Rebekah's P.O.V
I put on my shoes and followed Sammi, Jinxx gave us some money to 'buy whatever we want'. We headed to the mall.
“I had a question for a good time now.. But you don't need to reply if you don't want to..” I chuckled and she turned to me confused, I answered to her silent question:
“Nobody can force me to say something I don't want to say! They even try to torture me...
-Someone tortured you??
-Long story.” then I looked down. She nodded understanding I wouldn't say more.

“So... Yesterday you told Mrs. Taylor you would be able to live on your own.. How would you feed yourself? And all?
-I'll get a job, pay for my own bills and all.
-But you aren't even done with high school!
-Don't worry, I worked already.
-Can you tell me more?
-I used to do tattoos, I can make you one if you want. That's how I lived until the stupid social worker found me and took me to this even more stupid orphanage.” she chuckled and looked down at me.
“I'm glad the stupid social worker took you, or else I wouldn't have meet you. And even more important, Tori wouldn't neither...” yes, that was right!

We arrived to the mall and Sammi parked her car. She was nice to me, so as wild animals, I was nice to her. We first went to Hot Topic, she bought me three slim jeans: one black riped, one full black and one bleached. I was the one to choose, but as she was the one to pay so I said 'she bought me'. Then she took me two dresses: a simple one and another 'just in case'.
“What do you mean by 'just in case'?
-Well, if you catch a boy's eyes and he ask you out...
-It would be nice. But it won't happen...
-Who knows” she said walking away as I looked at her shocked. No! It will never happen! Guys were evil! 'Even Andy?' asked a voice in my head, but I shook it away.

“Talking about it, about school...? If you already had friends and all we can find a way to let you in your old school.” I smiled, why was she so caring?
“No don't worry, the closest will be the best. My only friends, I know where they are and there's Tori...” she smiled warmly and said:
“Then we'll go to the closest school next week, don't worry about Tori. Sometimes good things happen!” what did she mean?

We continued our shopping, I picked up a few bands tee, a lot of long sleeved and two skirts. We bought a pair of vans and a pair of combat boots, then we looked for something to eat!
After eating some McDonald's I dragged her to the sport shop and took two weights, she looked at me with wide eyes and I shyly said:
“I do a lot of work out...
-That's amazing! How can you keep the motivation?
-It helps for self defense.” she looked at me with wide eyes.

I knew I was scaring her a bit, but I was the only one who knew what I lived... So many memories.. But now was shopping time with 'sweet bitch' as I called her in my head. Because she was sweet to me, but she separated me from Tori so bitch!
We headed to a jewelry shop and I bought a few bracelets, belts, ring and earrings, she also bought me some make up that I forgot.

To end up our day we went to an apple store, she took me a phone and a laptop, in a matching gray. But then we headed to a bag shop as she wanted me to have something more feminine than a backpack. I fell in love with a black bag with gray arabesque... Yes you got it, I love gray.
We were on our way back home when suddenly Sammi turned to me and said:
“You know, you look beautiful when you smile!” I looked at her shocked... me? Beautiful? Never!

We came back home and Jinxx was there waiting for us with a big smile. It reminded me of when my dad was waiting for my mom and I after a 'girly day'... It broke my heart, but I achieved to give him a smile, avoiding once again the hug witch would make me break down..

I went to my room, followed by Sammi, she helped me to put my new stuffs in place without asking. I guess she understood I would always say 'I'm good'...
Then she wished me goodnight and kissed my forehead. I didn't feel the urge of pushing her away, and she tried to gave me a hug. I didn't feel like hugging back, but I let her do anyway. She left my room with a big smile and I lay on my bed, putting some music as the night always brought back bad memories...

I woke up during the night and went to the kitchen to drink some water, then I heard them, Jinxx and Sammi. They were talking about... Me?
“I'm worried about her, she looks so damaged inside.
-I know, but I think she just needs some time. Remember Mrs. Taylor told us she lived with 'bad people'?” I could almost see him rolling his eyes.
“Then what she need is just some love.
-I know, but it's hard when you feel rejected. Her walls are pretty high, sometime she just stay silent when I ask her a question, and I know that she won't answer.
-Just give her some time and a lot of love, then she'll come out of her shell. I bet she had been through a lot, so she's scared of opening herself to strangers!
-I know, you're right. Good night darling.
-I love you.”

How...? How could he understand so much about me when he remained silent? When he didn't ask me anything? I felt tears flooding on my cheeks as I went back to my bed and try to fell asleep. It seemed like I finally found a family, but I had to leave them for Tori, because I didn't want her to be as hurt as I was. I wanted to protect her no matter what! Because for me, it was already too late...
