors'. I couldn't help but smile! She seemed so amazed, first by the size of the whole house, second by the size of her own room, third by the size of her bed.. And now by the candy shop. It seemed like everything was bigger than before.. We walked to the lounge where everybody else were and sat with them, they were already talking about something else and it wasn't awkward.

Then we drove to the hospital and they told us it wasn't there, that we needed to go to a private clinic for them to do the paternity test and blah blah blah.
So we went to that so special place and they told us to wait... About an hour later a cute little female – I guess a doctor– came to us with an apologetic smile..
“Good m.. Afternoon! I'm Dr. Jackson, you're here for the paternity test right?” we nodded.
“Ok, so sorry for the waiting, the nurse kinda forgot you there..” she awkwardly said. Then she told us to follow her, we went to a white room and she gave us paper to fill.. How cool! CC quickly took care of it, I could tell he was tensed us and stressed.. Then the doctor explained Tori that they needed to take a bit of her blood to make an important research.. As it was 'important', Tori tried to forgot her fear about needle and let them do... Only if I was there of course!

Then they took some of CC's too and told us to wait.. About one or two hours!
“Do you think it actually work?” asked CC, who's smile has been gone long time ago.
“Normally yes, there are 99.9% of chance for it to work. Don't worry C! You'll know in two hours max.” said Sammi with a reassuring smile. The poor man just nodded, sighing, he was looking down and it seemed like all his usual energy was gone.
“Do you think it will be positive?” asked Jake with a concerned look toward CC, we all shrugged. How could we know? Nobody really remembered Veronica -even worse for me I didn't know her at all- and Tori was too young to remember anything.. When CC has shown her a picture of Veronica -yes, he still had one!!- she didn't scream mommy but she stayed looking at it for a long while, quiet.. Did it mean yes? Or no? Nobody knows, the test will tell us!

“If the test is positive what will we do?” asked Jinxx all of a sudden. We all looked at him, yes, what would happen?
“I will find a way to found Veronica if she's still alive.” CC replied, absentmindedly. He sighed, he seemed so melancholic each time he said her name, I wonder if he wasn't still in love with her.. He did have a relationship with Lauren for a while, but if this love story was before and he still had a picture of her..
“What about her? She can't live without Rebekah but certainly need her real father..?” said Jinxx. Andy sent him a death glare before growling:
“Rebekah stay with me..” with that he pouted his lower lip in a really cute way and we just laughed.

“Don't worry Andy, I was more thinking about CC to come live with us for a while so that they could get used to each other! Rebie is aaaall yours!
-No! Rebie is mine too!” said a cute little voice, cutting Jinxx off. With that the young child ran to ma and wrapped me into a hug.. Wait! Wasn't she supposed to be busy playing? And not listening to our conversation?
I guess they all thought about that because suddenly we started talking about music...

“But what if the test is negative?” asked Ash, frowning. I guess none of us could really think about something else!
“Then I will find a way to found Veronica if she's still alive.” CC replied, still really absentmindedly. We just giggled as his automatic reply.
“Why didn't you look for her? I mean, why did you give up?” he sighed,
“I understood she didn't want me anymore. Even if it broke my heart I couldn't force her to stay.. I tried and tried, but I didn't really like to feel like I was talking to a wall.. You know, if I could know, I would get her back and form a real family.. If she want.” I looked at him, he was melancholic again.
“Then let's start the research again.. If there was something wrong, I hope three years later it's okay now..?” he gave me the first smile since we arrived there.

We talked about this and that and two -loooong- hours later the young lady came back with some papers in her hand.
“I'm sorry for making you wait again, but we had some issues with the technician...” we all sighed, we didn't give a damn about why it took that long, we only wanted the damn results!
“But here we are! Are you ready to know if you're a father Mr. Mora?” he quickly nodded as we were all dying to know!
“The result are...”

I found it funny to write about a paternity test when most story have a pregnancy one.. x)

If I did a sequel, would you keep reading it? Knowing that you still don't know Rebie's back story.. But it won't be long, maybe 30 chapters (instead of making this one with +90 chapters!!)
